5 The Lookout!

A week had already gone by since my arrival on earth; there was nothing special happening during these days besides Goku fighting. Goku always came over every morning, throughout the day to help me progress. And so, within a week I was already proficient in the use of Ki Control and Sense.

Goku didn't ask any question about his origin, as far he was concerned; he didn't really care. However, he did want to know about this Frieza character I mentioned before. He was a bit excited to fight strong opponents, but he wasn't even an opponent for a Saibaman as he was now.

This was another thing I found on my ship during my travels to Earth, it was a few bags of Saibaman seeds. I had to go back to my ship to retrieve them, I had Goku spar against one. I told the Saibaman to take it easy on him until his strength improved.

Goku was stunned to see the little green figure pop out of the ground. The Saibaman had a battle power of twelve hundred, but its strength varied depending on the soil quality it came from.

Goku fought the Saibman, but it would only dodge Goku's assault. This continued for days until I decided I had to be a bit harsher, so I told the Saibaman to fight back; just don't kill him.

The days continue on, and Goku received some Zenkai boost after getting beaten several times a day by the Saibaman. It was that will of his to get stronger that caused him to grow so fast.

"I can finally beat this guy, it was tough at first but now it shouldn't be too much of a problem." Goku had fought this Saibaman every day for 6 days straight, he also came back ready for more.

The first three days were just the Saibaman dodging and evading him, but on the fourth day, I had it fight back and so on. Goku endured beating after beating until he finally surpassed the creature on the sixth day. Normal training wouldn't raise Goku's strength fast enough, so I made use of the Saiyan's cheat-like ability—the Zenkai boost.

I could sense that he was stronger than the Saibaman, but I still used my scouter to get an exact number of his battle strength.

Goku's strength had gone up to 1,800!

"Maybe you can fight more if you had those Senzu Beans you mentioned two days ago, what about those?" I honestly wanted to take a trip there and get my hands on the beans for myself; perhaps I could get the divine water as well.

"I think I should but that Korin always seemed to run out of them, but he might have some now." Goku gazed up slightly and tap his palm with his fist like he came up with some brilliant idea.

"This will do, I think we should head there to retrieve those Senzu Beans." This was a good time to get some Senzu Beans and for me to finally request for the Dragonballs.

I was worried, though. I didn't intend on having Frieza find out about the Dragonballs—if I could help it. Furthermore, there were bigger threats that would soon follow after Frieza, that being the Androids. However, there was an even bigger threat than them, they were just prey for a bigger monster behind the scene.

I had time, there were many years before they would appear, I needed to kill both the Androids and Cell. I wanted to become a Super Saiyan God quickly, this was one of the reasons I couldn't allow Nappa, Raditz, and Vegeta to die just like that. With them, plus Gohan, made just around the right number to complete the ritual.

Well, I wasn't even Super Saiyan yet so it was best for me to stop dreaming so soon. Also, Nappa, Vegeta, and Raditz weren't good people, so it wouldn't work for now.

"Right, let's head over to Korin's place. Just to a warning, you may be a little surprised when you see him, hehe." Goku gave a faint smile, but he wasn't joking when one thought about Korin's appearance, it was talking cat.

"I've seen my fair share of things in the universe, I don't think anything can faze me at this point." Of course, I was just saying this. A talking cat was just too amazing, I might lose myself and end petting the little guy.

Goku nodded and we both flew off, I simply followed him because I didn't know where to go. As we were flying, I told him not to tell or involve his friends, if he had any. They would naturally get involved later, but as of now, it wasn't any of their business.

Goku was puzzled, he was actually going to tell his friends sooner or later. However, I didn't think it was a good idea right now. Perhaps he could involve Bulma since she should be able to create a gravity room for him.

On a serious note, these side Z-fighters were just too useless, besides Piccolo. On our way over, Goku asked me a question, he wanted to know why I looked just like him. In all honesty, I was borne before him, so he looked like me, but Bardock was born before me, so I looked liked him.

"Some Saiyans have the same physique in some rare occasions, typically low-class warriors like me and you. You got your looks from your dad Bardock, while mine probably came from my grandfather or someone in my family." My parents had presumably died on a mission, while I was back on planet Vegeta.

