Chapter 4: The rise of Dragon-Man the new superhero in training

It was still late at night and Jen Ichiro couldn't believe what he was seeing...his best friend not to long ago was human who just won the football game and now all of a sudden he was transformed into what appears to be an anthropomorphic dragon right in front of him. Jin didn't know what to say about this but part of him wants to try and help him and the other half wants to run away fearing that his best friend might end up attacking him due to the possibility of his friends losing his sense of reason's and has become nothing more than a monster. Richard on the other hand was still exhausted from the transformation despite the pain he was enduring earlier and the fact he was trying to run away from his friend to get back home without making any seen however...his fear of his friend seeing him like this became unavoidable and didn't know what to do especially realizing that he literally turned into a mythical creatures that can be seen in stories or movies...a dragon.

Richard Draco: Jen I...

Jen hesitated for a bit and stepped back a little as if he wanted to run away in fear.

Richard Draco: Please don't go I'm still...*uhh*...me....

Suddenly Richard's head was feeling really woozy and fainted.

Jen Ichiro: Richard?...Richard!

As Richard fainted everything went dark and he can barley hear Jen calling out to him and soon enough....silent. Moments later everything was still pretty dark and it has been silent for quite sometime but soon enough Richard was starting to hear things again. It was pretty faint but he couldn't sworn he heard his friend trying to wake him up.

Jen Ichiro: R****d.....R****d c*n y*** h**r me?....w*** up.

Richard could barely hear Jen but began to open his eyes slowly. It was still blurry but soon enough his eyes began to clear up including his hearing.

Jen Ichiro: Richard can you hear me?

Richard Draco: ohhhhh~....my head...huh?....am I...back in my room?

Richard looked at his surroundings noticing that he is indeed back in his room laying on his bed.

Richard Draco: H...How long was I out?...was I asleep the whole time?...was everything just a dream?

Jen Ichiro: Umm...actually...not exactly.

As he had that worried look in his eyes however...Richard noticed that he was wearing one of Richard old football gear and helmet holding a frying pan and what appears to be a cardboard shield for protecting himself.

Richard Draco: Uhhhhhh....Jen.....why are you wearing my gear and why are you looking at me like that?

Jen Ichiro: Oh...umm...well...you see...the thing is you're not actually human anymore.

Richard Draco: Wait....you mean!

Richard looked to the other side of the room to look at himself in the mirror realizing that he's indeed still a dragon.

Richard Draco: Holy crap it's not a dream I'm a freaking monster!

As he touched his face to be sure that its actually real.

Richard Draco: H...How did this happen!? This doesn't make any sense I'm totally freaking me out man how am I supposed to go out looking like this!?

As he begins to panic.

Richard Draco: Oh God.....if my dad sees me like this he'll freak out!!.....Oh my God I'm a mutant!!...What If my dad is one of those mutant haters!?

As he was beginning to panic even more.

Jen Ichiro: Calm down buddy I'm sure there's an explanation for all this so let's start over with this.

As he removed his gear and helmet.

Jen Ichiro: First off...when did this all started when you we're feeling these changes.

Richard Draco: Umm....I don't know....it happened so suddenly during practice.

Jen Ichiro: Are you sure?

Richard Draco: Well.....actually....no I don't think that was it. I think it was when I woke up this morning.

Jen Ichiro: Wait....I think that's when I noticed that your eyes were different. Is there anything else besides that?....anything at all?

Richard Draco: Well...no...but I do remember having a weird dream last night. I don't really remember the details it's was kinda blur to me but I kinda remembered seeing a strange figure just standing beside me in my room calling out to me.

Jen Ichiro: What did it say?

Richard Draco: I really don't know...it was speaking in a totally different language so I really couldn't tell what it was saying...it's a dream after all so it probably dosen't mean anything.

Jen Ichiro: Hmmm...We'll....we can't just stand around thinking about it but what we should do is figure out how to take care of your situation.

Richard Draco: crap you're right how am I supposed to hide this? If anything this could be permanent.

Jen Ichiro: We don't know that yet. If you can turn into a dragon then there's a small possibility that you can trun back into a human.

Richard Draco: And how am I supposed to do that if I couldn't even hold on to my human form during the football game?

Jen Ichiro: Hmm...that is a good question...perhaps it has something to do with you turning 15 which could mean that you just hit puberty.

Richard Draco: That dosen't make any sense!

Jen Ichiro: Or is it.....

Richard Draco: *sigh*.....okay fine whatever...even if that is the case how is this gonna help me get back to normal? I have until Sunday before my dad gets back and if he sees me looking like this he's going to freak out realizing that I have a dragon for a son or worse...

Jen Ichiro: Don't think like that I won't let that happen trust me will figure this out okay. Look...I'm no expert in this kind of thing but I think you should try focusing on your new powers by trying to change back into a human.

Richard Draco: Are you sure I can even do that?

Jen Ichiro: Just trust me on this one it might probably work.

Richard Draco: hmmm....well alright I'll give it a shot.

As Richard got out of bed and walked toward the mirror looking at himself.

Richard Draco: okay....here goes nothing.

Richard closed his eyes focusing on becoming human.

Richard Draco: (I just need to picture myself as a human...no scales, no wings, no claws and definitely no tail....I'm a human...nothing else.)

As he was focusing on trying to change back.

Jen Ichiro: (oh man I really hope this works otherwise he's screwed.)

Richard Draco: (focus on being human...only...human....)

As he was concentrating his body was being to slowly change.

Jen Ichiro:(Holy crap it's actually working!)

Richard's dragon form was beginning to slowly but surely change back into his human form. His tail, wings and the rest of his dragon body were beginning to disappear and soon enough he was back to being a normal human. As the transformation was complete he slowly opened his eyes and looked at the mirror revealing that he was human again.

