8 eight: Story behind the paint

Who was the boy? Did he know him? Why his style of talking was too familiar to him? Dae Ju was thinking.

"Ah! What is happening today? Why everything looks familiar!" he fade up with his life and said. There was no meeting today. So, he wants to go home as soon as possible. But he can't go until the director was inside the building. He was also curious about Mr. Park.

"Did he go or he didn't? Should I call him?" he thought. He also wanted to test the watch so he took his wrist near but suddenly his eyesight stuck on a corner of the room. There was a camera hanging on the wall too.

"Oh, I didn't notice it before? That means, chairman was keeping an eye on me?"

"But he has a camera in his room too." he was confused about it.

When he was on his way home he was thinking about those things which happened today.

Suddenly he saw Lina on the street. She was with a boy in a black suit. His face was covered with mask and sunglass.

"Who is he?" he felt suspicious so he was looking at them from behind. He was a board in his hand but seems like there was something painted on the board. They were walking together and seems like Lina know him well. She was talking with him very informally. They were coming to him so he turned back so that they can't see him. He was in suite and that's why he couldn't hide his face. There was a park just behind him and seeing it he went inside the park. There was a newspaper kept in a thrush bin and he took it as if he needs it the most in the world. He was looking at them and sat on a bench. He unfold the newspaper in case he needs it. And within a few minutes, he understood that he truly needs that because both of them were coming to him. As soon as they reached near him, he covered his whole body with the newspaper as if he was reading it so attentively that he doesn't notice anything else around him.

Both of them sat down beside him. The boy sat just beside him and hearing his voice, Dae Ju could understand who the boy was. Lina also sit beside the boy and they were very close with each other.

"She should be in the salon! What is she doing here? It's just 4 pm! And what is she doing with Yeon Hoon? She said he won't come to her again! Look, how shameless he is!" the anger level of Dae Ju bursted and he looked at them with very scary look though they didn't see him. When he noticed that Lina can see him, he immediately covered his face again and acted like he was busy in reading newspaper. But he was actually listening to their conversation.

"I mean, you draw it without any intention? You really didn't draw it for sale?" Yeon Hoon asked. Dae Ju felt curious about the picture. Which picture did she draw and why she gave it to Yeon Hoon?

He tried to look at it secretly. He moved the newspaper a little and peek on the board. He looked at the photo and he could see it. He surprised by seeing it. It was the same picture which he saw in the chairman's room a while ago. Does that mean, she drew it! Now, he remembered where he saw it before. He saw it the day when Lina was going to the fair saying that she will sell her arts. Then he picked a piece of her work and amazed by it. It was the small version of that picture. His head start hurting again.

*The blank memory start filling with a happy and sad memory. He could still hear their conversation but his mind was in somewhere else. He remembered that there was a girl who painted the picture with all of her heart. She was happy when she drew it. He was beside her and watch her painting. He felt something for the girl but he was confused about those feelings because his heart was belongs to other. She was looking so beautiful. She was sitting on the floor. Her hair was opened and in touched the ground. As she was bending down while painting, she was looking sexy. Whenever she draws something, her mouth stayed open and that's why she looked more gorgeous. He wanted to move his eyes but he couldn't. He asked her, what was she drawing. In answer, she said she was drawing all the emotions she had. But the most precious thing was her heart which she gave him but he didn't accept her. And she was sure that he will accept her heart one day because she believes that love can win everything in the world. Hearing her, he couldn't stay any longer. He stood up and left from there.

But after few days, when she gifted him the art, he received it coldly but he liked it very much and took it in his office. His dad also liked it and he said him to hang it on his room. He did the same and whenever he looked at the picture, he felt strange. His hand automatically went on the picture and touched it. He remembered her that face when she drew it.*

Dae Ju felt like someone was hitting his head with hammer. He couldn't hold the newspaper anymore. He dropped it and hold his head with both of his hand. He pressed his head so that the injury level decreased but it didn't help him at all. He felt like he will pass out again but he won't let the body do with those s**t again. He thought Lina and Yeon Hoon was there but they were not. They already left from there when he was busy in remembering those memories. His whole body was trembling and he didn't know what he should do. He closed his eyes and bend down while holding his head. It helps him to feel comfortable. After some times, he felt okay and he could stand up.