"Low-Class Warrior?" Goku seemed to have disregarded everything else and wondered more about this low-class warrior crap. I briefly explained that Saiyans had ranks depending on their battle power when they were born.

The weaker ones were sent off from our home planet at a certain age to destroy the inhabitants of another planet. Afterward, the army of Frieza would sell that planet off. Goku's expression turned unsightly hearing this, he started to put things together related to himself.

I quickly told him that his mission in coming here wasn't to destroy the place but to survive. Goku believed Turles and sighed in relief, he couldn't remember anything anyway, so the person he was before was gone.

He asked if Saiyans all wore armor as I do, and replied that we do wear armor all of the time. It provided protection from attacks and terrible weather conditions. The black suit that I wore underneath my armor like Vegeta's blue suit—was good against harsh weather conditions.

Cool but not cold, warm but not hot.

Eventually, we could see a long support beam that l shot off into the sky; this would lead us to Korin and Kami's place if we followed it. We both changed our direction and began flying upward towards Korin's place.

Within a short period of time, we arrived at Korin's lookout. Korin came into my view instantly, it was like he was expecting us as he just stood there.

"What~?!" Korin's eyes opened for a moment before closing when he saw my face, he was shocked for a moment before gaining his calm.

"Kakarot, t-this, it's a talking... dog." I looked at Korin in surprise, but I was just pretending.

"Turles, he's actually a cat, not a dog. You said you've seen everything, but you couldn't tell he was a cat and not a dog. Ah, man, you crack me up!" Goku laughed and removed the tears from his eyes.

"D-dog?" The lines that represented Korin's eyes twitched.

"I didn't know you had a twin brother, he's much more rude compare to you, Goku, hmph!" Korin turned and ignored both of us, I was still surprised by this talking cat. I really wanted to pick him up and cuttle him, but that would be too disrespectful.

"It was a joke, Korin. You should come down to earth and walk around more, sorry for the offense." Goku hurriedly and apologized to Korin, who was getting grouchy about being called a dog.

"Your brother called me a dog, does he have eyes?" Korin turned his head and gazed right at me. I had a faint smile across my face, this was too funny.

"It was a joke little kitty, look, I have something for you." I tossed a bag near his feet.

"Sniff Sniff" Korin sniffed the air, then he quickly grabbed the bag to have a look at what was inside.

"Fish!" Korin jumped in joy before he coughed and regained his calm posture in a flash.

"Goku, why have you and him co-"

"We came for some Senzu Beans, we're going to need them for later." Goku interrupted before Korin could finish. I just kept my gaze on the little fella, both of us didn't bother to clear up the misunderstanding he had of us.

"I can do that, I don't have much left but there are some growing now." I wonder where the ones he hadn't used went? Did they rot away or something, how long did it take to grow these beans?

Korin had long since noticed how strong Goku and Turles were, but he knew they weren't hostile so he didn't care. Korin slowly walked towards the room on his lookout, we didn't follow and waited for him to come.

Goku thought things would be easier for him if he brought fish to Korin often when he wanted Senzu Beans.

"There's actually another lookout if we go higher, he's the guardian of this planet. I think we should drop in and see him as well." Goku nodded and said.

"Sounds good to me." I was going to come up with some excuse anyway and say, 'where does the rest of the support beam lead to, we should check it out' or something along those lines.

Korin came out of the room with a pouch in his hand, then he tossed it to Goku. I asked Korin about the number of Senzu Beans in the bag, he told us that there were 15 of them inside.

"Perfect! Thank you, Korin, I owe you a bunch." Goku gave a small salute before we left his lookout.

"You said that last time!" It was too late, as they both had already left the lookout. Korin could only sigh, but he was still happy with the amount of fish he received. Time to try it raw, cooked, fried, etc,

He wanted to eat them in different ways.

...

Both me and Goku could already see Kami's lookout.

Swoosh~

With a burst of wind, we arrived at the lookout. The first person we saw was Kami himself, with his old and wrinkly appearance.
