Connecting the dots

"mmm I I'm family of the person who living here on a rent" she said while beating around the bush and pointed her index finger towards the first floor.

"But she had no family" Aunty replied as a matter of fact while creasing her eyebrows. Aunty folded her hands in front of her chest. The sentence just increased her suspicion more.

"Maybe she had told you but I am the person who looks after her in the orphanage. We share a special bond so I came to see her" She lied with a heavy heart as no option left her. There are some person who is closed to her heart and lying to them making her even more sad.

"Ohh! I remember now, she did" Aunty wooble her head in yes. "But why you look so sad" Aunty asked after a little thought, glancing without blinking.

Her real expression already shown on her face "That! As I couldn't meet the child, am just little sad" She said looking downward, these words not for Aunty but for herself. she really wanted to see her own self in the mirror.

"There is no need to be, she would come by evening until then you can rest at my little house" Aunty said with a gentle smile.

"Thank you for your kind gesture. Actually I just met her a little time ago and she told me that she would be leaving the city for work and she would not be able to accompany me. she just leave her house key and told me to wait" How could she explain aunty about the house key that she had, she again used a round about manner so aunty wouldn't doubt. She don't have time to look for other places now.

Aunty show a rare smile showing all her teeth. Don't know what makes her so much happy even her eyes shining like a bright Star 'Maybe she finds a good companion for talking, seeing my appearance.'

Aunty asked her many times to wait at her home but she denied, currently she is not in a right mind of state. she don't know how much time she will be able to hold her. If she start talking, she would definitely cling on Aunty. Her tummy just couldn't rest without spilling the beans so she better leave. "Ohhh, come then I will show you" Aunty showed her direction towards her room and leave after that saying "Make yourself comfortable, if you need anything then call me."

"hmmm" she just nodded at her words.

After closing the door she put her bag away and immediately message the Aunty what she just told her few breaths ago. So Aunty wouldn't be suspicious about her. she closed all the window and covered the curtain. she had a feeling that someone is looking at her, following all her action. Maybe she saw too much today she is feeling all nervous and fearful.

To calm her mind she took long breaths again and again. After that she started contemplating pensively about today's events. She said her thoughts aloud and clear."Now I look at it, everyone was behaving weird even my body which I didn't look carefully in the morning" she said with quivering lips, her body was shivering like someone passed a current in it.

they all looking to me with pitiful gazes"she said in low voice, started connecting the dots. Her eyes goes wide open. she looked blankly at the ceiling in front. the conclusion she reached horrifying her.

Shock is an adequate word to describe how and what she is feeling.

"They all giving me hints from the very start. they wasn't behaving weird, it's me who looking weird" she shouted this time crying again. Like a thunderbolt struck her.

She looked towards mirror with utter horror like it's an alien thing which can attack her any moment. she really don't have that much courage to even look into the mirror. she is too scared to saw someone other face. she turned her back and increase the distance between her and the mirror so even by mistake she won't see anything.

No one was playing prank on her, expect the highest one whom she thought pouring luck on her. But who thought she is so naive ''I am stupid No! I am an idiot, a very big idiot" she started blabbering.

''I have so many dreams that I wanted to achieve

I wanted to tour the world

I didn't even told my crush that I like him

without getting married I became old, I don't even have any children, who will look after me, I wanted to play with my grandchildren! I wanted a happy family" she said in between her crying.

*Sob Sob*

"whom should I tell who would believe me!"

*Aaaaa! Sob sob*

"why did it happened to me"

"Am I going to die like this!"

"I didn't do anything bad! then why! why!"

"I didn't even enjoy half of my youth!"

*sob sob*

"I hope it's dream, it's just a bad dream" she started praying while folding her hands bowing her head a little 'God! I promise I will work hard from tomorrow, please this should be dream' she said in her mind, trying to bribe the highest power.

After praying almost an hour. she tried to stand up from the cold floor. But after sitting in the same position her joints ached so much, that she almost tripped over. she hold the bench on her right side immediately saving herself from fall. sometimes her little brain could work even in a mess.
