9 Chapter 9 the finals

"Ahhh. That kicks it up a notch." kai said as he left the room where he was previously in with some small blood stains on his clothes.

"I am not done with you." Yamcha was heavily injured and just barely able to move but he still decided that he should stand up to Kai.

His body was covered with bruises, Injuries, cuts and blood but he still decided to run his mouth.

It was either bravery or idiocy. But Kai seems to be appreciated that as he closed the door leaving Yamcha who was injured alone in the room as he walked toward the stage.

"And now for the showdown Kai and Goku please make your way onto the stage." The announcer said with enthusiasm.

"To our honoured audience, the moment that you have been waiting for is finally here. The conclusion to the final battle of the Tenkaichi Budokai. Will the strongest under the heavens will be the son goku or will it be Kai? Will a child win? The climax is about to be unfolded before your eyes.

"Goku do your best. I know you will win." Kurullin encourages goku.

"I won't give up," Goku replied as he started to stretch his body for the final battle.

"It seems that you are looking forward to it," Kai said as he walked near goku and Kurullin.

"Yeah. I can't wait to fight you." Goku said with a smile on his face.

In the audience.

"That's strange Yamcha has been gone to the toilet for about 15 minutes already, Son Kun's battle is going to start soon. He might miss it if he didn't make it back in time. " Bulma said.

"Mabe he is just taking a really big...." Before oolong could finish his words he was hit in the head by bulma.

"Hey, that's hurt," Oolong said to bulma.

"I just hope that he can pull this off." Master roshi said.

"Of course, he will. Son Kun is really strong after all." Bulma said to master roshi.

Not knowing that he was not referring to goku.

Goku and Kai walked upward towards the stage.

"Now it's time for the final battle of the Tenkaichi Budokai to begin." The announcer said.

"I am not going to hold back." goku said with a smile on his face.

"Oh please," Kai replied.

[Your title (temporary antagonist) is destroyed.]

"Destroyed? Not cancelled?" Kai thought.

[Temperory titles are destroyed if their effects are cancelled out. While normal titles just lose their abilities temporarily.]

"That sucks."

"Begins." with the announcement Kai dashed towards goku and Give a kick to the head but goku appears behind him as he disappeared from Kia's vision and punched him in the back.

Kai turned back and land an elbow on Goku's face causing him to back off for a moment.

"You are really strong," Goku said as he wiped off some sweat on his face.

"Not a single blood? You are a monster." Kai said as he saw Goku who didn't have any damage from his attack.

Goku then disappeared from Kai's sight again and reappear to land a power hit and rinse and repeat.

[I knew it. You are too slow to fight against Goku.]

[You have to find a way to bypass this somehow otherwise you will get beaten and fail the mission.]

"I get it," Kai said as he smashed the arena where he was standing causing goku to stop momentarily.

Kai then started to charge at goku who was taken back by his actions and throw rapid punches and kicks toward his body.

Goku smiled as he started to return the punches toward Kai and they started to create small shockwaves.

"Just fall already," Kai said to goku.

[Your endurance is not that high so if you don't find a way to finish this quick you will undoubtedly lose.] the system warned Kai.

"Why is he not telling me to kill him like how he did to kurullin and Yamcha?" Kai thought.

[Well first you are not strong enough to kill him and second if goku the owner of the title protagonist didn't exist the world will be sooner or later destroyed so there is that] the system replied.

"Look Master roshi is not there anymore?" Kai yelled out in the middle of the match.

"Wait really?" Goku turned back to look at the audience but then Kai pushed him onto the ground and started to step on him by pinning him on the ground while holding his tail.

"Announcer. start the countdown. Hurry," Kai yelled at the announcer.

"What a dirty. I mean technical play." The announcer yelled out as he started to run onto the stage to start to count.

"Goku get you are going to lose" oolong yelled out.

"Son Kun. Don't give up." Bulma also encouraged goku.

"I see." Master roshi said as he gave a small smile on his face.

"Goku. Don't lose." Even paur cheered but it was not enough for goku.

Goku who has a small weakness of losing his strength when he was grabbed in the tail was unable to recover and then.

"10 and there we have it Kai is the winner of the Tenkaichi Budokai."

The crowd was silent.

They didn't want the match to be decided like that but then master roshi said started to clap and with that small clapping voice the tournament was now officially over.

[Do you wish to use that?]

"Save that for later."

He said as he got off the stage and disappeared into the crowd.

During the match between Goku and Kai.

"Hey. You stop for a moment." Master roshi who was not disguised as Jackie Chan said to Nam who was preparing to go back home after his defeat to goku.

"You are?" Nam asked back.

"I am master roshi. And I wanted to tell you something. If you want the water you can just take it from the wells. Around here water is so abundant that people are allowed to take it as they please for free." He said.

"What??" Nam said in shock.