Richard Draco: Hay it worked I'm human again!

Jen Ichiro: I can't believe it actually wor.....oh...ummm....

Richard Draco: What... what is it....is something....*gasp*!!

Suddenly Richard realized he wasn't wearing any clothes at all when he was in dragon form in fact...he was completely naked.

Richard Draco: !!OH MY GOD I'M COMPLETELY NAKED GET OUT GET OUT!!

Moments later it was already 12:00am and Richard has already put on his clothes to sleep with and the same goes for Jen who already has his sleeping bag set up to go to bed.

Jen Ichiro: Sorry about that I wasn't expecting that to actually happen right when you went back to normal so....yeah....Let's not discuss this ever again.

Richard Draco: Ditto....(this is embarrassing) so umm....what should we do tomorrow?...we could just hang out here playing video games or something.

Jen Ichiro: Actually I think I have a pretty good idea what we should do.

Richard Draco: Really?....what is it?

Jen Ichiro: We'll...I was thinking should totally go somewhere to test your new powers and I think I know just the place for you to do it. There's an abandoned warehouse located somewhere around L.A. it hasn't been reopen for years so it should make a pretty good training spot to test your new powers or if you want we can totally make it into your very own hideout.

Richard Draco: Ummm...I'm not sure about the whole hideout thing but as long as nobody sees me it should be fine.

Jen Ichiro: Then it's settled...tomorrow will be you're first training of becoming a superhero!

Richard Draco: wait what?....

Meanwhile somewere in the city of L.A in the middle of the night there was a construction site that is closed however there are a total of five men who are criminals and thieves and one of them was the leader of the group who is bald named Boris. The other one with the short hair who is strong and Russian is Iv'an who is sitting next to Boris sharpening his blade. The other one is chubby but also bald name Phil who is a hacker. The tall one who is mostly good with a rifle is Garry and the last one with with white hair (mainly his natural color) with with a black mustache was Carlos who is good with heavy weapons.

Boris: Hmmm.....We've been waiting here for almost 3 hours now, what is taking soo dame long?

As we was getting impatient.

Iv'an: How do I supposed to know. He must have called us here for a reasons.

Carlos: What do you think he wants with us anyways? It has to be something important if he calls someone like use specifically.

Garry: Who cares, all we know is that he said we'll get paid well if we completed a mission for him.

Phil: He must really rich to pick someone like us but I wonder who this person is?

Suddenly a black limousine showed up with three huge trucks followed it as it entered the construction site the three trucks began to park and as it did six people wearing suit which appears to be bodyguards good out of the trucks awaiting for someone to get out of the limousine. The bodyguards obviously had guns to protect there leader and when the limousine stopped the bodyguards opened the door revealing a young man who apparently is the one in charge that people were waiting for. There was also a women who got out of the car with him. The name if this person was named Vincent Cornell who is the leader of the Cornell Corporation. The woman beside him is called Lilith who is one of those hot females wearing a fancy black dress but also has black long hair.

Vincent Cornell: Sorry to keep you all waiting you know how busy I can be sometimes.

Boris: *hmp*....You must be Vincent Cornell the leader of the B.M Corporation.

Vincent Cornell: I am.

Boris: You know it's not everyday someone with a billion dollar corporation like yourself having to do business with us...but who am I saying...of course someone as corrupted like you would stoop this low. What happened...is having millions of dollars not enough to satisfy you?

Vincent Cornell: Actually I'm not here for you to bring me any money in fact...I'm actually after something more than that.

Boris: and what would that be?

As he was curious from his explanation.

Vincent Cornell: Lilith would you kindly explain to them in detail.

Lilith: *giggle* certainly love.

As she picked up her device which activates a hologram of information.

Lilith: There's a building called the Kazumi corporation. As you can see they have developed a special kind of chip that can revolutionized advanced technology. You're mission is to enter the building and seek out the former CEO names Yasushi Kazumi who has the four codes given to four specific people he trust to open the vault. Inside the vault holds the chip but It also holds 150 point billion dollars. The money is you'rs for the taking but the chip belong to Vincent. Complete this mission and each if you will all be paid double of 500 million.

Garry: Dame....that's a lot.

Boris: that's easier said than done and what makes you think we can do all that?

Vincent Cornell: I'm glad you ask.

As he snapped his fingers as a signal for the body to remove something out of the back of the huge trucks. What came out of it were a total of twenty large cubes with a strange looking design features.

Iv'an: Don't want to be rude but what is with the boxes?

Vincent Cornell: Allow me to show you.

The bodyguard then gave Vincent a device pad to activate the cub and when it was turned on it began to transform into huge weaponized robots and the group were amazed at somthing they've never seen before.

Vincent Cornell: This is one of my latest inventions I like to call "M.D.A 58". A mechanical robotic shoulders that's indestructible that it can obliterated a tank with one single strike.

Carlos: impressive and your giving use twenty of them?....what's the catch?

Vincent Cornell: All you need to know is that my robot's will accompany you on your mission and yes there will be some casualties along the way but as long as they are fully functioning you shouldn't have a problem escaping the building with them.

Boris: and what happens when we refuse to give you the chip?

Phil: Uhh Boris I don't think we should be asking him that.

Vincent Cornell: We'll....it's quiet simple really.

As Vincent picked up his cellphone giving the group a serious look.

Vincent Cornell: With just one press of a button I'll order them to eliminate all of you should you try anything funny oh...and a bit of a fair warning my robot's have hidden cameras that I installed so I'll be watching you...

Boris: So we have no choice then....very well will get you your chip and you better have the money when this is over.

