21 Training and Techniques

It has been a week since 'The Lightning Thief' happened and Lucifer was really excited in training Percy and Annabeth. Well, Death was going to teach Annabeth but it was mostly a collab from the two. Remembering that a week had already passed since he had been to Olympus, Lucifer quickly dispelled the Hellfire inside of Artemis so that Zeus or any of the Olympians won't annoy him.

He then sat on the bed and looked at Death who was laying down naked and looking at him sexily. Lucifer deadpanned at her and said, "We just had sex, for the whole night, and you want another round?" Death cutely nodded at him and said, "It wasn't enough, Lucy."

Lucifer sighed at her and said, "I would love to continue what we were doing dear but the demigods are waiting for us." Death rolled her eyes at him and said, "Well screw them! You can fuck me now," and proceeded to spread her legs.

Lucifer looked at her hungrily but shook it off, "You promised the smarter child that you were going to train her. And I promised to myself that I was going to torture that Sea Spawn after a week of waiting."

Death looked at him exasperatedly and said, "Can you please tell me why I decided to train the daughter of Athena?"

Lucifer smirked at her and teasingly said, "Well, because you told Percy and I that you wanted an apprentice of your own when Annie was with us!" Then deadpanned and said, "And you were quite annoyed by the little creature's begging to be her teacher."

Death looked at him like she had an epiphany and said, "Oh yeah! Forgot about that. Lucky I didn't kill the child for her persistence."

Lucifer shook his head in amusement and made his ever-present suit to appear on his body. He then looked at Death naked form and walked over to her and pecked her lips and made her wear casual clothes with his magic.

Seeing that she was already wearing the camp's orange t-shirt, jeans, and combat boots, Death just sighed and stood up. She then walked towards the door and called for Lucifer, "Well then, let's go!"

Lucifer looked at Death in surprise and quickly followed her. But before they could even exit the door, Death stopped dead in her tracks and looked at Lucifer's clothes and said, "Why are you wearing a tux?"

Lucifer looked at her incredulously and said, "I always wear my tux!" Death deadpanned at him and said, "Change. NOW." Lucifer looked adamant at that and said, "But-" and got off by Death saying, "I don't care about your excuses! Change. Now. You always wear that tux, so go and change into casual ones."

Lucifer looked at her in defeat and changed into a Nike sleeveless undershirt, an Addidas jogger, and crocs. Lucifer looked at Death smugly and said, "There! Now can we go now?" Death scanned his clothes and tried to sense if there was any illusion on it by couldn't sense any so she just shrugged it off and continued walking towards the forest with Lucifer in tow.

After a few minutes of walking towards the forest, the Morningstars finally arrived at where they were supposed to meet the two kids and saw both of them impatiently waiting for them.

When they finally arrived in front of them, Percy immediately shouted at Lucifer, "Where have you two been!? We have been waiting for both of you from 4 o'clock in the morning and it's already 6!! You told us to come here at 4 o'clock sharp or there will be consequences and you two are the ones to arrive late!"

Lucifer just smiled at Percy and saw Percy as a chibi version of himself shouting at him and couldn't help but be amused. He just shook his head while chuckling and patted Percy's head, "Calm your horses Perseus. Death and I were late because we were doing something very important."

Annabeth looked at them like she wasn't believing a word that he was saying and said, "Oh yeah? Then what were you doing?" and crossed her arms.

Death smiled at her amusingly and said, "Just know that it was very important and that we couldn't stop what we were doing just for the two of you Annie."

Annabeth glared at her and shouted, "Don't call me Annie!" but was promptly ignored by the adults.

Lucifer then patted Percy on the shoulder and cheerfully said, "Well now that we're here, I now dub you, Perseus Jackson, as my most glorious apprentice!"

And after saying those words, Lucifer then saw a blue box floating in front of him, saying that if he continued what he was doing then Lucifer was going to change Percy's destiny. Lucifer read the message over and over again and said, "Well this is going to be bloody interesting!"

Death looked at his direction and gave him a questioning gaze and said, "What's the problem, Lucy?" Lucifer looked at her in excitement and said, "I completely forgot about two things that can help us!"

She then gave him a confused gaze and telepathically said, 'What do you mean by that?' and Lucifer cheerfully replied, 'Two words; System and Library.' Death looked at him and shock and replied back, 'Why haven't we ever used those things for the past couple of years? That could have helped us grow stronger now that I think about it.'

Lucifer looked quite embarrassed to answer her but still replied, 'Well I kind of forgot that I had these two and that I could have used the Library by buying techniques and skills from the system.' Death then literally facepalmed at his words and replied, 'You're a dumbass, you know that?'

While all this was happening to the two, both their students were looking at them like they were crazy and were contemplating that if being their students was really a good idea. Percy suddenly blurted out, "So what the Hell are we doing here then!? Have a starting contest?!"

