"I am so thrilled. In here we can fight to the fullest. The wounds you take in here won't affect your real body. So what's your name? Am Anna." Anna asked.

Kyle ignored her question, and leaped towards her. He launched multiple punches at Anna, who easily avoided the strikes. She appeared behind him with a kick on his back. He was sent flying into the air, and he crashed onto a pillar. There was a tab above their heads which displayed their health and power rank.

He stood up, and ran towards Anna. He was using his fists against a soul weapon. Anna decided to finish him off. She slashed him on the chest once and his life was instantly drained to zero.

Kyle was instantly transferred back to his body. He came out of the pod, furious. "Darn it. How did she finish me off once?" Kyle thought. He walked over to where Eddie and Jake was, dragging them out. "Where are we going? Kyle!!" Eddie asked. His mouth was stuffed with Gumballs. They were headed to the second class.

Upon arrival, they noticed that the class was a little scanty. The first year new entries weren't much. Each students were to choose the classes they liked. Many students chose the classes without training or sparring. Kyle urged Eddie and Jake to attend the training and sparring classes. So they eventually joined.

Once classes were done, the three of them made their way back to the hostel, Eddie whispered in Kyle's ear.

"Did you go up against the Rank A girl in the game?"

Kyle ignored his question cause it sounded like Eddie was mocking him. Kyle brought out his device to check if the hostel had a rooftop. He had always wanted to see how the Kingdom looked like from above.

The hostel had one. But it was after the girls hostel which was prohibited from them. Eddie came up with an idea. The three of them would sneak to the rooftop once everyone had slept. Jake was skeptical about going with them. But he later decided to join.

It was now time, the three sneaked to the rooftop. When they got to the rooftop. It was silent. The breeze blew heavily and it was cold.

They went to the edge. The three of them stared down at the city below. The view was beautiful, "I like the view right now." Kyle thought. They could see a significant level of the city from there. The sound and light speed of flying cars could be heard from there. The city billboards, large houses with beautiful light displays was amazing.

To their left was the Academy building. It was larger than the hostel. After minutes of sightseeing, they decided to head back to their room before the Night guards come around.

The night guards were the set who patrolled around the school at night to check if all the students were asleep even though the hostel rooms had devices and cameras that could tell when you are asleep. The devices malfunction sometimes. So they had to confirm the status of students.

The next day, The three of them went to the canteen for breakfast. The school canteen maintained a familiar essence. The space was bright and airy, with large windows that let in natural light. Students gathered around flexible seating arrangements, allowing for quiet meals. The menu boards displayed a variety of breakfast meals. It changes based on time. Digital touchscreens were at each table, it allowed students to browse menus and place orders.

The atmosphere buzzed with chatter as students sat together and engaged in conversations. In one corner, a small café offered specialty of drinks and snacks.

The three of them sat at an empty table. Kyle started to scan through the menu. He ordered a large portion of meal for them. Three men came to the canteen's front. In the front stood, James. Nobody recognised the other two. They wore a black hoodie over their heads along with a mask to cover their faces. Each of them held a tablet in their hands. James then moved forward a little.

"This is an announcement regarding today's assessment. Once you hear your name kindly coame forward where you will receive your assessment results."

One by one students were called up forward and were asked to place their hands on the tablet. It displayed their ranks and a number beside it which signified their grades. 10 is considered as excellent improvement, 20 is considered as great improvement, 30 is considered as partial improvement while 40 is considered as no improvement. Each students cane back with different expressions.

The students who had been going to virtual classes and lectures came back, sad. While the students who had gone to training and sparring classes came back with a smile. Anna went forward. Her grade was displayed as 10. She was the forth person who received it.

Naturally, only the first years were assessed. The second years had a different building for all their academy processes. Eddie received a 20. He showed off a wide grin as he came back. Jake received a 40, his head was faced downwards as he came back. It was finally Kyle's turn.

Kyle expected himself to receive a 30 at least. He was rather given the same grade as Jake. He became furious. "How?? It can't be. I can't believe it." Kyle thought as he went back to join the others. Once the three men were gone. All the students went to their various classes. Kyle opened up his system tab.

Kyle wondered if there was a way he could level up faster apart from going on quests. They arrived at their classes. Anna sat beside them and began the conversation, "Hello. We've met before." Eddie and Jake exchanged glances. They stared at Anna, "She is so pretty. I have met her before. Yes i remember, it was in my dreams." Eddie thought.

Kyle was thinking about why she was so free around others. Eddie began to exchange conversations with her. Jake was shy to speak while Kyle completely ignored her.

"So what's your name?" Anna asked Eddie with a smile. Eddie didn't hesitate for a second. He blurted out immediately, "I am Eddie. This is Jake, and the shy one.." He was referring to Kyle, "His name is Kyle. Isn't it weird he dyed his hair white?" Eddie said while placing his hands on Kyle's head.

Kyle didn't actually dyed his hair white. He was born with a white hair. His father told him it was because he was related to the Blood Monarch and a gift was to be bestowed onto by the blood Monarch onto someone from his descendants. He was the one who was given the gift.

Kyle found what his father had told him, as dumb. Why is the gift a white hair? He always thought, and he couldn't tell anyone about how he got it. So he lied that it was dyed. Anna stretched her hand forward for a shake. Kyle looked at her hand, and rejected the handshake. He didn't seem to like Anna.

The class came to an end. Suddenly, two boys walked over to them.

"Hey. Let me show you guys around the school. Don't you want to know the rules placed down for the weak ones?"
