Deciding that it was high time I put my previous real world skills to use I head into town and ask the local blacksmith if I can purchase some raw materials and use his shop. "I'll need 30 sheets of high grade dragoniam ( a metal as thin as clothing but stronger than tungsten or diamond ) 2 boxes of dragoniam bolts ( to screw together the pieces of armor ) and as many electrical wires and circuitry that your shop possesses."
The blacksmith is silent for a second while he contemplates my request. "That will wipe me out of dragoniam sheets and bolts but I have plenty of wires and circuitry plus some AI level battery modules.... all together its gonna be 3 diamond coins or 30 gold coins."
"Money isn't a problem good Sir." Pulling out a bag of coins I seperate 30 gold and slide it across the bar. Raising an eyebrow the blacksmith nods and begins grabbing everything I bought and placing it beside the workbench. "I don't have any orders today so take your time I'm quite curious to see what you intend to build with all that."
I thank the blacksmith and grab a pair of smithing gloves as I fire up the forge and feed it with the bellows. Having already taken all my measurements with Scarlett's help this morning I knew exactly what shape every single piece of the armor needed to be (in total 13 pieces of dragoniam plate armor would form my suit)

Dragoniam calf and leg guards - all 4 pieces require two overlapping sheets of dragoniam and provide 15 protection each ( 60 total )

Dragoniam arm and shoulder guards - all 4 pieces require two overlapping sheets of dragoniam and provide 15 points of protection ( 60 total )

Dragoniam chest plate - requires 8 sheets of dragoniam layered and arranged to form dragon scales and provides 150 points of protection

Dragoniam helmet - requires 2 sheets of dragoniam and provides 30 points of protection

Weight - 15 pounds. due to Dragoniam being such a light metal this armor is practically weightless compared to its armor class .

After 6 hours of working non stop the armor is complete the result being a dark blue set of extremely light close fitting armor that has natural resistence to bullets and explosions and immunity to knives. the best part is that I used the wires, and circuitry to create boots that make me step silently and give me plus 50% movement speed. Added to my fleet foot ability I can now move as fast as a car and make no sound while doing so.
The second benefit is that all this blacksmithing has gained me enough experience to level up twice. Choosing to transfer all my stamina upgrades to health this time I gain 200 points of health and 4 perk points which I shove into intelligence.

The massive intelligence boost leaves my mind temporarily stunned as the world becomes clearer and every thing I look at suddenly makes more sense as I have an increased understanding of the world and how it works. Using another couple of gold coins I purchase some tungsten and craft 8 spikes that I integrate to the knuckles of my armor allowing my unarmed strikes to deal damage

Spiked Dragoniam gauntlets
Defense - 10 points
Damage - 26 base damage = equal to the defense of the gauntlets plus my strength. ( this will increase as my strength improves )

Of course as a pugilist i also receive damage bonuses and using these gauntlets with my slow motion strikes perk will allow me to deal out a tremendous amount of damage at a moments notice. Thanking the blacksmith for his shop I precede to walk out into the town and find a tree. Taking a deep breath I punch as hard as I'm able and my fist travels through the tree trunk causing it to shatter and send pieces of wood flying as I am forced to guide the tree to the ground away from any buildings.
"My god these things are even more powerful than I imagined they would be" Dragging the tree to a open patch of ground I precede to wail on the tree for a little over 3 minutes until it is reduced to branches and wood chips. breathing heavily I check the gauntlets and am amazed to see no scratches dents or any obvious signs that they just went 1 on 1 with a giant tree trunk!
Taking the gauntlets off and storing them in my inventory I head into the inn for a tankard of soda and some poutine ( a canadian cuisine consisting of French fries , cheese curds and brown gravy. dont knock it till you've had it) Tipping the inn keeper with a couple silver coins I sit down and realize how comfortable this armor really is. ' I don't even need to add padding this dragoniam feels as smooth and soft as silk on the inside'
After my meal I walk around town a little aimlessly while I decide whether to stay on Arenus or pay the gold coin fee to charter an interplanetery ship. With my new armor and almost 1000 health points I'm more than prepared for another planet but if I stay here I can dominate a few more arena matches and maybe get a reputation before I head out. Yeah that's what I'll do.
With a solid plan in mind I begin walking across town at a leisurely pace, well about the speed of a horse but leisurely for me, towards the main arena to see when the next big event is and pre-register.