Phil: umm quick question....who are the four people that has the codes?

Lilith: I'll answer that question.

As she uses the hologram to reveal the identity of the people they will be targeting.

Lilith: These are the four people who have the codes and each of them has four digits numbers which is a total of sixteen codes. The name of these people are Mrs. Caroline, Mr Thomas, Mr Miller and last is Kiyohsi Ichiro.

As she gave out the name that is Jen Ichiro's dad.

Vincent Cornell: Tomorrow night these people will gather for a celebration party for Yasushi Kazumi's 50th anniversary. There you will begin you're mission of obtaining the chip and bring it to me. Twenty of my robot's will be enough to keep the police busy so I'd expect you all to be prepared when the time comes.

As he was giving out a sinister smile. The next day in the the morning somewhere in L.A Jen Ichiro and Richard were inside the abandoned warehouse looking at there surroundings for it was pretty huge but empty. The only thing that was left were a bunch of heavy steel bars, some empty bottles and cans that were just lying on the ground and a few broken empty boxes.

Jen Ichiro: Well here we are pretty impressive right!

Richard Draco: We'll...it is pretty empty here.

Jen Ichiro: Which is perfect to try out you're new powers! I have a bunch of list I've written on my notebook so I'll I'm going to do is see what kind of powers you have and don't have...it's pretty basic stuff for new superheros.

Richard Draco: I don't know...I'm not much of a superhero material I'm more like a freak to be honest.

Jen Ichiro: HAY!....You are not a freak okay...every superhero is different from any chape or form rather it be a human or a mutant.

Richard Draco: Well...if you put it that way I guess you're right...sorry about that Jen it's just that...I always wanted to know what it feels like to be a superhero like the Avengers but....I wasn't expecting to turn into a....well....a mutant.

Jen Ichiro: Dude....you're lucky to ever have powers but I get what you're feeling right now but that will be changed once you do some good deeds like fighting crime and stuff. Once you do all that people won't see you as a monster but a hero although....I might have to come up with some adjustment to your appearance but that will be later. First off let's start off with you changing into a dragon again.

Richard Draco: Wait...right now?

Jen Ichiro: Well yeah let's see you go all dragon up bro!

Richard Draco: Oh umm....well....

As he was feeling embarrassed of wanting to do that.

Jen Ichiro: Is something wrong?

Richard Draco: Nothing wrong it's just that umm....I umm...don't want to ruin my clothes...

Jen Ichiro:.....O...Oh! Ummm....

As Jen looks around quickly to see if there anywhere he can change without looking at him.

Jen Ichiro: Oh there's a bathroom just over there. I'll just wait here when you're ready.

Richard Draco: Okay thanks just give me a second I'll be right back.

As he quickly ran to the bathroom to transform. As he entered the bathroom Jen can hear Richard taking off his clothes as quickly as he could and when he was done he quickly transformed into his dragon form and walked out of the bathroom to head back to his friend.

Richard Draco: You know....this whole changing thing could be a bit of a problem if I'm going to keep doing this especially if I accidentally ripped my clothes off while transforming.

Jen Ichiro: Yeah I can tell but don't worry I think I can come up with something to fix that issue. Perhaps I can up with some superhero suit design ideas that is stretchable for you're dragon transformation but for now let's start off with you're powers first.

Jen opened his notebook and grabbed his pen to either check what he has and cross out the words that he dosen't have.

Jen Ichiro: Okay the first one is Super Streath...try lifting up that steel bar on the ground.

Richard Draco: Hmmm....it looks like it weighs a ton but I'll give it a try.

Richard walked toward the steel bar and began to get on his knees to place both of his hands to get a good grip at it and gave a good pull to lift it up. To his surprise Richard literally had no problem lifting the steel bar up.

Richard Draco: *giggle* Would you look at that I'm actually pretty strong in fact it feels soo light I can actually hold it with one hand!

As he let go of his right arm and hold the steel bar with just one arm showing Jen that he's Incredibly super strong.

Richard Draco: Dude I think I can probably lift up something even heavier than this!...Kinda makes me wonder if I have no limits to this?

Jen Ichiro: Beats me but at least now I know that you definitely have super streath.

Jen then marked a check on his notebook confirming that he has super streath. Richard then carefully put the steel bar down and waited for the next part.

Richard Draco: I wonder what else I can do I'm getting soo excited just thinking about it already!

Jen Ichiro: Oh don't worry...we're getting to the good part...let's begin.

Jen wasted no time on going on the list of powers he has written.

Jen Ichiro: Next one is....super speed.

Richard began to run as fast as he can from one side form the wear house to the other side however....nothing seems to have changed in speed and was just running normally so Jen just marked an X for no super speed.

Jen Ichiro: X-ray Vision.

Richard looked at the wall to see if he can see anything through it unfortunately nothing happened and he just shrugged meaning he can't do it so Jen marked another X for no X-ray Vision.

Jen Ichiro: Well that sucks I was hoping that kind of power should come in handy....on the other hand.....I think it's for the best.

As he moved on with the next part.

Jen Ichiro: Alright let's see if you have Lazer Eyes. Try cutting that steel bar you just pick up in half.

Richard Draco: Well okay here goes.

He glared at the steel bar to try and shoot lazers from his eyes but nothing happened.

Richard Draco: Sorry Jen no lazer eyes for me.

As he felt a bit disappointed.

Jen Ichiro: Yeah I'd figured you wouldn't have it either.

Jen marked another X for no Lazer Eyes so he moved on to the next one.

Jen Ichiro: Ooh how about Night Vision.

Richard Draco: Night Vision?....we'll....shouldn't that work if it's really dark?

