Slight.

The whip, now that I think about it, hurts like hell. Ordinary whips are bearable — I won't flinch from them. This whip doesn't look any different, and it isn't designed to be a torture whip either, meaning the whip has been laced by some sort of poison?

"please forgive our early arrival. We thought the journey here would take longer, so we decided to embark earlier. I did not know the roads here would be so straight. Though there seemed to be this one huge brick on the road?"

"please forgive our tardiness, your highness. That brick you ran over just happened to fall from the 'heavens' when you were riding in. If it is an inconvenience, I shall have it removed for you."

"if possible, please remove it now." said the king, offering a handshake.

Pangzi motioned for the servants to take away the so called brick, which they took out, for as far as they knew, the imperial family wanted the 'brick' gone.

Before long, his father came rushing and took the emperor's hand. Pangzi felt no regret for the situation, as there was no way Pangzi would dare to smirch the emperor's hands with his blood. That, and the emperor would not be fazed by a bit of blood on his hands.

"apologies, for having my son greet you. I hope he has not offended you in any way whatsoever? Let me escort you to the main house. As I imagine, you must be famished from your early arrival?"

"yes, yes. Thank you, Commander."

Though he couldn't do anything about the emperor, nor the pain, he decided to smear the blood on his future wife, who would no doubt scream. That was, until he realized, it was Ruan Gao.

"you haven't been here in years, right? Lemme show you around." he said, while hiding his hand behind his back.

Though his hand was drenched in blood, he somehow managed to hide it well enough.

"ok, sure. Just don't do anything to your maids, after we get married."

I wonder what kind of rumors she heard about me?

"is that a sick joke, or what?" I asked.

"nothing~ just lead the way, fatty."

"onward, Gognzhi!"

"gross~ don't call me that." she said in a joking voice.

I led her into my courtyard with no intentions of giving her my 'medicine'. Though I did not care of her, I had to make enough effort for small talk to keep her happy. A bothersome companion, is what it is called, if I remember right.

"so, Ruan Gao. You know I hate small talk, so let me get to the point — let's end our engagement."

"what do you mean? Even though we are 'engaged', father came here to engage engage us, you know?"

"what's that supposed to mean?" I asked.

She sighed. "it means we're not actually engaged, yet. It was only in name, for the past fourteen to sixteen years."

"ah, so I still have a shot at breaking this marriage?"

"what, did you fall for some bitch, or what?"

"nope. I just have no plans on getting married. Ever."

"I see... well, luckily for you, I don't plan on getting married, either. But unlike you, I'm straying onto the path of debauchery, if you know what I mean."

"you're going to become a slut?"

"how rude. Even it's true, you shouldn't say it like that! Who knows what father will do when he realizes my goal in life is to engage in unsupervised sexual acts."

"let me give you a tour of the town as an apology... though it will have to wait for later." he said, seeing the bastards in his courtyard, yet again.

I walked over to the former trio, current duo, who evolved into Wu, glaring at me. The former middle and current youngest appeared to be the youngest in the Wu. He was also the one with the most sense, as he was covering behind the most Wu of the Wu.

(Wu as in five, and Wu as in warrior(s)/warrior like)

"the young master strolled into his court, only to see Wu Wu, threatening to kill him and his future wife!" he declared, raising his hands.

"the young master, in fear of death, and with the pride of his future wife, attacked the Wu to ensure his safety. Unfortunately, his hand was cut with the blade of one of the Wu..." he grinned. "the tallest Wu's knife, if I remember correctly, was the one that cut me."

"his wife, enraged by this sudden provocation from the Wu bastards screamed like a siren and alerted the guards."

"what you think of that story?" he asked the Wu and Yi.

(Yi as in one, and Ruan Gao)

"uh... I don't get it?" she replied.

The Wu, who unfortunately grew up learning to fear Pangzi, gritted their teeth and clenched their fists.

The eldest stepped forward and took out his knife. He beat himself up and threw the knife at Pangzi, in a way he could catch it with no injury. Pangzi approached the eldest and slit his throat.

Ruan Gao decided not to engage in other's family matters. After all, as long as her engagement with Pangzi was unconfirmed, she was an outsider.

Seeing as she was in a moment of pause, the newly ordained Wu, or rather, Si, stepped forward.

He too, like the former Wu, beat himself and knocked out a few teeth. Before Pangzi raised his hand, the boy was almost dead in a pool of his own blood due to self-harm.

"the Si, going crazy from the Wu's death beat himself to death and died in a pool of blood~" he said, stepping on the head of the now collapsed Si.

San, who was not very keen on death gave a good beating and kicking to Er, Si's cousin.

"San had always been in love with Si, who never saw his love for her. As a result, he went mad from Si's death and killed Er, Si's underground lover, in a crazed frenzy."

"upholding justice within the Commander's mansion, the princess of our Shensheng Diguo, Qianzai Qingrai killed San, who threatened world peace." he completed.

What a truly horrifying tale... haha.

6/24.

Two from before. Wu, Si, Er and San from here. Btw, he doesn't know their names.

Yi: 1, Er: 2, San, Si, Wu...

Btw, Pangzi doesn't know the bastard's names. He just calls them by date of birth or age. Hao Er San Si Wu is one to five, respectively. The king's name means 'useless' and the princess is 'potential lover'. Bastard is a child born out of wedlock, or an illegitimate child. That being the reason he calls them bastards. Accidents along the way are unmentioned murders by Pangzi, and the 5 natural are who he killed as of now. One drowning and the other four in this bloodbath. THIS CAPS LOCK TEXT IS HERE TO ATTRACT YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS VERY IMPORTANT AUTHOR NOTE! I SWEAR THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR CONTEXT AND NOT ONLY FOR TELLING YOU I DON'T CALL EVERYONE I MEET 'BASTARD'.
