Under the guidance of Kamehameha Wave, the spacecraft regained its strength, soaring into the sky leaving a white trail, leaving the chaotic scene behind.
Raditz felt the pull of gravity gradually diminish, as if frightened by the Kamehameha Wave attack and hesitated to take further action.
"Let's go."
"Wait! Look down there!" Goku pointed at the ground where a hole had been blasted, his expression grim.
Raditz followed Goku's gaze and hesitated for a moment.
The dark gold surface crumbled and collapsed, revealing a fascinating sight at a rapid pace. It appeared like a forest painted in black ink, with dozens of long robots emerging from it! Faint lights illuminated the manipulators, and the armor covering their long robotic arms opened up, revealing their weapons!
Bullets scattered, rushing out in all directions without leaving any blind spots, while the mechanical arms continued to extend, attempting to ensnare the spaceship.
"They've changed their tactics." Raditz was shocked and launched a series of Ki blasts to block the spacecraft. He swiftly maneuvered along the edges of each arm, cutting them off to prevent their attacks. "Goku, aim for the main body and destroy it!"
Explosions echoed through the air as Raditz successfully eliminated several mechanical arms, causing the metal claws to fall weakly from the sky.
However, more mechanical claws surged from the ground, rapidly approaching the spaceship, larger and thicker than before. The outer armor was sharper and sturdier, with sharp ribs protruding from each joint, resembling the teeth of a beast, viciously attacking.
"Damn it!"
"Bring it on!" Goku dodged a claw attack and witnessed countless robots emerging from the black hole.
The two of them were trapped amidst the multitude of mechanical adversaries. While these machines were weak individually, their sheer numbers and level of difficulty posed a challenge.
In the midst of the chaos, numerous mechanical claws entangled the spaceship, forcibly dragging it towards the planet's surface.
Goky instinctively knew that their opponents target was not them, but the spaceship.
Meanwhile, Vegeta also leapt from the main cabin, charging forward and demolishing a large number of mechanical claws with his ki blasts.
"Raditz, Kakarot, what are you waiting for?"
"Vegeta, be careful."
"Hmph, I don't need your concern." Vegeta scoffed as he unleashed a barrage of powerful energy waves, causing explosions one after another.
The black cave appeared to be retreating, suspending its transport arms, while the remaining mechanical arms swayed in the air like a dense jungle of trees.
Although their attacks managed to suppress the enemy, the spaceship remained entangled, slowly descending towards the ground.
The crisis was far from over.
The pattern on the metal planet's surface expanded once again, and slender robotic arms descended to the outskirts, leaving the central area vacant. In a gleaming dark golden light, a dark behemoth emerged, bursting through the solid metal ground and leaving deep trenches.
The giant's figure stood tall, dominating the heavens and the earth. Its upper body resembled that of a human, initially consisting of metal skeletons and frames, from its skull to shoulder blades, spine, and arms. Gradually, all the surrounding metal elements converged, filling its internal meridians, blood vessels, muscles, and even the surface of its body with hair!
While its upper body was active, its lower body remained hidden within the black cave. But even so, its towering stature seemed to reach the heavens, as if it could touch the sky with its outstretched hand.
"What is this creature?! It's enormous..." Goku was in awe.
"We'll just have to bring it down!" Vegeta, without hesitation, charged forward, bombarding the giant with a flurry of energy blasts. The luminous spheres of light rained down upon the giant, causing debris to scatter in all directions.
Vegeta's attacks proved effective. His extensive training in the gravity room had pushed his power level beyond 100,000. With a single energy blast, he could obliterate his opponents.
The energy in his hands provided a distinct advantage, knocking the giant to the ground. The mechanical arms that had ensnared the spacecraft fell like meteor showers, becoming limp and feeble.
Raditz returned to the spacecraft and prepared to reactivate the super-thrust system based on the operation manual.
"Beep beep..."
Just as Raditz began operating the system, a series of warning messages appeared on the screen. Bold red letters formed four lines, dominating the main display.
Upon seeing these words, Raditz froze.
"What's wrong?" Piccolo asked.
"The power supply is temporarily unavailable. We're forced to make a landing..."
Raditz pointed at the words on the screen, his voice growing faint. Despite escaping their pursuers, the spacecraft's power system could no longer sustain continuous full-load operation and required rest. Otherwise, there was a risk of explosion.
"Does that mean we have to land on this planet?" Krillin exclaimed in panic. Having witnessed the terrifying scenes earlier, he anxiously asked, "Is there any other option?"
Tien Shinhan, holding a transparent shield, perspired and nervously added, "Are we going to die?"
"Not necessarily. We still don't know what the planet is like. It's too early to make conclusions."
"But the metal planet lacks food and water. We'll eventually perish," Krillin's voice trembled.
Raditz shook his head and prepared for a forced landing. Carefully reviewing the recent information, he stated, "During the test, we discovered that the atmosphere on this planet is suitable for our survival, and the planet itself possesses water and soil reactions, albeit in limited quantities. In other words, while the majority of the planet is metal, there should be a small area where we can survive." He looked at Krillin and concluded, "And who said we had to stay for long? We only need to stay for five hours."
As they spoke, Vegeta flew out and darted past the spaceship!
Raditz was taken aback. He pressed the emergency button and swiftly followed suit, with Piccolo close behind.
"This..."
They witnessed a metallic warrior even larger than the giant. Its golden armor shone, and dark fluid coursed through the tubes on its body. The armor was adorned with sharp spikes, and dark liquid flowed slowly within the metal joints.
Goku flew out after Vegeta, followed by Raditz from behind.
The opponent's strength was overwhelming, pushing Raditz back several steps as he tried to stabilize himself.
"Be careful, it can absorb our energy and nullify our Ki waves!" Goku wiped the blood from his mouth, panting heavily.
Meanwhile, Vegeta returned, his fury and power fully ignited, emanating an icy coldness.
