Chapter 14 : "TRY OUT"

TJ's POV:

"I'm not literally involving into trouble 'cause I care about my position inside this campus and to let you know, you might get plastic surgery if I beat you up", I said while she's still tweaking and twisting my hair downward.

And ghad damn bitch it hurts so much but I don't want to show the pain 'cause she might use it as her ace to know my weakness.

"Beat me up huh? How can you even do that if you're losing right now?", she sarcastically whispered near my ear while she's holding tight to my hair, guess what I can't even move forward to escape.

She keeps on twisting my hair while pulling it downward so I held her hand while she's tweaking my hair, I decided to hold her hand where she's grabbing my hair so I can prevent myself from getting hurt then since I can't move forward 'cause she might attack me again by grabbing my hair I moved my right foot backwards instead while passing through the loophole under her arm, so in the end I'm at her back while I'm twisting her arm.

"Now sister how can you defend yourself using your pretty face? And who said that I'm losing?", I sarcastically whispered near her ear as she kneeled, while I'm the one tweaking her hair this time.

"TJ!!!!!", someone shouted and I saw Kristene approaching me ," What do you think your doing?"

"What do you think would I do with a bully like her?", I said while letting her hair go, I think she might lost her hair if my grab was tight.

"Bully??", Kristines' face was so confused on what's happening that I can't hardly draw her face ,"Ah nevermind we need to go now", she grabbed my wrist as I pulled Cyndi's hand also.

"Where are we going?", I asked while we're running.

"You forgot? It's the day that our school is going to recruit some new member for the Volleyball Team", she replied, because of what Kristene said it caused me to stopped running.

"Wait a minute I totally forgot I'm going to lead this recruitment try out today!", I panickly said.

"Your totally right, but don't be nervous you've been the School Varsity in a year right?", Kristine said.

Well she's right recruiting new members are like testing every single of them, so I hope I can get this right.

"Our Varsity Player is her!!", Mrs.Baltazar yelled while I opened the door Court Hall, yeah I can't believe that we're indoor playing today.

I approached Mrs. Baltazar alone while Kristine and Cyndi walked towards the other side, all the students who wants to join the campus team are all lined up. All eyes on me while I'm approaching Mrs. Baltazar in the front center of the court, Kristene signaled me to chin up and smile but the only think I did was to walked faster, I did chin up but smile? No way, there's so many attentions focused on every single move I do until I stood up next besides Mrs. Baltazar.

"Everyone maybe most of you already know Ms. Cruz here, Tiffany Jane Cruz is our.......", Mrs. Baltazar didn't finished her semi-speech when someone interrupt by entering the court hall door.

Three girls ranly entered the room while passing through me and Mrs. Baltazar in front like no one is standing there, and also it didn't take long before I recognized those girls, those girls specially their center girl are the ones who I fought with earlier. They lined up in front while frightening others to give up their line and go to the back of the line instead.

"I don't want anyone being late when you're going to join my session, I don't want this happen again, okay since we have a LATE COMERS here I'm going to start over again, Good day ladies I am Mrs. Baltazar who's assigned to handle every woman sports inside our Campus, and maybe most of you know Ms. Cruz. Tiffany Jane Cruz is our Varsity Player back in her Freshman days. All of you are here for the try out to be included in our team, if I'm wrong you may now leave this hall, Ms. Cruz is going to join us but not just join us because she's also the one who's going to lead all of you alongside of this try out", Mrs. Baltazar announced while emphasizing the 'LATE COMERS' inside the hall.

The girl who I fought earlier can't believe to see me standing beside Mrs. Baltazar, her face was so out of this world, she also keeps on glaring at my directions.

"The try out will begin tommorow morning, and I repeat I don't want seeing anyone being late tomorrow understood!!!!", Mrs. Baltazar shouted and all the girls replied ,"You may now go and be back tomorrow inside this hall".

All of them left the Court Hall and ask for me I approached Kristene and Cyndi's location first before leaving.

"How was it?", Kristine asked while standing up from where she's sitting.

"Why are they here?", I asked.

"Who?", she replied.