"Ah! That was terrible! But, I saw Lina. She was drawing the big one. She gave it to Rumi! He took it and hang it on his office room. Then what happened after that? How can it hang in the Chairman's room now? Did he sell it? Or it's been stolen? Ah! I don't feel good. I need to go home." he thought and start walking. He couldn't get the connection between the chairman and Rumi.

"It can be a duplicate! Maybe she took it back and sold it! But, I saw his dad! That means, their parents were alive when she drew the picture!" he still couldn't get it and he wanted to stop thinking about the picture as it was hampering him since morning.

"There's a long story just behind a picture!" he sighed but he didn't know that there was another long story behind the exchanging ownership of the picture.

"I should rather ask Lina. But, she left already? Aish! She didn't even notice me! How rude she is!" he felt angry but he didn't know why he felt angry and on whom he felt angry. When he was walking on the road, he was looking here and there. It was still sunny but the road was not that crowdy. People are still inside their workplace and housewives are in their home. The teenager and the kids were outside and they were enjoying their life by their own way. There ware many shops around him. In front of some shops, there was a table and chairs for the customers. They can buy snacks from the shops and eat by using the chair and the table. Dae Ju felt tired and went near a shop. He sat on a chair and leaned his head on it. He closed his eyes but he heard a familiar voice. So, he opened his eyes and looked around. There was no one around him. Then where did the voice came from? It was like Lina's voice. Indeed, it was Lina's voice. She and Yeon Hoon were inside the shop which was beside him. They were buying something and argued with each other for the bill.

"Let me pay the bill. Why you always do this?" Lina was saying.

"No, Noona! Let me treat you for your nice work! And, are you really be okay with just one bun? I mean, how can you skip your meal?" he asked.

"No! I told you didn't get time! There were many customers today! And I am fine! I told you don't worry about me! Is everything alright between you and your mom? Don't tell me that you quarreled with her again." Lina said little loudly. So Dae Ju heard everything. They took sit inside the shop as there were two seats inside the shop. They couldn't see Dae Ju. They can see a man was sitting on a chair outside but his face was not seen. But Lina noticed him and she tried to recognize him by seeing his backside. He seems familiar to her but she couldn't recognize him.

"Where are you looking at?" Yeon Hoon asked while chewing.

"That guy looks familiar." she pointed at Dae Ju and said.

"Ah! Don't look at another man! Just concentrate on who you have!" Yeon Hoon said and stopped.

"What?" Lina was surprised and asked.

"I mean, what you have. You should concentrate on eating." he gulped and took another big bite. After that he stayed quiet for sometimes. He realized that he shouldn't say that.

"What did he just say? How dare he! Ah! This brat is really testing my patience level!" He got angry on him once more but the poor boy didn't know that there was someone who is cursing him from his back. He continued make her understand about his feelings since he understands he fall for her. But she couldn't understand and maybe she will never understand as she thinks him as her younger brother. Dae Ju couldn't control himself anymore. He just wished him death and never come to her. But, alas! He couldn't do anything.

"Now, she is laughing, eating with him but she acted like I did a sin by keeping Seo Jin's name! Wasn't she jealous on her? If it was not the. why she acted like that? Aish! I can't take it anymore! What did she think? I could never get her?" he was talking with himself. He wanted to stood up but he remains sitting.

"Hey! Are you feeling jealous on him? That brat! Come on! She will never accept her! Or she will? What if she really accepts his love? How can I survive in this cruel world without her? She will say bye to me and leave me alone!" he wanted to cry but if people see him like this they will think him as crazy so he controlled himself.

"Okay, Let me test today. I will tell her that Seo Jin is my girlfriend. I think it would be enough!" he laughed. But suddenly he remembered somethings.

"How can I forget it! It's the end of the month! That means...Ah! My sister! I couldn't say a goodbye to you! I really care for you but you are going to get married after a week. But, I can't meet you! I can't attend your marriage ceremony! I really wanted to see you as a bride! Please forgive me!" he was talking with himself while being emotional.

"Should I go and take a look at her? What she is doing and how she is doing? I am sure she is happy. But I can't attend the wedding." he stood up and walked away from there. He wanted to go to meet Seo Jin but how? Will she recognize him? No, she will not. Because the truth is Dae Ju is unconscious and his body is in hospital. So, how can she will believe that it's her brother?

Suddenly he got an idea and become happy.
