Chapter 23: Cheater
Liz was always labeled as the 'supportive friend' in every friend group she was in. It was not like the rest of the members weren't supportive enough or that being supportive was her only role, but she was known for making the other girls feel better every time they were feeling down or that they needed a little push. So, when Jayla called her crying her heart out that same morning, Liz did not even think it too much and just headed straight to her house. She knew exactly what Jayla needed and how to make her feel better.
She had no time to have breakfast or to even dress properly, not that she cared that much, and she ran out of her house to go to her friend's emotional rescue. She knew her mom wasn't home, she was probably working at the hospital, and her dad was also nowhere to be found so no one was going to ask her where she was going. And it did not matter anyway.
