Chapter 1: "WHO ARE YOU?"

TJ's POV:

It's our Christmas Vacation starting today and this past few days was very tiring for me. Damn, who wouldn't be tired of the amount of school files we need to take care of this month, I was really stressed out in the past months.

"TJ get down here you're going to be late for school!", wait, what? did I hear it right?

'SCHOOL' that place where students go and aside from studying, they're just cheating. Just joking, but seriously, school? Is Mom crazy or something?

So I went down with confusion on my face. Why did Mommy mention 'school' when she knew it was our Christmas Vacation today! But when I went downstairs, I didn't see anyone, not even the maids, neither Mommy.

"Mom it's our Cristmas Vacation, did you forget!?", I said while looking for Mom, but no one answered.

"Mom where are you!?", I shouted but for the second time yet no one answered, I swear I heard it, it was mommy's voice.

"MOM!!!", I shouted at my last attempt.

I didn't really see anyone in the house, not even mommy or a maid but no one. I searched every corner of the house but not even one person came out. I tried calling someone but no one answered my calls. I knew it, I have a bad feeling about this.

I went out to go look for mom maybe she's just in our neighbors house,. Not until someone stopped in front of our house before I could get away from the gate. It's a Van and I saw the driver with his hat on. HAT ON? seriously who's a fool to wear a hat inside a car?

"Excuse me Sir are you looking for someone?", I asked him, because he kept on glancing at our house as if he's looking for someone.

"Nothing Miss", he sparingly answered while hiding his face with the hat.

"Actually Miss, we're here to get you", a woman said, I suddenly turned my back to find out who was speaking and I was surprised to see a woman pointing a gun at me.

"Who are you!? Can you put that gun down!",I said angrily, why Am I so unlucky today? I can't even find Mommy and now this?! I said earlier that if I could only see one person I'm already fine with it, but, Lord I said person not demons who knows how to drive and hold a gun.

"I don't need to answer that young lady, Roger move already", said the woman, the man in the car immediately got out.

I couldn't move because of the gun pointed at me as my knees were trembling. The man suddenly covered my mouth with a handkerchief, and I struggled as much as I can just to get myself out of his grip.

I inhaled the smell of the handkerchief and after a few minutes, I felt dizziness. I know they put chloroform in it so that I'd pass out. My eyes could no longer stay awake. I felt the man carried me into the Van and there, I lost consciousness.

"Where am I?", I asked as I found myself tied up in the ground. I tried to look around and I think I'm in an abandoned Building. I don't know what they are up to for bringing me here but I'm sure they have no good intentions.

"Ohh you're awake young lady, sorry for making you fall asleep earlier", the woman said, seriously even bitches knows how to apologize?

"Stop calling me young lady and untie this fucking rope!", I said angrily, I'm not even sure if it's actually a rope tied to my hand because my hand is in the back.

"What fucking rope?", she walks in front of me, "You mean this?", she held my hands and she showed me what was tied to it.

It was a snake. Wait, what?! A snake?! Oh my ghad, to all animals, except this woman, why snakes? it was not a snake tied to my hand but it was completely wrapped around my arm and I constantly felt shaking.

"Bitch get that thing off me!!", I shouted. I swear I hate this snake in my arm, but I hate the queen of snakes holding my arm more.

"Give us the codes we need, before I get this thing off you", the woman said.

Codes? That bitch is making a big mistake for bringing me here.

"What code?", I said, while looking at her in confusion.

"Stop talking nonsense young lady and give them to me!", she raised her voice, unlike earlier when she was more calm. I really don't know what she's talking about.

"Can you please let me go, I think you've got the wrong person" .

"You're Tiffany Jane Cruz, right?", she asked.

"Yeah that's me, so what?", I asked, slightly annoyed. She knows my name and yet calls me young lady, what a bitch.

"So it means we've got the right person, right here", she said as she pointed the gun on my head.

I'm still confused about what's going on but I only know one thing, I don't have the code that she's asking for.

But then, someone entered the door and it was Roger, the guy who was with the woman when we were in front of our house.

"Athena are you okay?",

the man said, he was probably not an accomplice of the one who kidnapped me because he looked around before entering.

"Athena??", I wondered asking, he slowly walked in front of me, he was wearing a mask and I can tell that he's the same age as me by looking at his physical appearance.

"Stop messing around Athena, let's go",he said, while approaching me.

"Who's Athena?", I asked.

"You're Athena, silly. So stop talking we need to get out of here", he said. The only thing in my mind right now is confusion.

"Be careful there's a snake there", I warned. Just now something went through my mind that the snake had been wrapped around my arm for a while but I hadn't been bitten yet.

"It's okay. I got by her earlier", It took me a few seconds before I realized what he was referring to. Is he serious?

"Haha. Just kidding. This snake is nothing compared to our situation right now", he said, well he's right those kidnappers are still worse than this snake.

He removed everything tied to me and we quickly left the room where I was locked up.

"Okay Thank you for letting me go but who's Athena? Who are you? What am I doing here?", I asked him with a serious look on my face.

"I'm Lance don't you remember? and I've already told you that you're Athena, so stop the interview we're still not safe here", he said and I had no choice to agree because we were still inside the abandoned Building.

"Where do you think you're going?", we both looked back at the same time and I saw the woman and the man who kidnapped me. They were accompanied by armed men.

"Going far away from you", Lance said as he pulled me behind him. I just noticed that he was holding my hand.

"Do you think you can escape here alive?", the woman said as she points the gun at us.

"Probably Yes, because I have this girl on my side and we're not allowed to die", Lance said and I looked at him.

"What do you mean by that?", I asked him confusingly while looking at him and he just nodded and looked back at me.

"What do you mean young man?", the woman asked the same question.

"All of you know that this girl here knows the codes but I know all of the informations about the companies and accounts", Lance said and he smirked as I was still behind him and confused.

"Maybe you're not allowed to die today but I'm sorry young man you can't go anywhere but here", said the woman, all of a sudden I heard a gunshot behind me.

I saw a guy behind me. Lance pulled the trigger of his gun at the opponent and suddenly pulled me away. The man who helped us was backed up by other armed people.

"Let's go!", Lance shouted, when suddenly someone pulled my hair.

I groaned in pain. It was the woman who kidnapped me earlier. As she pulled my hair harder, her gun was pointed at my head and Lance's gun was pointed at her.

"Let her go or else", Lance said in a threatening voice.

"Or else what? you're going to kill me?", the woman said with confidence and smirked. So annoying.

"I can kill you now if I want to so let her go!", Lance shouted, I don't know why he is so angry. Seriously, just how important am I to them?

"I guess you can't kill me that easy young man", said the woman and suddenly, a man appeared behind Lance. The guy was pointing a gun at Lance's head and hit his head using the guns holder.

"Lance watch out!", I shouted but I was too late...