Jen Ichiro: You're right....we're going to have to the bathroom for this one seeing that there's no power in this building.

As Jen and Richard got in the bathroom Jen was near the door preparing to close it.

Jen Ichiro: Okay I'm going to close the door now so it should be dark enough to trigger your Night Vision abilities. Are you ready?

Richard Draco: Yep totally ready.

Jen then began closing the door and when he did the room went completely pitch black. Richard's dragon eyes began to trigger his new abilities which ables him to actually see in the dark.

Richard Draco: Hay I can totally see in the dark!

Jen Ichiro: Really...I can't see anything but just in case how many fingers do you see?

As he lifted five fingers from his left hand and the other hand he lifted only two fingers which is a total of seven fingers.

Richard Draco: Seven.

As he gave him the answer.

Jen Ichiro: Alright you actually have Night Vision that should definitely come in handy for stealth.

Jen then placed a check confirming he has Night Vision. Moments later Jen moved on to the next part were he placed a dummy as a target for Richard.

Jen Ichiro: Alright Richard this next one if pretty obvious and that is.....Fire Breath.

Richard Draco: Fire Breath!?....umm...Jen...I don't think it's a good idea for me to even try it out form the inside. What if I actually set the whole building on fire?

Jen Ichiro: Don't worry I've come prepared! I've brought myself a fire extinguisher just for situations like this so yeah safety first.

Richard Draco: Oh umm...we'll if you have that thing with you then it should be okay I guess but....can I even breathe fire?

Jen Ichiro: Only one way to find out but if you do breathe fire I'll start putting it out right away.

As Jen got his fire extinguisher ready.

Richard Draco: Well okay here's goes.

Richard then moved to the spot where the target is and began to take a deep breath and began to blow fire however the only thing that came out was a bit of smoke.

Jen Ichiro:.....umm.....is that supposed to happen?

Richard Draco: *cough*....aw man I thought it would be easy to do that.

Jen Ichiro: hmmm....Mybe you're doing it all wrong. From what I've read from stories about dragons and mostly movies I think the only way for you to breath fire is to get angry. Try thinking of something that makes you really angry and it should probably work.

Richard Draco: Are you sure that's gonna work?

Jen Ichiro: I don't know....but it's worth a shot. Just take your time on it whenever you're ready.

Richard Draco: We'll okay I'll give it a shot.

As he was trying to think of something to make him angry.

Richard Draco: (Okay so if I need to think of something that makes me angry....hmm...mybe...)

As he thought long and hard he did remembered his past were he started off as a freshman from high school we're other people tend to bully him because he was weak and called him a loser or a reject due to Bobby Joe's influence who was the worst of them all.

Flashback...

Bobby Joe: This is MY time to shine because I'm better than you in every way. You're a loser and always have been a loser and I we're you...I'd quit the team right now.

Flashback over...

Richard began to feel angry from what he said back then.

Flashback...

Bobby Joe: Well what do we have here!

As he took Richard's gift away from him to get a good look at it.

Richard Draco: !!

Bobby Joe: A limited edition of Captain America Deluxe Edition. Pretty hard to find some of these around.

Richard Draco: Hay Give it back Bobby!

As he quickly got back up to try and take it back from Bobby but to no avail since he was pushing him away to prevent Richard from taking it from him as he lifted his hand up making it very hard for Richard to reach it.

Bobby Joe: Hahaha are you serious? Not a chance.

Jen Ichiro: Dammit Bobby he said give it back!

As he charged at him to try to help Richard get it back for him but just when he was about grab it he shoved Richard once again and punched Jen in the gut making him go down on the ground in pain.

Richard Draco: Ichiro!

Despite everything that going on everyone in school was just standing there getting there cellphones up to record all this for messed up reasons while others are just disgusted at the bully but couldn't do anything about it because some of the students were afraid of him.

Bobby Joe: God you two are soo freaking week it's not even funny. I can't believe you're even friends with this loser.

Flashback over...

Those memories were beginning to fuel his anger and can feel something burnings within him as he continues to remember more of what makes him more angry.

Flashback...

Richard Draco: ALRIGHT FINE I'LL DO IT!!

Bobby Joe: huh....do what!?

As he stopped kicking his friend. As he stopped hurting Jen he looked down in defeat and just told him like it is.

Richard Draco:....I said I'll do it....I'll quit the team....happy now...

As hated doing it feeling humiliated.

Bobby Joe: Really....hahaha didn't thought you had it in you but it took you long enough to take the hint.

Richard Draco: Yeah whatever Bobby you got what you wanted now give me back my gift....

Bobby Joe: Sure thing kid.

As he was just about to hand him over his gift Bobby purposely dropped the box falling to the grand in a slow motion moment as Richard was in shock knowing what's coming next. As the box falls in the ground Bobby then smashed it really hard breaking the action figure from inside and Richard was loss for words as his gift was completely smashed and broken beyond repair.

Bobby Joe: Consider this as a farwell gift from you're truly hahahahaha looks like my job here is done. So long Richard the reject.

Flashback ended...

It was at that moment Richard has became soo furious he felt something burning within him to the point were he let it all out with one huge blow of his fire breath with a mighty dragon roare.

Richard Draco: RAOOOOOOOAR!!!

The fire ignited from his mouth aiming right at the dummy target which immediately catched on fire.

Jen Ichiro: Woah!

As he was caught of guard with the outburst of Richard's fire breath. As Richard stopped he quickly catched his breath to relax knowing that he actually can breathe fire.

Richard Draco: I....I did it....it actually worked! And man did that felt great.

As he was pleased with his results.

Jen quickly ran toward the dummy and quickly put out the fire with a fire extinguisher. When he was done putting it out he put the fire extinguisher away and went back to his notebook and picked up his pen.

