2 nine: Truth can't be hidden forever

"Do you know why I called whenever I feel down?" asked Jheong Woo. "Why?" asked Dae Ju.

"Because there is nobody else who would accompany me during my hard time," said Jheong Woo.

"Ah! Then you can share your burden with me. Though I can't do anything for you, you will feel less burdensome by sharing." said Dae Ju. Both of them were walking on a street.

"Let's go to our favorite place." saying this he starts walking fast. Dae Ju didn't know about that place so he kept following him silently.

"Why are you so quiet nowadays?" asked Jheong Woo while walking.

"Quiet? Me?" asked Dae Ju surprisingly. Because he thought that he was talkative. Suddenly he remembered if he is talkative then what is Tae Ri? He could turn anyone deaf by just talking. Thinking of his team members, he took a long breath. He didn't notice that Jheong Woo was standing in front of him. He kept walking by thinking of his teammates and suddenly got hit with Jheong Woo.

"Ah! You startled me! Why did you stop walking?" said Dae Ju with a little loud voice.

"What's going on? Why are you acting like this? I am seeing that you didn't talk with me, you are acting like I am a stranger since I came back!" said Jheong Woo with a worried voice.

"Ah! It's nothing!" said Dae Ju.

"Look at me. Now tell me the truth. Does something wrong happen?" asking this he holds Dae Ju's cheeks by his hand and makes Dae Ju look at him. As Dae Ju was weak in eye contact, and whenever someone looked at his eyes, he felt embarrassed and turned red. This time, his ear got hot and he couldn't look at his eyes. His eyeball was moving here and there. Seeing this Jheong Woo gets angry but he stays calm and holds his cheeks more tightly.

"Look at me! Why are you looking here and there?" said Jheong Woo. They were standing in the middle of a street. There were so many lights here and there and some passengers were passing by the path.

"Look! Are they a gay couple? OMG! I can't believe that I finally see a couple like them!" said a young girl to a boy. "Let's go from here." saying this the boy left holding the girl's hand. A lady was passing with her little child. Seeing them like this the lady picked the child up on her lap and covered his eyes with her other hand. Then she made a face on them and left quickly.

"Um-hm" clearing his throat Dae Ju pulled Jheong Woo's hand and removed his hands from his face. He felt embarrassed and guilty so he couldn't look at his friend. Both of them start walking. This time Dae Ju was walking in front and Jheong Woo was behind him.

"Okay, don't tell me anything but I will find out what happened to you. Don't you remember we promised to help each other and stay together no matter what? How could you forget that?" asked Jheong Woo.

"Did you call me for this?" asked Dae Ju with a strong voice.

"No," replied Jheong Woo with a soft voice.

"Then tell me why you called me? I am hungry. Lina is waiting for me." said Dae Ju while walking.

"Didn't you tell her that you are coming with me?" asked Jheong Woo.

"Yes," replied Dae Ju shortly.

"Then you forget she wouldn't wait for you tonight?" surprised Jheong Woo.

"Why? She was cooking for both of us!" said Dae Ju and stopped.

"Because she knows that you are with me and I will not let you go that easily! And also we will eat together in our favorite place," said Jheong Woo.

"I don't have money so I can't eat outside," said Dae Ju.

"Hey! Tell me what is a friend for?" saying this Jheong Woo put his hand on Dae Ju's shoulder. Dae Ju looks at him but didn't reply anything.

"I will treat you tonight!" said Jheong Woo. They reached near a small restaurant.

"Let's go!" saying this Jheong Woo pulled Dae Ju with him and entered the restaurant. The restaurant was not for the rich people. It was quite small and it wasn't neat enough. Some small tables were kept here and there. They were not arranged well. The lighting system was not satisfying.

"What do you want to eat?" Jheong Woo asked Dae Ju. Dae Ju couldn't find any reply so he stayed calm and started thinking.

"Okay, I will order your favorite dish. You like the spicy chicken of this restaurant more than any other thing in the world. Right?" saying this he searched for the waiter.

"What? No....wait....I....." Dae Ju couldn't say anything, he tried to stop him but failed. He doesn't like that much spicy food so he tried to stop him but he couldn't. Jheong Woo ordered that already and within a few minutes, the waiter came back with the food which they ordered. The chicken looked very spicy. Dae Ju got afraid that he couldn't bear the spice level of it. He was hesitating to eat that.

"Start eating! What are you thinking!" saying this Jheong Woo put some rice in a bowl and give it to Dae Ju.

"Oh! Yes. I am eating." Dae Ju took a spoonful of rice and put it in his mouth.

"Oh! We are lucky today! Look! There is a drumstick!" saying this Jheong Woo took the drumstick and put it on Dae Ju's bowl.

"Ah! Thank you." Dae Ju slowly took a part from it and poured it into his mouth hesitatingly. It was very spicy but he liked it. His nose and eyes got watery but he couldn't stop eating.

"Drink this. It will reduce the taste." saying this Jheong Woo poured some liquor in a glass and gave it to Dae Ju. "But, she forbade me to drink this," said Dae Ju.

"Aish! Since when have you started to listen to her?" Jheong Woo made a face at him and said a little loudly.

"Ah! The thing is...." Dae Ju couldn't say more than that.

