NICO'S POV
A bright smile curved on my lips as I reminisce on my conversation with Aris.
"I'm not going to repeat myself so listen carefully" she had said and my heart immediately skipped a beat.
I thought he was about to cut things off with me completely or probably give me a last warning on something.
I had even thought I had done something wrong to annoy her that made her say something like that sounding all serious and I could sense a bit of anger too in her voice.
My mind had run far with my heart beating faster than normal when I heard those cold words.
What did I do this time ? Why does she sounds this serious ? Is she perhaps angry with me ? Why is she angry ?
This questions flooded my mine as I heard her speak, but turns out I was just worried over nothing.
She had only wanted to invite me over for dinner and I had thought she was done with me for sure.
