#2 The Palace

I stand on my balcony connected to my room and look out at the city and massive fortress below. I did this often as I can look down at the bustling streets and the people which I would eventually care for and rule over. in my terms this fortress was immense. With the palace at the center the outer wall to the inner wall measured six heus (hue-z) in radius. In your terms 6 miles or around 9 km. but from now on I will stick to my measurements. there is about half of a heu from the inner wall to the outskirts of the palace. this is usually where lower noblety would stay when they visited the capital. the ranks of these nobles were pretty straightforward

High Tier

direct royals-the immediate family of the king or queen

indirect royals-the immediate family of the queen and nieces or nephews of the king

Mid Tier

ArchMage-the most powerful Magicka

Dukes/Duchesses-governors of the land

Arch Dukes/Duchesses-Town mayors

High Magicka-powerful Magicka that have usually fought in wars

Low Tier

War Veterans-High military officers that have in at least one war

guild Masters-while not technically nobody they are treated as such because they control and have authority over the people in the guild

beast Lords-these Lords are magical beasts or animals that have control over certain creatures and are treated as nobody in the eyes of humans

Draconic Tier

The Dragon King-whilst The Dragon King can technically be a human there has not even

been exciting over a thousand years

The Dragon Queen-is the same as the Dragon

King

Dragon Overlords-powerful dragons;

The reason humans can become the dragon King and or Queen because they can be Dragon riders known as the Dragonhearted. Dragons and their rider or held in high status but not among the dragons themselves.

The palace itself reaches 1/4 of a heu in hight towering high above all other building. The fortress is square is shape with 66 rodes in-between the outer wall and the inner wall. One of the road leads up to the palace and one road between the palace grounds and the inner wall. The Walls are made from marble and the Palace from rose quartz is it's purest form strengthend with powerful magic. The Palace shines through out the day with a pinkish glow and through the night because of the magic flowing though it. The rodes are made from a rare form of Granite causing it to turn a golden hue at night. The entire capitol is a beacon that can be seen from almost three miles away. All the buildings are made from polished Stone and have a sewer system that travels 784 heus to the ocean and branches off to fields along the way.

I wear white robes the kind that every kid wants so they look cool not baggy by it looks as if it's held up with wires. The back is a tree made from gold silk. A golden band with intricate carvings and a blue diamond in the center.
