--------------------------------------------------------------------

After defeating Dodoria and Zarbon, chaos ensued in the area. The ground was littered with craters, and the air was filled with the stench of blood and smoke. The search for the Dragon Balls continued, and they encountered another Frieza's soldiers on the way, leading to a fierce battle.

Instead of acting immediately, Raditz followed Tumat's request and released the spacecraft openly. Then, he took out the six Dragon Balls from the spacecraft. The reason for this action was that the accuracy of the Universal Dragon Ball Radar within a small range was not high enough, and Earth's radar was susceptible to various disturbances. Tumat proposed to improve the accuracy or create a new radar.

Tumat flew around the six Dragon Balls, examining them closely and trying to touch them. To his surprise, several Dragon Balls glowed and shimmered, a phenomenon he had never witnessed before in his world. This aroused his curiosity.

"Can you make a radar based on these Dragon Balls?" Raditz asked eagerly.

Tumat, hiding his wings, looked at Raditz and responded, "We still need the original Dragon Ball radar for reference. Let me analyze its structure."

"Here it is." Raditz immediately handed the Universal Dragon Ball Radar to Tumat when he heard that there might be something he could work with.

Tumat, known for his technological expertise, possessed strong research capabilities. He scanned the structure of the Dragon Ball radar, analyzed the Dragon Balls wavelengths, and then fell into deep thought.

Raditz refrained from disturbing Tumat, understanding that the high-tech area was not his expertise, and scientists often required a quiet and stable environment to study. He patiently stood by, hoping for quick results.

Finally, after nearly half an hour of contemplation, Tumat spoke, "I never expected Earth to have such a powerful inventor who can create the Dragon Ball Radar! It's amazing!"

In the vast universe, Earth's technology was not highly developed, and it lacked the ability for large-scale space travel. Many alien beings looked down on Earth as a low-level planet, and they never thought there would be genius scientists there. However, Bulma, the inventor of the time machine in the future, was one such extraordinary mind.

"Is there a solution?" asked Raditz.

"I have now grasped the structure of the Dragon Ball Radar. If we focus on optimizing its accuracy, it should be achievable," replied Tumat. He approached the radar, examining it carefully. Though lacking human hands, he used his wings and claws to work diligently, and he didn't even need tools.

Based on the original radar, Tumat made modifications much faster than expected. He converted the top button into a dial block, allowing the radar to adjust the grid lines on the screen to a specific multiple, thereby displaying a smaller range with better accuracy than the Earth Dragon Ball Radar.

"I've studied the electromagnetic waves emitted by the Dragon Balls and adjusted the radar's receiving frequency accordingly. Additionally, the left and right sliding parts of the dial can be scaled to a specified magnification, while the front and rear sliding can adjust to a highly reactive interface. This will help in determining the location even if a Dragon Ball falls into the sea or a deep ditch. If possible, I'd like to collaborate with the manufacturer of this radar to create a three-dimensional exploration device," Tumat explained.

Raditz took the radar from Tumat and familiarized himself with the new operation. When he pointed it out, six large flashing spots appeared in the middle of the screen. The arrow and the flashing points coincided, indicating his current position. When Raditz attempted to enlarge the display for a more precise location, the position was still clear.

"Tumat, you are incredible! Hahaha!" Raditz patted Tumat's wings, laughing with excitement.

In his excitement, Raditz's slap was too forceful, and Tumat was struck several times.

...

On the Faraway planet, Raditz flew among the mountains. The dry climate hindered lush vegetation growth, and the rocks formed peculiar shapes due to years of erosion by winds. With the help of the radar, he easily reached his destination.

"It's nearby." Raditz held the radar and stopped.

A bright spot appeared on the radar, indicating a strong reaction.

Sliding the dial back and forth, the height position was displayed, just below ground level.

Raditz landed and stepped on a patch of weeds. "It's here." He waved a burst of air, blowing away the grass and leaves, revealing a hidden object. However, the shadow of the Dragon Ball was not visible.

The sand and gravel were blown away by the gust, exposing the desolate ground.

"I suspect Turles took precautions when placing the Dragon Ball. It should be hidden in a safe or something similar," Raditz muttered to himself, standing at the spot indicated by the radar.

He pressed his hand into the ground, channeling his Ki to dig into the earth.

"Boom!"

A loud noise resounded, and the surrounding land cracked, forming a pit. Raditz felt a jolt of pain in his hand. When he examined it closely, he found that his hand was pressed against a sealed metal box, leaving his palm print on it.

"Finally found it! The Four-Star Dragon Ball!"

Raditz was ecstatic. The Dragon Ball was indeed placed in a safe, but unfortunately, it couldn't escape the radar's tracking. He raised his fist and prepared to smash the box.

"Danger!" Tumat opened his wings and shielded Raditz's fist. Fearing that Raditz might not stop, Tumat hurried to intervene, and he felt a sharp pain in his arm as he blocked the attack.

"What are you doing?! I'll shatter it!"

"This box has a mechanism. If you use brute force, it will trigger a self-destruct device. Not only toxins but also a large-scale explosion!" Tumat warned.

Raditz was taken aback. Toxins and explosions were bearable for him, but if the Dragon Ball were to blow up, it would be a huge problem.

"Dare you to disarm it?"

"Don't worry, leave it to me." Tumat patted his chest confidently.

He spread his wings and began analyzing the structure of the box, solving the complicated electronic locks on the outside. Then, he transformed into a skilled bomb defusing expert, defusing the explosive device and gas mechanism with ease.

"Tumat, I have to praise you. You're amazing!" Raditz looked at the dazzling display of expertise, genuinely impressed. The electronic lock was initially designed with a highly complex algorithm, making it impossible to solve with human wisdom.

Raditz couldn't help but feel grateful for Tumat's assistance.

Finally, Raditz picked up the Dragon Ball and collected the last 4 star dragon ball.