"The thing is nothing. Now cheers!" saying this he made him hold the glass and hit it with his own glass. Dae Ju couldn't drink since he came into this body. But now he got a chance and also he got a company for drinks together. So, he couldn't say no to Jheong Woo.

"Okay! Cheers!" saying this Dae Ju emptied the glass with one sip. The next morning Jheong Woo woke up and found himself on a bed.

"What? Why am I here? Isn't it Rumi's house?" asked Jheong Woo to himself. He tried to remember last night. Then he remembered that he was drinking with Rumi. He was sharing his sad moments with his friend. Rumi was also talking. As he was fully drunk he said that he was not actually his friend. He is actually an idol named Kim Dae Ju. Jheong Woo laughed at him and he became angry. Suddenly he held Jheong Woo's hand and pulled it with him. Rumi took him to a small house. Jheong Woo was feeling like it was heaven. Then a guy came near to them but he didn't welcome them because they were drunk. Rumi was shouting, telling like, "Prove him that I am not me!" Jheong Woo said to him what the hell he was saying but he kept shouting. That guy touched and caressed Dae Ju's face while closing his eyes. After that, something like a miracle happened. Jheong Woo saw his friend standing beside him but the face wasn't of Rumi's. He couldn't recognize him at first but when he looked carefully, he saw the real Dae Ju was standing in the place of Rumi. Seeing this he ran away from there and after that, he couldn't remember anything. That time something moved next to him. Jheong Woo got afraid and tried to pull the blanket to see what it was. But before he touched the blanket a hand came out from inside. Jheong Woo got so afraid that he wanted to scream but then he saw it was his friend. The hand removes the blanket from the head. Ah! "You startled me!" said Jheong Woo, being startled. "What? You woke up already?" said Dae Ju with a very low and broken voice. "Hey! Why am I here? And why are we sleeping together?" asked Jheong Woo. "Don't you remember? We spent so many beautiful moments last night," said Dae Ju. He was half asleep so he couldn't understand what he was actually saying. "What! Aish! Where is my shirt? What happened last night? What are you saying?" Jheong Woo invented that he was a bare body.

"Hey! Rumi! Wake up! Tell me about yesterday. Hey!" shouting like this Jheong Woo called Dae Ju. Dae Ju opened his eyes and startled. He sat down immediately.

"Why are you here like this?" saying this he checked if he had clothes and found that he was in a T-shirt which he was wearing the last night.

"Ah! My head! It's hurting like crazy!" saying that he holds his head with his hands.

"Do you remember about last night? Did you take me here?" asked Jheong Woo. He was relaxed now.

"Ah! I can't rem...Wait! Yes, You passed out after coming outside from the house and I carried you all the way!" said Dae Ju surprisingly.

"Then, then.....That actually happened? That was not a dream?" said Jheong Woo shockingly.

"What are you talking about?" asked Dae Ju. He was not so sure what his friend was talking about.

"Tha-that ho-house? Th-that g-guy? Th-that's y-you? Were those all true?" asked Jheong Woo, being very shocked and afraid.

"Ah! The thing is...." Dae Ju couldn't answer suddenly. He was feeling guilty though he knew that he didn't do anything willingly.

"I got the answer. Then why did I see another face instead of your?" asked Jheong Woo surprisingly and curiously. Dae Ju stayed quiet and looked another way. "Hey! Why aren't you answering?" asked Jheong Woo again and tried to look at him.

"Is he dead? And now his soul is following you? To take revenge from you?" asked Jheong Woo again whisperingly.

"No! Why would I follow someone? And both of us know that it wasn't his fault! He tried to save us but he couldn't!" said Dae Ju in his own style.

"What! What are you trying to say? I didn't tell you that you followed him. I asked if he was following you." said Jheong Woo surprisingly. He couldn't understand what was going on here. "Would you please stop messing up with my mind?" shouted Dae Ju.

"I-I can't understand. Please explain to me what happened after the accident?" Jheong Woo wanted to know curiously.

"I found myself in this body when I woke up. And Lina was beside me. I wanted to flee from here several times but I couldn't. I wanted to go back to my real body but I just can't. I couldn't find any way." saying this very slowly Dae Ju took a long breath.

"Then, you are telling me that you are the real Kim Dae Ju? Not Rumi?" said Jheong Woo with a suspicious voice.

"Yes, now you got me," said Dae Ju.

"No, I mean how could this happen? Why would this happen? I mean, Are you sure you are....Ah! You are driving me crazy!" said Jheong Woo.

"It is true. And it depends on you rather trust me or not," said Dae Ju simply. "Whew! Take a long breath Jheong Woo! Nothing is strange here! You have to pull yourself back!" said Jheong Woo and took some deep breath.

"I knew it. You won't trust me. Nobody will. I have to deal with it myself. Sorry I put you in tension but I was so drunk that my brain wasn't working." said Dae Ju without taking a breath but slowly. He was looking at the window.

"No, I trust you, I've always trusted you but how could I trust this? I mean...." saying this Jheong Woo took a long breath and looked at Dae Ju. He could see that his friend's face was sparkling and there was another face seen in the place of his friend. Jheong Woo removes his eyes from him and rubs his eyes with his own hand. Now he could see his face. He couldn't believe his own eyes. He got afraid now and gulped. That time Lina knocked at the door and the sparkling face vanished.
