The Gods (Part 1)

Aaron was slowly figuring out the situation,still not totally accepting it. Altough a basic explanation was given to him by that entity it was still too little information to actually start planning, so he stopped in his tracks and started thinking and pondering, he had 3 months, and it was no little time. He could think without having to be fast, so he started by these "systems".

Everyone had them,but he had to create one himself, maybe it was to test his capabilities and his thinking, he was sure that even if he worked hundreds of years trying to program his own system he couldn't do that, so he decided that he would have used a certain amounts of those helps to do a super system,and use the remaining to create a new race,a new body and hopefully some kind of tools that would facilitate his programming.

'The process should be instantenous so in the remaining time before the transport to that world I can get some training with the system I will create and possibly train my body too while asking questions to the godlike entity'

The second thing he needed to have much more information about is the unknown voice in this space that introduced him to that world, it was rather cold but indifferent and at the same time every second that passed it seemed more and more aggressive. He figured by doing some tests that it was some kind of genie for questions that answered everything, but every time that 'thing' answered it excluded a every time more powerful chilling aura so Aaron decided that he would try to not ask him questions if not necessary.

He figured by asking him some questions that the systems given at birth were rudimental if confronted by systems of superior beings like gods or things like that.

He got A LOOOT of information but the previously tickling chilling aura that he felt was now almost capable of crushing all of his bones,but fortunately he did not have a body at the moment so the only damage that he could have was PERMANENT damage at the soul.

There were 3 things in the normal systems: stats,skills and titles.

There were five stats that could be trained in different methods:Strength,Defence,Vitality,Agility,Magic.

The first three stats could be trained by exercises,agility by moving and doing some kind of jumps and stunts and magic by practicing with "mana" (the flow of energy that permits magic to exist). Magic is quite rare and it's impossible to practice it without having the initial controlling root on our soul, some kind of thing that permits living beings to control the flow of mana.To see if one has the capability of using mana is pretty simple,you just have to see if your magic stat is at least one,if it's zero then there's nothing to do,you're doomed to not be a magician.

There exist,too, the Stats Crystals. These crystals can be found in mana dense zones,precisely in mines of these zones and by absorbing their essence one's stats increase by a quite good leap,unfortunately even this can't give someone the power to use magic and in any case,these objects are available only to powerful and rich figures of Eden.

But don't think it's easy retrieving these things, in mana dense zones it's not easy using magic and it's extremely difficult to breathe because the mana usually trasforms into thick fog or extreme storms and tempests,and in any case in the mana dense zones there are powerful monsters and usually Land lords,who are monsters so powerful and intelligent that control every single monster of the zone as an army,marking it as its own little kingdom.

Also,abusing these crystals would corrupt the soul of the being and slowly transforming it into a berserk mindless monster,so they are usually used in desperate cases and in war.

Aaron also discovered that not all questions will be answered by Jerky(yes,he named it like that), like one time he asked who gives the rudimental Eden System to the newborns.

[The one who gifts system to the newborns is the root of all evil,strengthened by every single bad action and emotion, the chaotic energy or as the mortals call it "cursed mana".]

"And what is exactly this chaotic energy?" Aaron pondered for a moment before asking out.

[This question cannot be answered]

... ? If Aaron had a face right now,he would look completely dumbfounded. He asked again that question,but this time the reaction wasn't as gentle.

[WARNING! DO NOT ASK THIS AGAIN! This question cannot be answered] The aura that he renamed "Killing Intent" spreaded out like never before making Aaron go totally blank,making his little,dark and purple emitting soul become more weakened and restricting itself. Fortunately,Jerky stopped right after emitting it making so that no permanent damage was done and,contrarily,his soul strengthened and got bigger,denser and brighter.

'S*it! What the f*k was that? It never was this powerful before, just for repeating a question he released so much force? What the f*ck is his problem? I could have gotten permanent damage!'

Aaron slowly realised that these pseudogods too that were moving the strings were bastards like humans,so he noted to himself to get revenge one day and right after that decide what to do with the populations of Eden,obviously after studying them and their "overall personality".

The last things he discovered was that there were a LOOOT of types of magic for example time,space and gravity; that he had affinity with every single one of them; that Jerky was stabilizing this mini dimension for his soul to strengthen and so that until he was in this place, he was like an ant in the palm of a person. He was going to go on " soul standby mode ",as he called it,that was just sleeping that strengthened his soul by leaps and bounds when he heard the crushing and mechanical voice of Jerky echo in his ears yet again.

[Human, your time has been cut off to only one month due to your quick progression and thinking by superior beings. At the same time, you have been rewarded with other 4 develop-helps and a leaping strengthening of your soul,once you reincarnate on Eden,we will explain every time of ranking to you,so do not worry little ant]

Aaron did non have the time to be dumbstruck that he was attacked by a sensation of warmth that spreaded all over his soul getting it bigger,denser and brighter until it formed a humanoid body completely black that seemed out of stone with cracks that exuded purple blinding light. Just after this,he literally fainted,even if he was a freaking soul,he fainted.

" So that is the human that we are going to test on huh? His soul seems a lot abnormal,it will be a lot risky,are you sure? "

We are currently in a deserted and completely black room illuminated only by the moonlight, there were two figures talking,one completely inhuman while the other with a size that seemed from fairy tales.

The titanic figure only silently nodded before grinning in the shadows

" The gods of the Underworld will surely have interest in this human, so that we can have them at least do some duty some times and control him as their own experiment. In the end,it was their idea to send an abnormal soul from the other world here other than the heroes that got their body transported here too. This will be extremely interesting in the long run " With this last long phrase,the seemingly titanic figure walked away with a cruel smile plastered on his face.
