"Kid...what are you doing here?" scott asked in a not so surprised look.

'Now on my rule'' Vera thought to her herself, smiling inwardly.

"Maybe my offer is still vacant mister scott!" Vera said, looking like a business lady ready to sign a contract deal.

"Hmm..Interesting!" He rubbed his chin lightly, swindling left and right on his chair, contemplating her offer.

"I never knew kids could make an offer in the business world"

"That's why you shouldn't underestimate their capabilities" He stared at her nodding in affirmative "Maybe so" scott said turning back to his cold self. He leaned forward with his two intertwined hands on his lap.

"What are you here for?" he asked.

"Am here for the both. Both on the job and on my offer" Vera said.

He looked at her in astonishment "So kid, are you really sure about this?" he asked, smirking widely. He looked like a daredevil, planning to lure a pure soul into temptation.

She smiled "I am sure mister scott. Just give me a chance and I wouldn't disappoint you" Vera nodded.Truth being told, is she really sure about this? She hasn't settle down to think about the risk but she was more focused on the benefits that comes by.

"Very good then.." he commented.

"..but remember, hell is not a playground place for a kid like you. If you are going to do this against your will, I advice you to take a turn back..."

"No need mister scott. Hell is not a new thing for me cause I have been there before" vera said with a livid face.

"Are you sure?" he asked again, giving her a questioning look.

"Down to earth hell is different from the real hell my dear...are you willing to test it?" he asked with a raised brow and his lips curved up into a smile.

"Only time can tell" she simply said.

"Very impressive!.." he said as his face darkened a bit before nodding in interest.

"You were right when you said I am desperate, so I am aware that you know my rules, kid" he said looking at the open window as his gaze fixed outside the view of the busy city.

"Does this mean it is a yes?" Vera asked with a bright face.

"No, it is a test...it depends on if you fail or succeed" He explained briefly.

"So what is the test all about?" vera said with a sigh.

"You should be asking what the punishment is for failing kid...as it won't be as funny and sweet like the little one you have tested before" He said with with an evil grin, looking at the bold girl before him.

"Punishments are never either sweet nor funny, there are punishments" Vera explained.

"Punishments for pure innocent soul are not always to be referred to as punishments, do you know what it is called?" He asked as he received a silence in response.

"It is a death sentence, signed by a selfish being for a selfish purpose"

"My offer is not selfish mister scott, it is comes with a benefit"

"Neither is it worth it kid...go back home and think about it. You won't like to face a devil in reality, would you?" he asked as he pushed a document at her front.

"Those are the required things you need for this post. You have to sign and agree to the terms of this job" He said, as vera grabbed the file, flipping the pages.

"Alright mister scott...I will give this to my lawyer and get back to you" vera said, standing up.

"Um...mister scott?" vera called, looking at the man who just opened his computer.

"Hmm?"

"About my offer...when will my test start?"