Jen Ichiro: That's was pretty insane I guess getting angry breathe fire dose work so you definitely have Fire Breath which also means that you're a fire dragon.

Jen then marked a check confirming that he has Fire Breath.

Jen Ichiro: Okay now that we got that out of the way let's try something a bit...enduring...

Richard Draco: Wait....what do you mean by enduring?

Jen Ichiro: Well...this next one I have on the list is Body Of Steel. This power will determine if you're body or...scales is made of steel soo...

He picked up his backpack and grabbed what appears to be a gun.

Richard Draco: WHOA WHOA WHOA WHAT THE HELL BRO IS THAT A REAL GUN!?

Jen Ichiro: No not really It's actually a BB Gun.

Richard Draco: NO NO NO NO NO....EVEN IF IT'S THAT A BB GUN THAT'S GOING TOO FAR!!

Jen Ichiro: Okay okay I'm sorry I just wanted to be sure if you're body is maid of steel that all. I'll just put that one on hold for now.

As he put the BB Gun away.

Richard Draco: *sigh*.....not cool bro if I wanted to find out that by body is made of steel or something I would rather be shoot by someone else rather it be you.

Jen Ichiro: Yeah you're right it is going a bit too far and again I'm sorry. Let's just skip that for now and move on to something else.

Jen then left the part of Body Made of Steel with a question mark on his notebook. Moments later Richard and Jen we're on a different location only this time it was on top of a mountain hills of Coldwater Canyons.

Jen Ichiro: Okay this last part is one of my favorites and that is the power to Fly. Obviously you have wings so this should be the perfect spot to test out you're new wings. The winds are pretty good here so this could help you get a good head start.

Richard Draco: Ummm...I'm actually pretty nervous... I've never flown before.

As he was shaking a bit.

Jen Ichiro: A...are you afraid heights?

Richard Draco: I....I am actually....when I was 7 years old I remembered going on an airplane with my dad to go on a trip to Florida for our summer vacation and when we got high in the air I was...frightened and scared fearing that we would crash. The worst part is the thunderstorms...I shook the plane a bit when I heard it and I got soo scared I covered my ears and closed my eyes until we actually made it to Florida....I've never been so scared in my entire life.

Jen Ichiro: Oh....wow....I I'm soo sorry you had to go through that. I know flying could be scary sometimes especially on planes but this is different now. You're a dragon a fire-breathing dragon with wings. Dragon's from what I've heard rule the sky's just like birds do. I know this isn't saying much but in situations like this you have to face your fears and spit at the face of danger. Dragon's are fearless creatures and so should you. If you can conquer your fears you can do anything...I believe in you Richard.

As he gives him a thumbs up.

Richard Draco: Y....you're right Jen. If I'm gonna be a superhero dragon or whatever I'm gonna have to put my new wings to the test...*gulp*...well....here goes nothing.

Richard then closed his eyes and begins to flap his wings up and down. At first it felt weird because he's never used his wings attached to his back before which is pretty much like taking you're first step on two legs as a baby only it's his wings taking the first flaps.

Jen Ichiro: Try not to flap too hard try to take it slow and let the wind support your wings. You totally got this bro.

Richard did as he said and concentrate on flapping his wings nice and easy to let the wind support him. It didn't take long for him to notice that Richard was now beginning to float in the air as his feet were off the ground. As he was slowly going up in the air Richard slowly opened his eyes and noticed that he was now flying.

Richard Draco: H...hay I did it I'm flying!

Jen Ichiro: Stay focus Richard you don't want to lose your...

But just when he was about to say it Richard had lost balance as the wind was pushing him back.

Richard Draco: Wh...wha....wahhooooooo!

Richard then crash landed on a nearby tree and then back on the ground.

Jen Ichiro:.....concentration.

Jen ran toward Richard to check on him to see if he was okay.

Richard Draco: 😵‍💫💫...

Jen Ichiro: Are you okay buddy?

Richard Draco: Ohhh...my head....

Jen Ichiro: Should we try again another time?

As he was a bit worried.

Richard Draco: N...no I'm fine I can still keep going.

Jen Ichiro: Are you sure? You don't have to continue if you want to.

Richard Draco: Yes I'm sure I just need to try again...

Richard got back up on his feet and tried again only this time with his eyes open. He began flapping his wings once more and surly enough Richard was flying once again and kept his balance this time.

Richard Draco: O...Okay I think I'm beginning to get the hang of this. I'm gonna try and move around a bit just to see if I can control it.

Jen Ichiro: try to be careful you don't want to fall again.

Richard Draco: Don't worry I think I'm starting to figure it out.

Richard then started to fly around sideways and backwards. When he was done warming up he then began to fly around in circles adjusting his flying skills to the point of mastering it. He then looked down at Jen noticing he was high up and began to have that fear creeping back at him knowing full well that he was still afraid of heights but he shook his head out of that fear trying not to think about it.

Richard Draco: (No!....I can't let my fear get the better of me...not today or ever again.)

Richard then decided to go higher in the sky to confront his fears once and for all.

Jen Ichiro: Richard!....(what the heck dose he think he's doing he's going way too high!)

Richard flew soo high up to the sky that he finally came to a stop and saw a pretty good view at the city, town and the mountains. Richard was beginning to feel something different inside him and it wasn't fear at all In fact he felt a sense of excitement seeing how beautiful the view was....he felt alive and free.

Richard Draco: This....is....AWSOME!

Richard never felt so happy and alive in his entire life. He was soo happy that he began to fly around the skies doing all kinds of tricks and loop de loops and for the first time in his life he was no longer afraid of heights instead he was having the time of his life and having fun while flying around.

