Gigi woke up first the following morning and it took her a couple of seconds to realize whose arms were around her waist. It was almost like sleeping together was something that they had never stopped doing. She felt comfortable and like she was daydreaming. She soon realized she hadn't been scared of the dark at all during the whole night, Liz was her nightingale.
Gigi delicately slid away from Liz's arms only to slowly turn her body around and look at the beautiful girl sleeping next to her. Waking up before Liz just to watch her sleep was a common thing that she used to do when they were dating. Liz had always been a peaceful person, but she was the calmest and relaxed when she was asleep. Just to see how her chest would rose every time she inhaled and fall every time she exhaled made Gigi feel more serene.