Lucifer and Death then looked at Percy, who looked quite embarrassed after being slapped on the head by Annabeth and chuckled. Lucifer then said amusingly, "Kid, we were talking about your training. We weren't having a staring contest or anything."

Percy looked at him funnily and said, "Huh? How can you have a conversation when you two weren't even talking!?" Annabeth then thought long and hard about what they said and let out a shocked, "Telepathy."

Death smirked at them and said, "Correct! We will be either teaching you how to talk in telepathy or giving you the power to it," and looked pointed at Lucifer.

Lucifer deadpanned at her and looked at their students and saw stars in their eyes. He sweatdropped at them and sighed, "Fine, I'll give them those IF they get more powerful than my expectation after summer."

Percy raised an eyebrow at that and said, "Huh? Then can you tell us how strong we have to be for us to get that? while Annabeth nodded at his words.

Lucifer smirked at them and said, "I won't you squat so that your brains can imagine how strong I want you two to be." He then walked away from them and stopped in a clearing.

The three then followed Lucifer to the clearing and stopped in front of him. Lucifer then looked at Percy and Annabeth with an evil smile on his face and said, "Well then, it seems that we are going to start your training now Percy."

Percy looked at him and gulped while Annabeth didn't feel anything about his smile due to her teacher being Death. Seeing the scared look on Percy's face, Lucifer felt satisfied, and cruelly said, "Now run around the clearing a thousand times."

Percy looked horrified at what he said and looked around the clearing and noticed that it was around the size of an Olympic field! He was sure as Hell that the camp didn't have a field the same size as this!

Seeing his look, Lucifer chuckled and remembered that he had to move a couple of hundred trees just to have this big ass clearing. Lucifer then glared at him, when he saw that Percy wasn't moving and growled, "Move your ass!"

Percy immediately ran around the clearing the moment he saw Lucifer's glare. Annabeth chuckled as she saw Percy get scared and run around the field after he saw Lucifer's glare but paled when she heard, "You should start running too, Annie. But your rounds stop after 500 so don't get too worked up."

After Percy and Annabeth started running, Lucifer smirked at their faces and looked at Death, "Why don't I weight them down to two times the Earth's gravity?" Death looked at him with a raised eyebrow and said, "That seems like a good idea. Go on and do it then."

Lucifer smiled at her and started to weigh down their apprentices and noticed them started slowing down in their jog and had a hard time breathing. Lucifer scoffed at their weak bodies and said, "It's just two times the Earth's gravity! And you two can't endure it!? Forget about getting that telepathy power that you two want!"

Hearing his words, Percy roared and sped up and persevered on his run while Annabeth didn't do anything dramatic but still sped up. Death smiled at Annabeth and looked at Lucifer with a mocking gaze, "It seems that my apprentice isn't dramatic like yours."

Lucifer just ignored her and opened the tab for his system's store and started scrolling down through the list of powers that he could buy for the two, even techniques for all of them.

He then saw Blood Manipulation, Ice Manipulation, and Blood Magic for Percy and Enhanced Assassination, Supernatural Assassination, and Absolute Assassination for Annabeth. He knew that the powers that he picked for Annabeth were one and the same but he couldn't decide what other powers she should have.

He then switched to the technique tab and saw a bunch of techniques that could go quite well with Percy's powers and swordsmanship but only saw a few of them. He then saw a bunch of techniques for assassins that he wants Annabeth to have and smiled devilishly.

Seeing that Lucifer was preoccupied, Death wandered around the clearing and sat on a spot that she could everyone from. When Lucifer smiled, Death raised an eyebrow at him and teleported him beside her.

Noticing that his surroundings were changed and that he wasn't standing anymore, Lucifer chuckled at Death and said, "To what do I owe the pleasure of being teleported beside you, dear?"

Death rolled her eyes at him and said in an annoyed voice, "Are you going to tell me the techniques that you found for my apprentice or what?"

Lucifer smiled at her and said, "Patience honey. We don't want you to have any wrinkles do we?"

Death scowled at him and said, "Did you finally go insane? I can't have wrinkles, you dimwit."

Lucifer's smiled increased even more and said amusingly, "I know that. It's just fun to mess around with you," and got hit on the head after saying that.

Seeing that Death wasn't in the mood to joke around, Lucifer quickly looked at her seriously and listed the names of the techniques that he planned for Annabeth to have and what uses they had. But Death seemed to not be satisfied with what he said, so he continued on to the techniques Percy was going to have but could still see Death's unsatisfied face.

Seeing her face, Lucifer was growing more confused by the second, "What more do you want!? I already told you what I planned for your apprentice and what I planned for MY apprentice!! Is that not still good enough for you?!"

Death now looked angry at him and bonked him hard on the head and said, "Did you forget about us!?! What about techniques for us!?"

Lucifer made an 'Ohhhhhhh' face and said, "Huh, didn't quite think about that. Let me look around for techniques that we could use."