Richard Draco: WHOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!

as he was diving downward and upwards like a roller-coaster and after a short while he then began to slow down a bit with this flying he looked down once again to see the view once more.

Richard Draco: So...this is what it's like to truly be free and I'm beginning to understand why birds love the fly.

As he was smooth flying in the sky. He then notices a house that he was familiar with as his dragon eyes began to somehow zoomed in from a distance....it was actually his house.

Richard Draco: Whoa....I have Super Vision just by looking at it from a distance...I can literally see my house from here!

As he was happy to find out that he discovered another ability meanwhile Jen was using his binoculars he picked up from his backpack and saw Richard flying around in the sky.

Jen Ichiro: Looks like he's having the time of his life. Not only that but he's gotten over his fears pretty fast just by getting the hang of it....*sigh* of only that was me flying with him but hay...it is what it is...huh?

Jen noticed something else that was flying close to him and when he adjusted his binoculars he spotted what appears to be a hawk.

Jen Ichiro: Looks like you got company Richard.

Meanwhile back in the sky Richard heard a screeching noise that sounded like a lard bird and as he turned to his right side he noticed a hawk flying close to him however the hawk dosen't seem to have any interest in harming him.

Richard Draco: Oh hello there didn't see you there.

As he smiled looking at the hawk.

Richard Draco: I take it you're enjoying the view as well?

The hawk simply screeched.

Richard Draco: I'll take that as a yes.

Richard then noticed that the hawks wings were simply holding still but was also flapping less due to the wind supporting its wings as if it's gliding or hovering on air.

Richard Draco: Hmmm....you know....I kind of wondered why you birds tend to keep having you're wings opened without falling?...hmmm....I wonder...

Richard then gave that technique a try and adjusted his wings by doing what the hawk is doing by flapping less and kept his wings still by letting the wind support his wings and to his surprise it actually worked.

Richard Draco: Well what do you know it actually worked it actually feels much better! I don't know if you'll ever understand me but...thanks.

The hawk then flew flew faster as it began flapping its wings.

Richard Draco: *giggle* hay come back I was starting to get use to having you around...(man that bird is fast...makes me want to go faster too)

Richard then started to flap his wings faster to keep up with the hawk but then....suddenly Richard started to feel some tingling sensation like some kind of energy building up inside him and as it got even stronger his body began to show signs of what appears to br a glowing fiery orange aura surrounding his body.

Richard Draco: Huh?...what's happeniAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Then out of nowhere Richard bolted forwarded super fast like a speeding bullet passing the hawk and into the unknown until Richard can no longer be heard. Meanwhile Jen was caught off guard and saw Richard flew super fast and lost sight of him completely.

Jen Ichiro: What the!....we're did he go!?

Meanwhile Richard was in a state of panic knowing that he was going way to fast. He quickly stayed focused and tired everything he can to try and control his newly discovered Super Flight Speed. He couldn't tell were he was going but soon enough he tried to slow down without crashing into anything.

Richard Draco: (Holy crap I'm going way too fast! Come on come on slow down already!)

And it took him a while while speeding but when he finally was able to control it he came to a complete stop.

Richard Draco: *huff*...*huff*...*huff*....Holy crap what a rush that came out of nowhere!

As he was trying to calm down from what just happened.

Richard Draco: I think I just discovered I have Super Speed...no it was more like Super Flight Speed!....?....wait a second....we're exactly did I stopped?

Richard looked at his surroundings and realized where he was.

Richard Draco: Is this.....Japan!?

There was no denying it that Richard flew soo fast that he went to the other side of the world from being from California all the way to Japan that felt like seconds.

Richard Draco: No way I really am in Japan!...(this is nuts...first I was just flying around on my country and the next thing I know I'm all the way over here now so....how do I get back?)

As he wasn't too sure were to go from here.

Richard Draco: (well....seeing that it's night time here in Japan that would mean it's still daytime back home...which also means...💡! *gasp*...I can literally go around the world to explore!)

As he was feeling exited at the idea.

Richard Draco: I can't believe I'm doing this but *giggle* I always wanted to visit new places I've never been before so I guess I'll make this a quick one. Don't want to be gone for too long.

And with that Richard speed bolted to another country he wanted to visit. The first one was was Australia he flew by just to see the Sydney Opera House then he traveled to China to see The Great Wall of China then traveled to Africa to see the wild animals form a distance then he traveled to Brazil to see the Christ de Redeemer statue in Rio then....he traveled to New York City. As he traveled there he looked around the city checking out a few building and of course The Statue of Liberty.

Richard Draco: So this is New York city...I've heard a lot of things happen here I wonder what Spider-Man is doing?...pretty sure he's busy fighting bad guys as we speak. It's a shame I won't find him soo easily.

He continued to fly around until he saw a particular building that caught his interest.

Richard Draco: Oh is that The Avengers Building!?...oh man if that place was open I would totally join the Avengers team...to bad it's it dosen't seem to be open though...Oh well perhaps I'll pay another visit some other time. I'll just look around just a few more minutes then it's straight back home.

As he continues to look around he was still pretty impressed that he'd went around the world with just a few minutes which didn't feel like hours due to his incredible speed but then...his new abilities began to kick in again only this time it was his dragon ears that for some reason he can hear someone ranting about a certain someone from a mile away.

Richard Draco: (what the...is it just me or am I hearing things?....no wait....I think I may have Super Hearing as we! But we're is that yelling coming form?)

As he began to follow the sound coming from the direction he was hearing. As he got closer he soon stopped at a building called The Daily Bugle. As he went a bit closer his hearing abilities revealed who that person was ranting and it was none other than J. Jonah Jameson who is the man in charge of The Daily Bugle.

