Master Fen Hai hummed a tune all the way back to his residence. He headed straight for his study, first rummaging through the shelves to take down several of the most precious magic treasures, elixirs, and heavenly materials and earthly treasures displayed in the center, carefully packed them into boxes, and then meticulously labeled them with their uses, materials, and prices. After doing all this, he continued searching the entire house and finally found a Jade Toad in a corner of the storeroom.
From the standpoint of a true master, this Jade Toad was of average quality and ordinary craftsmanship, offering only a slight improvement to Feng Shui and a bit of good luck, without any other uses. But what place's Feng Shui could compare to the Empty Valley?
Yet Master Fen Hai treated this Jade Toad, which even seemed redundant as a decoration, with great respect, placing it in the center of the treasure shelf and even wiping it down a few times.
