A New World

My name is Richard Roe and all my life I have lived in the shadows, disregarded, and forgotten, with no one to care or take care of.

"Hey piss off and get out of the way"

Yeah that's my normal life.

And that would have been the case ' forever ' but - right now I am stranded in this damn queue, under this damn scorching sun, sweating profusely, with my life being in danger of burning to death due to an accidental acquisition of a damn lotus flame. Damn luck tsk tsk.

Placing his hand on the wall of the gate, his details were displayed and he was granted access to the interior of the open gates which was still covered in thick fog. He entered the fog and felt the same dizziness he had felt during his first time and soon was teleported to the other side. Voilà!

But this time he found himself, not in the stadium but, in a large expanse of land. And at a distance he could see three gigantic airships, a never seen before type, and from the looks of it, they are high level airships.

' Bump '. ' Crash '.

"Oh I'm so sorry." A boy said as he helped Richard up.

"Ouch" He exclaimed loudly as he felt sudden heat upon touching Richard's hand.

"My goodness! You don't have to be so cruel!" He said angrily as he looked at his almost roasted palm.

"I - It wasn't my intention." Richard, almost red, tried to explain.

"Oh I know you. You are that freaky trash." He said reflexively after knowing Richard's identity "Oh I'm sorry, so - sorry, you know, for saying that, but that's what everyone calls you, so you know I just kinda. Oh yes my name is Andre by the way, are you okay? you are -"

"NO! I am not and will you PLEASE STEP ASIDE?"Richard answered with every word clipped and enunciated clearly showing that he is really frustrated by the blabbering idiot in his way, keeping him in direct sunlight.

Racing to the the airship, Richard, almost dehydrated, took refuge at its shade, heaving a deep sigh of relief.

He couldn't help but think to himself if he will be able to live through this.

"Hey, Hey."

Looking up, he saw the ' blabberer ' catching up to him.

"Hey huuu huuu, I, I, wait! where are you going? " He asked while trying to catch his breath only to see Richard leaving him for the ship.

"Hey wait up"Andre shouted as he hurried to catch up once again.

' Come on who is this bug '

"Hey so what's your name, huh? "Andre asked as they climbed up the airstairs.

"None of your business" Richard answered as he picked up the pace to distance himself from Andre.

"Come on. We're officially schoolmates and can be considered acquaintances so it's pretty much normal asking for your name" Andre said while trying to shorten the distance between them.

' As I thought, he is an idiot. Only one would forget such an infamous name'

Entering the airship, they saw many students were already gathered and most were talking to one another while some were already asleep.

"Hey look it is the freaky trash. Richard Roe!"

' Oh the burden of being a celebrity - Fame '

" Hoho, Yes it truly is him, the legend in making"

Everyone bursted into laughter.

"I - I" Andre, standing at his back, tried to say something to Richard but couldn't.

Looking at his figure moving through the jesting crowd, and recalling the earlier state he met him, he took in a deep breath and his eyes flashed with a resolved glint, he took a step and followed behind Richard amidst all the jesting.

Sitting at a porthole seat the back, Richard closed the window, and placed down his belongings.

Ignoring the crowd's bantering, he tried to get some sleep as he had woken up very, very early this morning. Way too early.

Noticing some movement beside him shortly after he closed his eyes, he half - opened his eyes to see who it was and it was Andre.

' Oh so what again. Can't the world just give me some peace '

And even though he's got a face that tells he has a lot to say, Andre just kept his silence and allowed Richard to have his sleep.

Soon enough the airships were full and it was time to take off. "Hey, hey it is about time to take off, you wouldn't want to miss this" Andre gently rocked the sleepy Richard to wake.

Rubbing his eyes, Richard opened his eyes and saw a blanket laid on his body. Obviously it's not his, casting a look at the red- faced Andre, something tells him within himself, like a foreboding, that he might be nagged to death by this seemingly shy idiot.

"Oh about that" Andre said looking at his blanket,"I thought you might be needing it"

' Uhn, what a sweet little idiot, after you saw me sweat an ocean, you deduce that cold is the problem? Hurray I'm in capable hands ' Richard thought to himself while flashing a helpless smile.

"Everyone fasten your belt, and prepare for take off in 10...,9...,8...,....3..,2..,1 and go."

The airship took off at a very fast speed, covering a large distance and then entered a wormhole and after what seems to be about an hour, they made their exit.

Through the portholes, the students could see that they have arrived in a world beyond their imaginations.

In the sky they could see countless stars like sprinkled dust scattered across the surface of the sky. They saw the moons and even more they saw planets. It was as if the whole Galaxy was projected to the sky, each of the celestial body showcasing their existence to them. It was a sky filled with countless dreams and stunning beauty. This is beyond the normal world governed by physical laws and systems. This is a world of wonders, a dynamic world, a world of possibilities and dreams come true.

This is a true fantastic world.