Richard Draco: Is that who I think it is?

As he was shocked to find someone like him around through the window of the building.

Richard Draco: (That's J. Jonah Jameson...I've heard about him before. My dad used to watch his program regarding Spider-Man...that is...until he stopped watching it...I think he told me that his speech is....how should I put it....somewhat of a joke...but I wonder...what he's saying right now?)

As he used his Super Hearing from a distance listening to J. Jonah Jameson.

J. Jonah Jameson: Spider-Man is nothing but a criminal! You may fool people believing Spider-Man is doing good in this city and that he's a hero but he can't fool me! For all I know know Spider-Man could be working for the supervillains just so he can reek havoc to city just for his own twisted entertainment and fame!

As he rambles on about how bad Spider-Man is.

Richard Draco: (...*tch*...now I know why my dad dosen't watch his programs anymore...this guys an asshole. Glad we don't have someone like him we're I'm from.)

As he was pretty annoyed listening to him.

J. Jona Jameson: And another thing why is Spider-Man always wears a mask!? Because he's a cowards hiding his true identity to avoid the truth!

Then the recorder spotted something behind J. Jona Jameson as he was speaking.

The recorder: Umm...sure there's something watching you from behind..

Richard Draco: (*gasp* CRAP!)

Richard then bolted out of there avoiding Jona form seeing him.

J. Jonah Jameson: hu?....That better not be Spider-Man! You see folks...this is why Spider-Man is a menace!

As Richard flew higher in the air away from the buildings he was relieved that he didn't get caught.

Richard Draco: *wiew*....that was close I almost got spotted. I should probably head back home now. Mybe the next time I visit I hope I'll see Spider-Man I'm person someday.

And with that Richard bolted strategy back to California. Meanwhile Jen was looking at his cellphone checking on the time.

Jen Ichiro: (He's been gone for an hour now...I hope nothing bad happened to him.)

As he was getting worried but continues to wait for him. As he put his cellphone away he grabbed his binoculars again to look around to see any signs of his friend.

Jen Ichiro: Come on we're are you...we're did you go....hu?

Jen then spotted something coming in fast and as he adjusted his binoculars he spotted his friend flying right toward him.

Jen Ichiro: *gasp* There he is!

Jen then quickly put down his binoculars and waved his arms around trying to get him to come here. Richard saw Jen from a distance and began to fly right towards him and slowly began to land safely on the ground.

Jen Ichiro: Dude we're did you go? You just bolted out and disappeared.

Richard just smiled and explained to him what happened.

Richard Draco: *giggle* turns out I have Super Flight Speed and I just literally traveled around the world. I also discovered that I have Super Vision and Super Hearing while I was in New York.

Jen Ichiro: Wait....you went around the world!?

Richard Draco: Yep...pretty cool huh? At first I couldn't control my speed but after getting used to it I ended up in Japan but eventually made my way to New York and I stood there for a good few minutes. Too bad I didn't bring a camera though.

Jen Ichiro: Dude.....that's insane!

Richard Draco: I know right this is awesome! Best....weekend....ever!

Jen Ichiro: I'm just glad you're okay.

Richard Draco: Yeah sorry about that but again it came out of nowhere but I got used to it in the end.

Jen Ichiro: We'll at least know I know that you two new powers you discovered. I'll just mark these out to confirm it.

As he picked up his notebook and cross a check on Super Hearing and adjusted the Super Speed changing it into Super Flight Speed and market a check and last but not least Super Vision as a check.

Jen Ichiro: Man you have quite a lot of abilities but I think we should call it a day. I really need to get back home before my dad leaves to work. My dad said to keep an eye on the house while he's gone and If I don't get back sooner till 5:30pm I'll probably be grounded.

Jen looked as his cellphone to check on the time and realized that it's now 5:25pm.

Jen Ichiro: Oh crap it's already 5:25pm my dad's gonna kill me!

Richard Draco: I think I can help with that.

Jen Ichiro: Wait...you can?

Richard Draco: Sure I'll carry you over there in no time.

Jen Ichiro: Really...well...okay just try not to drop me okay?

Richard Draco: Don't worry I won't just hold on tight.

And with that Richard picked up Jen with both of his arms and carried him while flying home. Moments later they made it just in time heading to the backyard but near a window leading to Jen's rooms. Jen then opened the window and climb into his room while Richard was still flying outside.

Jen Ichiro: Thanks for helping get back home you're a lifesaver.

Richard Draco: No problem buddy. You know...I'm starting to like being a dragon.

Jen Ichiro: *giggle* yeah I can tell just by how happy you are. You know...I was thinking...what will you be calling yourself now that you're a superhero?

Richard Draco: huh?...ummm...we'll...I'm not too sure yet. I've been so caught up discovering my new powers that I never stopped to think what kind of name I want to call myself.

Jen Ichiro: Hmm...💡hay I think I might know what I should call you!

Richard Draco: Really?...what is it?

Jen Ichiro: Okay hear me out how about...The American Dragon!

As Richard gave a long pause with that sort of name.

Richard Draco:........yeah no I'm not calling myself that😒....

As he didn't like the idea.

Jen Ichiro: Okay Okay how about Dragon's Fire?

Richard Draco: That name sounds lame.

Jen Ichiro: How about Dragon Blazer?

Richard Draco: No that dosen't works for me either.

Jen Ichiro: Oh come on that sounds totally legit! Okay buddy mybe what do you think you should call yourself then?

Richard Draco: Hmmm....

Richard thought about it long and hard until suddenly he remembered being in New York early listening to J. Jona Jameson talking about Spider-Man all the time which gave him a pretty good idea what he should call himself.

