19 Dinner

"I want money to invest in some companies that will rise and have these types of products that are useful in viruses and other things are useful in daily life so we can have a passive income," He said as he told her his plan and showed some companies.

He took a pause and look at his Mom and give her some time to digest the information he have given her so far.

"Can you tell me more about this virus since you have done so much research on this?" She asked.

He nodded his head and change the slide "This is all I know about this virus Like I said this started in China in Dec 2019 so it's called covid-19. it is slowly spreading all over the world. it's like flu, It causes fever, cold and headache it's common...." And keep explaining about covid for 10 whole mins and "That is why you should be careful while going out, now about my investment, I have shown you all the plans and how can i invest and how much I have done all study about it so you do not have to worry about it"

"If what you say is true then it will be a hard time, Now about your plan on investing I am willing to help you but I can't give you 10k since this is your first time investing and you know that this virus might cause a lockdown in Country C too like other countries so we might need money in future if your plan doesn't work," She told him her decision.

Evans sighed inwardly ' I knew Mom won't give me a big amount the first time I ask that's why I asked for 10k Mom at least give me 5000 to 8000'

"Mom I know that it's my first time so you don't believe me but I know I can do it but you dint have to give me 10000, even less will do but it will take time to see the actual result," Evans told her like he knows it will be hard for him to do it.

"Alright I was going to give you some money after talking with Jane in the evening since it was the first time you asked me after a long time but after seeing how prepared you were and the hard work you have done I will give you some more" She took out some notes from her pockets and give him "I will transfer the rest in your account in the morning"

Evans took the money and just put them in his wallet and hugged his mother "Thank you Mom you are the best" he shouted like a small kid.

She hugged him back and pats his head "You do not have to worry about Money making, I am here for that and Jane will start earning in the next years, you and Ava just focus on your studies and enjoy, While I and Jane will take care of you" she just wanted her kids to live freely and don't worry about anything and enjoy their lives.

"I know but I just want to help you. plus I will be 18 in a couple of weeks and since I am the only man in the family I want to give you and sisters the best I can." Evans claimed proudly.

"Yes yes, you are the Man of the house," Miya said sarcastically and laughed

"Just wait and I will show you in a few weeks," Evans said with a confident smile on his face.

"You know just now you reminded me of your father he was like this when we first met," His mother said in low voice.

"Mom, do you still Dad?" he asked.

"Sometimes I miss him just like now"

"Mom why don't you try online dating stuff, I am sure it will help you," Evans said

"Nah I am not interested in that it's for young people like you not an old lady like me"

"Oh Mom you aren't old yet and you are very beautiful if you and Ava go out people might mistake you for her sister," he said making her blush but she recover almost instantly

"Now young man do you want to make fun of me, hm?" she gave him a glare

Seeing her glare all hair on his body stands up and a shiver ran down his spine "Nn..nnoo I was just saying it"

"Realy?"

"Yes" he nods and took out his phone "Look it's getting late let's have dinner"

she looks at the time on the phone and then nodded "Hmm it's getting late"

"let's go then" She picks up her Laptop and stands up and left the room.

He also stand up and left the room.

Since it was getting late there was no one in the living room as Jane and Ava already retired to their bed. It took him more than an hour to discuss everything.

Jane and Ava already put their dinner on the plates and left it on the table for them.

Evans saw his mom already sitting on the table and taking off the covers from the dishes.

He went and took his seat in front of her, he always sits in this seat and looks at the food on the table "Wow they cook a lot" There are a lot of dishes on the table.

"Hmm they really did cook a lot or they left us a lot," His mother said and she started eating.

Evans also start eating with a smile on his face which Miya didn't notice and continued eating.

Evans looks at his mother and activates his eyes

"This taste nice, Ava and big sis can cook well together"

"Hmm they are learning well, Ava told me you also want to start cooking, is it true?" She asked.

"Mom, I want to go out tomorrow I will be late," Evans asked for permission because Miya doesn't let them go out at night.

"Alright but you have to be careful and call me if anything happens"

"Yes I will," He said excitedly.

As dinner goes on Miya's face had a shade of redness but it was not much still Evans saw it.

"Mom are you okay", your face is red," He asked in a concerned voice using his acting skill.

Miya panicked hearing her son's question, she can't say that she is feeling horny in front of her son at the dinner table, "Yeah I am good it's just heated from the food that all" she starts eating quickly not wanting to get embarrassed in front of her son.

By the time dinner ended the redness on her face become more and more visible.

"It's getting late I will wash the dishes in the morning let's go back to bed," Miya said as she picks up the empty dishes and went to the kitchen.

Evans knew that if he push his luck anymore then his plan will fail, so he decide to go back to the room after his mom comes out of the kitchen.

Soon Miya come out of the kitchen and she saw he didn't even move from his seat "Why are you seating there like this, hurry and go to sleep"

"I was just going, Goodnight Mom" Evans stand up and left for his room.

"Goodnight" Miya replied and she also went back to her room quickly.
