Sudden Kidnapping
"What?" Those words escaped Kai's mouth upon hearing Emily's words.
"It's Mia and Mark. I can't find them anywhere! Where on earth could they be?" Emily mumbled to herself.
"I don't think that they went to pee." Kai thought with a frown as he could feel mana in the snow. If that is the case then this is someone's magic and it can be a possible kidnapping. What he heard next confirmed his thoughts.
-" Where's Chris?"
-" Where's Anna?"
-" Euryan!! Where are you?"
Several voices could be heard calling out to their children but it didn't get a reply.
"Who couldn't have.. Whoa!!" A light of beam interrupted Kai's thoughts as he dodged to the side.
"DIE!!" James declared
"Bro, give it a rest!!" Kai voiced out
"What's going on?" Emily said as with a confused look.
"Huh, isn't that?" Emily mumbled as she noticed a familiar elderly figure approaching them while Kai dodged to dodge James light beams.
"This is someone's magic, a magic that controls the mind of others but it's limited to children." The Elderly sister spoke out with a nun behind her.
"A few of our kids at the monastery were taken as well. I wonder what they want with those kids?" She added.
"Surely you don't mean..." Before James could finish, the sister confirmed his fears.
"Yes, May was taken as well." She said with a slight frown.
Hearing her words, James gritted his teeth and grabbed her, raising her upwards.
"YOU STUPID OLD HAG, HOW COULD YOU BE SO CARELESS!! YOU WERE RIGHT THERE, TELL ME WHAT YOU WERE DOING THAT YOU MISSED A GROUP OF KIDS LEAVING THE CHURCH. ANSWER ME!!" James said with anger in his eyes. Although he said that, he was only worried about his sister, the other kids didn't matter to him.
"You never change. Hit me if you want, but it won't solve our current predicament." The elderly sister voiced out.
"You're right about that, But I don't hit you, I won't feel better." James said as he raised and threw his right fist towards the elderly sister's face.
"Sister Teresa!!" The young nun behind shouted out.
But before James fist could connect with Sister Teresa's face, Kai swiftly grabbed his James right hand with a tight grip.
"Hey! Calm DOWN!!!" Kai said before headbutted James into the ground filled with snow below. Luckily for James, the snow helped to cushion his fall.
"Aaaaah, that hurt like hell, you little shit!" James shouted out as he held his bleeding head with one hand.
"It better did! You're magic knight, right? Aren't you supposed to look for clues instead of bullying an elderly lady!" Kai voiced out with an disappointed look. He didn't think that there will be a magic knight as useless like this.
"Ah!" James said as If remembering something important and said, "May has a mirror of mine that I let her always carry.. It's an communication device which if I can trace, I should be able to find her."
"WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO SOONER!!" Kai angrily shouted at James for being irresponsible.
"Alright, we don't have time to waste! James track your sister and I will flow along." Kai voiced out and James responded by nodding.
"Wait! I'm coming along as well." Sister Teresa suddenly spoke out.
"Sister, you should leave this to us." Kai refused.
"No! As much as I hate to admit it, she's someone quite capable." James said with a calm look.
"Kai!" Emily suddenly called out as they were prepared to leave, causing Kai to turn around.
"Mark is a little silly and Luka doesn't know when to shut up, so I'm worried... if anything happens to them, I'll...." She said with an worried expression.

Emily suddenly received an attack on her head, Kai performed a Karate chop on her head. Although he did so lightly, Emily could still feel pain.
She held her head and looked at Kai with a questioning look, "What was that for?" was what is she thinking. As if reading her mind, Kai said.
"Don't worry, I will definitely bring them back! So just wait here to welcome them back." Kai declared onto Emily who had tears in her eyes.
"Oh right, inform the magic knights or the guild about this." After leaving this words, Kai and sister Teresa followed James as he traced his mirror mana.

Within a snowy cave, several children could be seen sitting on the rough ground of the cave facing two men and a machine.
One of the men had a lean build with long white hair and he was wearing a long sleeved white shirt, white pants and black shoes
While the other man was a round, middle-aged man with green eyes, long black hair, and large lips. He wears black clothing with metal studs, a light grey scarf, a belt, black bracelets with studs, black boots, and Windsor glasses.
The children sat on the ground with an lifeless expression. Clearly, these were the missing children.
"Hey! Why did you need this much kids anyways?" The white haired man suddenly asked.
"Noah, are you an Idiot? I've already explained this to you, I asked to do so because we are going to drain all of their mana." The man with long black hair replied to his younger brother's stupid question.
"How, Blake? These kids haven't even awakened their origin, so how are we going drain their mana?" Noah asked confused.
"Well, that is what people may think, but that is not the case." Blake paused before he continued.
"Mana as you know is an energy hidden deep in our cells that allows us to use magic. For someone who haven't awakened their magic origin, their mana was remain stagnant and residue in their core." He explained before Noah interrupted.
"I know that but how are you going to drain their mana?" Noah asked.
"Simple, this machine here will do the job for us, It forcefully drains the mana residing in their core and changes it into Liquid form. The leader of the Night Eye is a genius for creating such a device." Blake said as he pointed towards the machine.
"Now then, let's move on to important matters at hand." Blake said as he looked towards the children with a devious smile.