Richard Draco: Well....how about Dragon-Man? That name dose have a good ring to it just like Spider-Man if you take away the Spider title. It's actually pretty straight forward and simple too.

Jen Ichiro: Hmm...yeah that does actually sound a lot better....yeah I like it! From now on you shall be known as...Dragon-Man. Now all you need is a super suit to add the final touch but it should be a while before I can come up with some design ideas to commission it.

Richard Draco: Sounds like a plan but I guess in the meantime I'll just have to deal with going around like this naked....umm....speaking of which you don't happen to have my clothes do you?

Jen Ichiro: Of course I do.

As he checked on his backpack searching for his clothes that he remembered since he transformed and handed it back to Richard.

Jen Ichiro: Here you go buddy just be sure nobody sees you when you get back home.

Richard Draco: Thanks Jen.

As Jen handed him his clothes.

Jen Ichiro: No problem....say I was wondering...the next time you transform into a dragon again can you at least say dragon up?

Richard Draco: Yeah no I'm not saying that...

Jen Ichiro: Oh come on please just this once?

Richard Draco: I'll probably sound ridiculous and besides who even says that line really?

Jen Ichiro: At least say it once bro you'll probably like it.

Richard Draco: I'll.....think about it.

Jen Ichiro: Well if you're going to think about it then I guess I'll respect your decision but in the meantime tou should head back home before my dad gets back but I'll be seeing you again tomorrow.

Richard Draco: Same thing like before?

Jen Ichiro: definitely and afterwards we can go check out that new movie at the theaters.

Richard Draco: Oh that's right that one movie sequel that we've been waiting for! I'll definitely be there.

Jen Ichiro: take care buddy.

Richard Draco: You too Jen.

And with that Richard flew away waving goodbye to his friend while Jen did the same. Moments later Richard flew all the way back to his house and into the backyard without being seen and when he landed and entered the shed to close the door behind him he changed back into his human form and quickly put his clothes back on and walked out of the shed and headed to the back door of the house and unlocked it with the house key that his dad gave him while he was away. As he entered the his home he went straight to the kitchen to get something to eat after a long day of discovering his new powers. As he opened the fridge he noticed that there are still some leftover birthday cake from yesterday. Richard smiled at thought of what happened to him yesterday during his last days as a football player.

Richard Draco: You know...despite everything that happened to me this turned out to be the best birthday gift I ever had...not just the present my friend gave me or the fact that I won a trophy for winning the football game...but I actually got a wish that actually came true.

Richard then took a big slice of cake and headed towards the living room to watch some anime on the flat screen tv. Moments later at Jen's home it was already getting dark and Jen was in the dining room eating with his parents. His dad's named is Kiyohsi Ichiro and his mother was Akari Ichiro and when they were having dinner his mother was the first to speak with his son.

Akari Ichiro: So how did it go today with you're friend today?

Jen Ichiro: We've been doing pretty good mom. We've been doing pretty interesting stuff like traveling and stuff...nothing too major.

Akari Ichiro: Sounds like you two were having fun together.

Kiyohsi Ichiro: Isn't you're friends that boy who just won the football game last night?

Jen Ichiro: Well yeah he's been my friend since middle school and he's actually really nice once you get to know him.

Kiyohsi Ichiro: hmm....I see.

Jen Ichiro: so I've heard from my mom that your heading back to work already?

Akari Ichiro: You're father was invited to the party to celebrate his boss to his 50th anniversary.

Jen Ichiro: I mean....do you really have to go dad?

Kiyohsi Ichiro:.....I simply must attend to his celebration party. Not showing up to honor him would be dishonorable. You'll understand when you become a business man someday.

Jen Ichiro: I don't know if I want to be a business man...I actually want to be a UFC fighter and go pro but I also want to be an actor star to be part of a superhero movie someday.

Akari Ichiro: Are you sure you want to do that?...UFC fighter's do tend to get hurt you know.

Kiyohsi Ichiro: *hmp*....it is not wise to choose something you cannot handle...

Jen Ichiro: I know that dad but that's what I want to do. Sure I'll get hurt no matter what but this is my decision and I want to get good enough to be an actor as well in the future.

Kiyohsi Ichiro: hmmm....

As he was not pleased at his son's decision. His father really wanted to talk some sense regarding his future however...his watch began to beep knowing that it was time for him to leave.

Kiyohsi Ichiro: We will discuss this at another time but in the meantime you will stay here with you're mother until I get back....I will decide rather or not you will join.

And with that he got up from the chair and head straight to the door leaving to his job once again.

Akari Ichiro: You're father isn't angry at you son he's just a bit optimistic but I'm sure he will think about it when he gets back.

As her mother was trying to cheer him up.

Jen Ichiro:...*sigh*....I hope you're right mom....

Meanwhile somewere near the Kazumi corporation building six of the groups were in a van and Phil being one of the group hacked into the system security cameras as was able to see everyone entering the building including Kiyohsi Ichiro who happens to be the one of the people they were looking for.

Boris: Hehehe...looks like everyone has made it to the party right on time.

Garry: Hay Iv'an are those bots ready to deploy?

Iv'an: As soon as everyone is inside I'll begin setting everything up around the building.

Phil: this is gonna be a cake walk form here.....oh man now I'm hungry all of a sudden.

As he was thinking form his stomach.

Carlos: Stop whining...as sooner we get this mission done the sooner you can eat whatever you like.

Boris: Remember to stick with the plan. Once these robots are activated we will be unstable and all that money and that advance chip will be as good as hours.

As he was making a sinister smile.

Boris: And besides....with this amount of robots armies who's gonna stop us hahahahaha!
