POV: introduction

Hello there, my name is Kriston Dilan or Kris for short.

Before I was suddenly taken from my world and was transported to a new place filled with unbelievable possibilities and boringness, I was strolling down the beach near my house, when I found this shiny cool looking crystal.

I kept it with me and made sure nobody saw it, who knows? it might be worth millions!!

As the night started turning to dip, I made my way to get ready for sleep making sure that I have the crystal with me to ensure it's safety.

As I was having a nice sleep, I felt a shift of my body like I had just gotten myself transferred from one place to another.

POV: third person

Here in the world of Nadiya in a certain unknown island at the center of the pacific ocean a light had shown in which a person materialized.

"ugh, huh? Why does my bed feel grainy? ugh the sun is hitting me in the eye" as Kris is waking up and fully opening his eyes, "Wah! I'm at the beach? how did I get here?" Kris went to get up and survey his surroundings, when he looked back a little further inside a forest, he saw a gleaming blackish array of light.

Even though it's very suspicious to go towards the light, Kriston slowly walks towards it out of pure curiosity and helplessness.

As Kriston gets nearer, he sees a gigantic crystal of blackish color that seemingly is able to glow even with the absence of light.

"Wow, that looks almost like a magic crystal, is this what brought me here? Or is this just a dream and I'm in my mindscape? Either way, both options seem pretty cool!"

As Kriston observes and wanders around the crystal, after a moment, he decides to touch it.

"Welcome" Kriston was surprised and stood back.

"Woah! Who? What? Where?"

As Kriston looks around, he sets his eyes back into the crystal, he places his hand back onto its surface.

"You must be surprised, all this might have seems strange to you and thinking to yourself that this might be just a dream, but i can assure you it is not"

"Can this really even be possible? Like I'm freaking talking to a crystal, in an unknown island for humans sake, with no knowledge how i got here and how the heck did i not notice anyone moving me?!"

"Relax Kriston, no need to panic, we have all the time in the world to answer all your questions, how about we start by why you are here?"

"Ok, ok, so…. Why am I here then?"

"You are here through a lucky coincidence of you picking up one of my precious crystals born from a part of me, and for that, you are now chosen to be the future bearer of the dream god title, whose role is to create dreams for all to enjoy"

"Hehehe, really now? So, I pick up a shiny crystal as I stroll on the beach, and now I could someday become a god?"

"Yes, but that is not a certainty, you must persevere and be able to conquer the challenges of becoming a dream god, only those with the greatest of minds and the best of imaginations could ever be a dream god"

"Hmm, I see, but is that god you mention as a "thee?" God?"

"No, God is just a concept of faith born from the beliefs of the people, nothing more than a construct of the people created for the role of their intended purpose, the god I refer to is a being of great power in which could create anything and everything with the limit of once imagination, the power to create and destroy at will, of course that is only within the bounds of their own territory."

"I never knew God's were actually that kind of gods, but where could I possibly get the territory and the power to even become a god?"

"That is a good question, for the power that you will receive to become god is within me, for I am a dream guardian, we are born from a dream crystal with forms from the concentration of dream energy that links from all walks of life, anything and everything that could see, hear, think, is a source of dream energy that fuels our existence and allows us to create a dream dimension, in which anyone who dreams may access and control said dreams"

"From what I observe, are you going to let me gain access to my own dream dimension and become its god?!"

"Hehehe, yes, and no, i have brought you here on accounts, that the world I am in lacks the drive and imagination for greater worlds to be created, with such low quality dreams and dream energy being made, i have scattered a part of me through time and space, in hopes of someday finding someone who could bring me what I need, a dreamer who could create realities beyond the concept of this world"

"I can do it! For all my life, I had been detached from my world, stuck in my mind dreaming seemingly impossible things from everything I saw, with all the progress in my world that had given me resources for imagination, I shall bring you the realities that you so need! And someday become a god!"

"I like the enthusiasm, but first I shall only give you a trial run, here I will give you a crystal of moderate size and power for you to create your dream, all you have to do is to sink your consciousness to the crystal while holding it into your forehead, I do recommend for you to first lay down, there is also no need to worry about your body as there isn't really any creatures here that could harm you, all crystals have a link one way or another to me, and through me I shall share your world for all the others to see and gain access, don't worry though, for I will guard your dreams, from any dream eaters who wish to devour yours, I am the source after all"
