Another hunter responded, "Not really. I heard from some other hunters on my way back to HQ yesterday that he's an E-rank Hunter who escaped a year ago when they first tried to arrest him."
Jaemin's head was slightly turned as he clenched his fist, thoughts swirling in his mind. He knew staying idle, trying to convince the other hunters that the man wasn't who they thought, or heading straight to headquarters wasn't the best option. His mind raced, torn between standing his ground to argue the innocence or rushing ahead to do what he knew was right. The weight of his decision bore heavily on him, each second ticking by with dangerous potential. But deep down, he knew words wouldn't help here—action was all that mattered now.
In the next second, he jumped off the rooftop's edge, his leg slamming into the ground with a thunderous impact.