"Those girls earlier!", I loudly said, all of us know that I'm preferring to those bitches who I fought earlier but this girl in front of me is acting like she doesn't know anything, well yeah she doesn't.

"I guess to join the try out", Cyndi inserted, my eyes widened and got shocked when she spoked.

"Seriously Cyndi what's going on with you between those girls?!", I yelled then she bow down her head before answering.

"I almost ruined her hair earlier using the ball I throw that almost hit her head", she replied.

"She tweaked your hair because of her hair, is that it?", I said and she nodded.

"Did you ruined her hair?", Kristene asked.

"I almost did but luckily I didn't", Cyndi replied.

"Good thing I did", I inserted while smirking, maybe Cyndi didn't ruined her hair but surely I did, using the tweaking part of our fight.

"Ms. Cruz may I discussed something with you?", Mrs. Baltazar said when suddenly approached us.

"Sure Ma'am", I replied and signaled Kristene and Cyndi to wait for me outside the Court Hall.

"I want you to handle every first row and the other old members will help you test the students who wants to try out for the School Team", Mrs. Baltazar said.

I nodded and agreed on everything Ma'am said according to the directions and discussions she reminded me until the time has come when Mrs. Baltazar bid goodbye.

After the discussion Kristene, Cyndi and I went back to our room to pack our stuffs before leaving 'cause the day is almost over, in short we have to go home again.

"Ohh yeah Kristene, where were you earlier? I've been looking for you", I confronted her while we're walking on the hallway.

Cyndi's with us also, I've been noticing also that Cyndi's getting comfortable with us maybe she's getting the hang of it when she's with me and Kristene.

"Well you know that there's so many things that has to be done before the day ends", she calmly replied.

"I was about to asked for your help with something", I said.

"Help for what?", she replied then we stopped walking for awhile.

"I just wanted you to come with me to buy Pauls' birthday present at the mall or something", I said.

"Ohh yeah okay I'll join you since I didn't have a gift your brother yet, maybe I could buy some for him also", she replied.

"How about you Cyndi do you want to come with us?", I asked.

"No I'm good, both of you can go together I need to go home earlier", shw replied and also bid goodbye and we bid her goodbye also.

After those farewell moments with Cyndi, Kristene and I went to the Mall as soon as possible before the night catches us.

"So do you have something in mind that you want to buy?", I asked while we're walking inside the Mall.

"I should be the one asking that, do you have something in mind that you want to give for your brothers' birthday?", she asked me back the question I asked her first.

"Well how about a new shoes?", I recommended.

"It's up to you, his your brother and it's your gift for him so you have to decide it yourself", she said.

Well she's right but I asked her help to help me so what's the purpose of her being here if she's not going to help me decide right?

After a half hour we checked out the thing that we bought at the Mall, well it's not easy to pick someones' gift your a birthday, you don't even know what they want to receive or something like that.

Well after the long picking session at the Mall we've decided to go to buy some snacks for ourselves.

"Gosh Kristene are you that hungry?", I sarcastically asked when I saw her grabbing lots of snacks in the container types of the snacks.

"What do you except, that I'd be full after the long line in the Mall?", she sarcastically replied.

"Okay I'm sorry thanks anyways for coming with me, so let's go to the counter and pay all of that 'cause it's on me", I said.

"Are you sure, you're going pay for this?", she said.

"Yeah so let's go", I replied and we went to the counter immediately.

"Hey what the...."

We were about to go to the first line of the counter when suddenly someone cut us off the line.

"You again?!", I said.

"Yeah it's me again bitch", she said.

I've already finished dealing with her earlier but now we've bumped into each other in here, seriously?

"Stop that just pay it and we'll leave right away", the girl besides her whispered.

And for the third time she whispered loud enough for me to here, yeah I'm talking to those girls who I fought earlier at the Auditorium.

"I don't want some trouble here so pay that shit and get out of my sight before I do something that I'll regret", I angrily said.

The other girl with them immediately pay all the things that they've buy in the counter and they grabbed their friends' arm and left the store, well maybe those two knows me well but that one bitch with them doesn't.

After the scene at the store Kristine and I already went home and luckily Paul didn't saw me entering the house 'cause if he did my present will not remain secret at all before his birthday tomorrow.
