Flashback 15
“I am back…” RuIng said, but the next words stuck in his throat as Sevir’s glaring eyes met his happy ones.
RuIng closed his mouth, brows raised. Sevir threw the crystal across the room. RuIng flinched. The crystal crashed against the wall, but not a single crack appeared on the smooth image of RuIng.
“What.. Are you angry at me? What did I do?”
“You knew. You have always known.”
RuIng shut up, eyes wide, the radiant light draining from his wide eyes, “I… don’t know what you are talking about.”
“Don’t play with me Hongli. You always knew that they were the same person.”
“No.” RuIng snapped, “she was… she.. She might be.. But not the bastard she born you with.”
And just like that, RuIng was gone. Sevir grit his teeth and sought out to pick up the crystal, filling it up with his fire.
He fired up and poured everything he had into the crystal, his intention clear, to hurt, to catch, to do something to RuIng, to make him pay, for keeping the truth from him.
