Library

Clara entered the library directly and was mesmerized seeing the interior of library. There's not a lot of people inside library. Clara guessed that because its still in the morning and people not even yet wake up. Clara approach a seated woman that wear glasses.

"Hi.." Clara greeted her

"Hello, may i help you?" As expected, the woman was a receptionist.

"Yes, this is my first time here. Do i just directly go inside? Or do i need to pay something?" Clara asked

"Oh.. You just need to pay 5 copper for institution fees. If you wish to borrow some book, you will need to pay more and you will get the copied version for a period of time." The receptionist replied politely.

"Do i need to return the copied book later?"

"You dont need to. You will get the copied version by magic. It will automically dissapear after some time."

"Wow. A magic?" Clara enthusiastically asked.

"Yes.. You must be suprised right? When i first worked here, i also shocked. Although there's a lot stories about magic and magician, i never seen the real one. So when i see that there is someone that can use magic in this place i was surprised." The receptionist begin narrate her first experience about magic after seeing the enthusiastic gaze from Clara.

"Is magic a common things in Haran?" Clara asked naively.

"Not really. From my years experience, i have only seen 3-4 things that involved magic. Its different from the Capital though. Someone said that in Capital you will see someone flying, someone spit out a fire, someone summon the rain and alot things like that."

"I was skeptical toward magic before. After i have seen it with my own eyes now i kinda worship it a little." The receptionist continued.

'From this woman narrative, magic can be considered as something that rare yet not so common either. When i was a child, my family heavily guarded me from the outside world, so that i only know about magic from some stories. Now i know there's alot extraordinary things in this world. I can't help but feel excited with that thought.'

"Ah.. I also want to see it. Can you take me to the person who copied the book later?" Clara asked with pleading eyes.

"Well.. Usually people only allowed to wait for the book get copied. But if you want to see the person behind that eagerly, i'll take you to him later." Seeing Clara pleading eyes that looks so pitiful, the receptionist finally agreed after a brief hesitation.

"Thank youu!!.." Clara exclaimed happily

"Here the 5 copper. I'll go to read some books first and find you later when i will borrow some books." With that Clara handed her 5 copper and waved bye toward the receptionist.

The receptionist only shook her head amused by her ethics.

While holding Kevin book in her right hand, Clara begin browsing toward bookshelf another after another. Seeing the magic category, Clara directly went over there and brought all the books. Clara back and forth bringing the books and placed it on her table.

Kevin seeing all of this can only sigh inside. After Clara seat herself tiredly, Kevin tries to talk to her about incident that happened in the Inn.
