Contract Agreement.

Cyrus found himself outside the gate, alongside several other players who had also been transported out. The players were all bewildered and unsure of why they were outside until they noticed the man they had sacrificed. This realization left everyone confused and puzzled.

One player exclaimed, "Hey, wasn't he supposed to be sacrificed to the boss? How did he survive?"

Another player chimed in, "No way! Did he actually survive and defeat the boss on his own?"

The group was stunned by the unexpected turn of events and struggled to make sense of what had happened.

"YOU!" said a man with a heavy and angry voice.

"HOW THE HELL DID YOU SURVIVE AND KILL THE BOSS ON YOUR OWN! WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TO DIE FOR 8 HOURS!"

A man with a deep and furious voice confronted Cyrus, pointing a finger at him.

'Brutus...'

"How on earth did you manage to survive and defeat the boss all by yourself?" he bellowed. "We've been waiting for you to perish for a staggering eight hours!"

The man's anger was palpable, and it was clear that the group had been waiting for this individual's failure for a long time. The unexpected survival and success of Cyrus had left everyone surprised and questioning how it had been possible.

"You-"

As Cyrus was getting ready to respond to Brutus's accusation, a sudden commotion drew his attention to a group of people who had just arrived. It was Clout's party, Aurora, and her grandfather, who had organized the event, accompanied by a crowd of reporters brandishing cameras and microphones.

The unexpected arrival of the group and the presence of the media heightened the tension in the already charged atmosphere.

"Grandfather, it's him! He stole the boss kill from me!" Aurora exclaimed, pointing at Cyrus.

"Huh?" Cyrus was taken aback by the unexpected accusation.

"How dare you steal someone else's accomplishment!" shouted the old man.

Cyrus couldn't help but burst into laughter at the absurdity of the situation. Despite the seriousness of the accusations leveled against him, Cyrus found the current scene laughable and ridiculous. His laughter caught everyone off guard, leaving them unsure of how to react.

Cyrus's laughter subsided as he began to defend himself against the accusations. He looked at Aurora's grandfather and spoke with a confident tone, "How did I steal her accomplishment when I was the only one inside the boss room? Aurora and the other players chose me, a lone player, to be the final sacrifice to open the boss's room. I fought and survived with all my might, and for what? To be branded a thief and a fraud?"

Cyrus's words were met with murmurs of agreement from the other players present, and he gestured towards them, "Everyone here can be a witness. My name was announced as the clear winner of this gate in front of everyone's eyes!"

The old man looked around at all the players present and spoke with a menacing tone, "Who among you is willing to approve of this man's words?"

The question hung heavy in the air, and for a moment, nobody spoke. The tension in the room was palpable as everyone looked at each other, unsure of how to respond. Who was the man asking the question? He was an elder of the Gold family, a power house that could easily dispose of them if they were to go against them.

Everyone knew the consequences of going against the Gold family could be severe, and it was a risk that nobody was willing to take. The situation seemed dire, and it looked like Cyrus would be left to face the accusations alone.

The elder of the Gold family looked at Cyrus with a skeptical expression and spoke with a dismissive tone, "Hmmm, from the looks of it, your words do not seem to hold up."

The old man turned towards the group of reporters who were still present and called out to them, "Everyone from the media! As you can see, this young man has stolen my dear granddaughter's achievement, trying to claim it for his own!"

The reporters immediately began to take photos and record the scene, capturing Cyrus's and Aurora's grandfather's faces in the same frame. It was clear that the elder of the Gold family was trying to use the media to sway public opinion against Cyrus while improving their own self serving justice propaganda.

Cyrus turned to Aurora and asked her directly, "Okay, it's easy to prove who the true liar is between us. Aurora, did I kill the boss on my own without anyone's help?"

"Of course no-!"

[Contractual Agreement is in effect!]

[Failure to comply with the agreement will result in dire consequences, Including the deletion of the non-compliance party's Awakened Ability.]

Before Aurora could deny Cyrus's words, a sudden window appeared in front of all the parties involved, displaying the contractual agreement they had agreed to. The window included Cyrus, Aurora, and Clout's party members. The sudden realization abruptly halted Aurora from saying anything further as she looked at Clout and the party members with a worried and stressed expression.

The window displayed the terms of the agreement that all parties had to agree upon before participating in the event. The terms clearly stated that any player who successfully defeated the boss would be declared the winner, and that denying the fact would result in not complying with the contracts statement.

"So? I'm waiting for an answer." Said Cyrus with a smile in his face.

"Y-You..."

The players and reporters watching the scene were puzzled as to why Aurora did not answer a simple question. The elder of the Gold family tried to interject, stating that no one would question a member of the Gold family, and that everyone present denied Cyrus's claims.

Cyrus remained calm and composed and responded with a sarcastic tone, "Well, I guess there's nothing else I can do to defend myself. The reward for being falsely accused does seem tempting now that I think about it. Isn't that right, Miss Aurora? But I'll just accept the outcome and leave."

With that, Cyrus turned around and slowly walked away, leaving everyone present stunned and speechless. As he walked away, he could hear the murmurs of a certain player.

"i will say it..."

"I'm sorry? I couldn't hear you properly," he said, his voice laced with a hint of mockery.

"I-I will say it..."

"How about the other contracted, keep in mind that all party's must do it if you wish for the contract to be terminated."

Aurora turned to Clout and his party members, unsure of what to do. After a moment of hesitation, they all approached Cyrus and stood next to Aurora. They looked angry and humiliated, and their expressions betrayed their reluctance to acknowledge Cyrus demands.

As Aurora and her party fell to the ground in a gesture of defeat, the players and reporters present were confused by their actions. A reporter even voiced their confusion by asking, "Huh? What are they doing?" The old man in charge of the event was also puzzled by their behavior and demanded, "What are you doing? Get up right now!"

"Excellent. Now, speak the words we agreed upon with all your might so that everyone present can hear you," Cyrus said.

The group of individuals standing before Cyrus spoke in unison, their voices shaking with anger and humiliation. "We're sorry for being so useless," they whispered.

Cyrus, who was standing close to them, didn't hear what they said and pointed out that everyone else present might not have heard them either. He reminded them that the contractual agreement would not be terminated until they said it out loud, as specified in the contract.

"W-WE'RE SORRY FOR BEING SO USELESS!" said the individuals together

"W-WHAT ARE YOU SAYING!" Said the old man.

"I-IT'S A SCOOP!" a reporter yelled out that they had a scoop and began taking pictures and recording videos. Followed by the other reporters who joined.

"HAHAHA!" Cyrus, meanwhile, couldn't contain his amusement and began laughing maniacally

"Ha~, that felt amazing. Now, bring me to your vault so I can pick the promised reward."
