Chapter Thirty Three

                                 IAN’S POV 

FLASHBACK (5)

He was putting on a doctor's coat and sitting close to steph, smiling ear to ear and looking at her like one adorable princess while she sang. I felt a sting of jealousy from the closeness and look he gave her. Why the fuck was I acting like this? Maybe it's because she's my best friend's mum. Yes that should be the reason. I wouldn't like to see any man look at my mum like that. Bastard!!  I walked in with out even thinking. Stephanie and the ass hole of a doctor turned ltowards the door. Steph smiled at me sweetly and I'm blown away instantly. I smile back at her and walk towards her then hug her. She stiffens, I'm sure I caught her off guard and I did catch my self off guard too. Why the fuck did I do that? I have no idea. I stand straight and face the nigga sitting close to her.

“ thanks for keeping her company doc. I’m here now she’ll be fine. Thanks “ I said with a hard glare. I’m sure he got my message very well, cause I was thanking him with no atom of humor on my face. I hate the fact that he was that close to steph, looking at her that way. Bastard!! 

He smiles at me tightly and stands. “ fine. “ then her turns back and smiles at steph admiringly. “ I’ll come check on you later steph “ I glare at him again in a deadlier way. The fucking hell!! Why would you call her that. 

“ Don’t fucking call her that “ I warn him and he raises a brow at me. 

“ why shouldn’t I? “ he asks it only annoys me further.

“ she is your patient man. Just formalities “ I say to him and I’d walks closer to him like a predator towering over his prey. He is y’all but not as tall as I am. His daring attitude makes me want to stick my fist into his white face. He looks like he was painted with snow. 

“ hahaha okay guys. Stop it already “  steph says and comes in between both of us. I look at her tenderly so does he. 

“ fine I’ll leave miss Brown. I’ll come to check on you later. “ he says and places a hand on her shoulder. Stupid asshole!!! I smack his hands away from her shoulder. He glares at me then smiles at her and leaves. 

I turn back to steph and smile 

“ you have a beautiful voice “ I say to her my hands on her shoulders. She huffs, Swats my hands away from her shoulders and sits on the bed. 

“ what was that for ? “ she asks 

“ c’mon did you not see how he was touching you? “ I say to her and sit close to her. “ he was too close. That position was too intimate for a doctor and patient relationship “ I say nonchalantly 

“ oh please stop acting like nix. “ she says and rolls her eyes at my words. 

“ what? He was really close. Annoyingly close “ I said to her like a protesting child and she laughed. 

“ so how was school today? “ she asked and I raised a brow

“ acting like a sweet mum now? “ I ask with a smirk

“ you are so dumb “ she says to me and pushes me down from her bed 

“ heyyyy!!! Why did you do that? “ I ask loudly like a wronged child and she laughs 

“ Cause you have been acting like a spoiled ass since you walked in that door. Stop sulking man, you not a child “ she says to me and picks up her phone. Someone knocks on the door.

“ who is it ? “ she asks 

“ delivery “ he says 

“ did you order for something? “ she asks me and I nod 

“ okay come in “ she calls out and he walks in with a bag. 

“ here’s your delivery sir. Please sign here “ he says handing a book and pen to me to sign. I take it from him, sign and take the bag from him. He leaves and I unpack the bag. 

“ what is that? “ steph asks. I smile and open the box of chocolate and cookies and keep it 

“ how did you know that I love chocolate? “ she asks like a happy child that was just offered cookies by Santa 

“ Phoenix can be quite handy you know? “ I tell her and she smie

“ now eat up “ I say and hand her one cookie. She takes it from me and munches it like a hungry baby bear. So so adorable. I watch her eat admiringly. 

She was on her third cookie when she stopped and asked

“ what? You ain’t eating? “ she asks and I give her a smile 

“ no. I love watching you eat “ I say and she frowns

“ have you eaten? “ she asks 

“ I’ll eat later “ I say but she doesn’t look like she

would take no for an answer. She takes one cookie from the cookie box and brings it close to my mouth 

“ c’mon eat “ I shake my head 

“ nah I’ll.....” i was about to completely sentence when she put the cookie in my mouth with out notice and started laughing heartily. 

The fuck!!! Like what the fuck!! I stared at her wide eyed surprised. Before I could even regain form that shock she picked up her phone and took a shot of my mouth full of cookies with out mum permission. I swallowed the cookies immediately and flared at her  feigning anger “ How date you?! “ but it only made her laugh out louder. Fucking hell! Am I a clown to her?

“ delete it now “ I say to her with a glare but she only laughed and said “ No “. 

“ Give me that phone “ I say and try to snatch the phone from her but she is fast enough to hide it in her dress. 

“ don’t fucking touch my phone “ she’s says to me with a mischievous smile. 

“ but I can touch you “ I say with a cocked brow and sly smile. I watch her eyes widen and I laugh. She was about to say something but I started tickling her. She started to laugh and I too started laughing. Like who wouldn’t ?
