Four nurses immediately transported a stretcher to the scene. One of them, a masculine nurse, tapped Seung's arm lightly, his lips tight and eyes narrowed.
"Please step aside, sir. We need to get her to the theatre as soon as possible," the masculine nurse said, tapping Seung's arm lightly.
Seung sniffed, his face wet and faintly red. He nodded, tears still falling down. He stood up; his sister was lifted by two female nurses onto the stretcher. As the nurses hurried toward the end of the hallway with the stretcher, Seung grabbed the masculine nurse's arm, stopping him briefly.
Seung's eyes were wide with desperation, his grip on the nurse's arm tightening. "Please…please don't let my sister die," he begged, his voice breaking.
"Be rest assured. Her chance of survival is high because her treatment is very early." With that, Seung let go of him, and the stretcher's tires rolled smoothly on the tiled floor, the nurses disappearing.
