“We can’t stoop to his level,” Julietta responded to Emile’s statement.
“Being kind to him will not make him a better person,” Emile stated. “He will just think of us as fools.”
“Fortunately we don’t have to care about what he thinks of us,” Raine remarked. “Urella should pay him out tomorrow already and I will be here in the afternoon to see to it that he starts with evacuating procedures. He should be out within a month’s time because he needs to find alternative accommodation,” Raine explained further.
“You are really too concerned on his behalf,” Emile responded. “I figure that if he gets the money then he can use some of it for another house and some of it for immediate alternative accommodation.”
“If we’re wicked towards him by making his life difficult, then one day the same thing can happen to us,” Sheila remarked. She walked closer to the group.
“Oh, but are we the ones who broke the law and played innocent like him?” Emile asked. “Why would we suffer a bad fate?”