Death scowled at him and said, "Do it faster. I want to use one of those cultivation techniques to see if it's up there or anything."

By her words, Lucifer looked at her funnily and said, "How do you know of that and why do you want one of those?"

Death raised an eyebrow at him and said, "What? Did you think that I spent all my time with you in my home universe? I used the internet as a person too you know, and I got quite fond of those Cultivation Novels due to how much death and carnage it caused."

Lucifer looked surprised at her words and raised his eyebrows, "What!? I didn't know that you like those things!"

Death rolled her eyes again and said, "Just because it has been a million years since I stopped doing all those things, doesn't mean I stopped liking what I was doing."

Lucifer scratched the back of his head and nervously said, "Honey, please chill out! Okay, okay, I admit I was wrong. Happy?"

She then nodded at him and waited for him to continue talking about the Cultivation Techniques that she was expecting. After a few minutes, Lucifer finally looked back at her and listed all the possible techniques for her but her only reply was, "Compile."

Lucifer made a 'Meh' face and did what she said and was given a book that had no title or clear information to him. Thinking that it was just junk now, Lucifer wanted to throw it away but was stopped by Death due to her wanting to see it before it got thrown away.

After transferring the book from his Library to Death's mind, Lucifer looked at Death expectantly and after a few minutes, Death looked at him like he was crazy and said, "What do you mean by junk? The knowledge you passed on to me has such profound knowledge that I think I need a couple of years to comprehend all of it."

Lucifer looked quite shocked at this but shrugged it off, thinking that only Death could read the book that was compiled by his Library. He then started to look through all the devilish techniques known in the Cultivation Worlds.

After buying devilish and demonic techniques, he then started to compile all the books into two books. One for the soul or the spirit and the other for the body. He knew that his body was invulnerable already but he had no idea what other things to compile the books into.

Although he compiled many books into those two, he still had quite a number of books in his Library that he was sure that he was going to compile into a couple of days, weeks, months, or years from now.

He then looked at the two books that he had and noticed that the soul technique had a black cover and that the body technique had a red cover. He then scanned through the two and decided to name the black book; The Unholy Soul Technique and the red book; The Devil's Invulnerable Body Technique.

Lucifer knew that those names were kind of had a chunni vibe to it but he didn't care. He then remembered the two other books in his Library that were specifically compiled for Percy and Annabeth and started to look at it.

After reading through the books, he decided to name the techniques; The Raging Water God's Technique and The Assassin's Absolute Technique. He knew that if Poseidon ever read the contents of The Raging Water God's Technique then he would be drooling on the floor already and that The Assassin's Absolute Technique is to die for if you were an assassin.

Looking at the collapsed figures of Percy and Annabeth in the distance, Lucifer just chuckled and produced a watch and read the time. After seeing that it was already 12, Lucifer grabbed Death by the hand and teleported beside their apprentices.

He then said to the heaving forms of Percy and Annabeth, "Wow! I didn't expect that the two of you would continue running until noon! So how many laps did you two accomplish?"

Percy wheezed out a "Th....ou.....sa...nd," while Annabeth whispered a "Five hundred."

Lucifer and Death looked quite impressed at their will to complete their task so Lucifer decided to help recover the two of them. After the sudden feeling of what felt like a warm energy flow through them, Percy and Annabeth looked at each other in astonishment.

Seeing their surprised looks, Lucifer and Death just chuckled at them and Lucifer said, "Death and I will be training you two to the ground so that your bodies can prepare for the techniques and powers that I'm going to give the two of you."

Percy and Annabeth looked quite scared at what he said, but when he mentioned the words 'giving' and 'powers', both of them then had fire appear in their eyes and a newfound determination started appearing inside their heads.

Seeing their looks, Death chuckled and said, "Don't get too excited you two. But remember what Lucy earlier, okay? You have to surpass the expectation we have on both of you during the summer so that we will give those powers."

Percy then vigorously nodded his head while Annabeth seemed quite excited at what she said but didn't exaggerate her nod like Percy.

Seeing them agree to those terms, Lucifer happily smiled at them and said, "Well then! Why don't we go to the Dining Hall because the two of you must be starving!"

Percy looked very eager at the moment and shouted, "Yes! Food! Finally!!" But got slapped by Annabeth on the head.

He half-heartedly glared at Annabeth while holding his 'injured' head and wanted to say something but got beat to the punch, "Stop being overdramatic, Seaweed Brain."

Death looked at the two of them fondly until Lucifer ruined the moment by saying, "Okay, okay! We know that you two want you lovey-dovey moment with your partner but there are people who are hungry here! Mainly me."

Percy and Annabeth blushed at his words and opened their mouth to say something but couldn't as Lucifer wrapped his right arm around the shoulders of Annabeth and Percy while his other arm was wrapped around the waist of Death and quickly teleported out of there.
