More than a week has passed since Kyren returned and his secret organization was in full gear, preparing for something big. Maya has now taken a thorough break after her prolonged and difficult period of work and she's already gotten back to managing everything. During this period, she obtained contact with the tamer in the capital regarding Tempest and surmised that it would take a couple of months to even have a chance to successfully bond with her. The tamer has never once worked with a behemoth and Maya described him as overwhelmingly excited. He was indeed as eccentric as Krista described him.
She wasn't alone with her workload this time when she came back. It was exponentially smaller compared to before. Kyren and Leo helped her with internal matters and management while Krista expanded her leadership to all personal temporarily, not just the combat ones.
Tyler's old job and expertise were considerably broad because he was usually transferred from department to department. This was due to someone up in really high management of his company having an extremely negative opinion of him. He was given excessive workloads and little pay just because of an "accident" that this petty person just couldn't get over!
Before he was able to get a large raise, promotion, or anything else positive for his future, he would be transferred and forced to start from square one in a new environment with far too few skills. He couldn't get out of that miserable loop for years no matter how hard he tried, even with the help of Andrew's family who was just barely not powerful enough to stand up for him. That person just had too much influence and power for him to run away or seek help either. Just to get away from the company, he had to sell his old house and do other things to afford the ludicrous termination fee that he was roped into.
It was an overly complicated situation that's restrained his ambitions his entire adult life, but at least he gained a reasonable amount of knowledge in a large variety of fields...
Rayna was more of emotional support and moral boost because she didn't have any specialization like the other girls and Darien. She could absolutely learn with her potential, but she preferred being by her master's side as a bodyguard.
They already booked a medium-sized arena that could hold tens of thousands of people for the upcoming events. No one who received Maya's invitation had arrived in Kassio yet, but that was apart of the plan.
Thousands of people that were all under Maya and Krista came from across the Empire to Kassio after receiving a notice earlier than the nobles did. Everyone was here to witness the official birth of the organization they were working so hard for.
The plan was to meet them first before the big shots came, under the guise of an important speech from their big boss so that Kyren could use his Apex Reaper proficiency, [Karma Sight], on all of them in one go.
This proficiency gave him the ability to automatically see the general karma and ethical value of any NPCs and some players. If they committed wrongs before coming to work for him and weren't all that ethical or moral, he would know. If they committed wrongs but were morally good and ethical, or at the very least neutral, he would know. If they were perfect little angels, he would know after a quick double-take.
This ability tied in with the whole "judge/bringer of death" concept of the Reaper. This class was a specialist type combat class in the stealth category, and by mortal standards, had exceptional difficulty to learn. Since he was definitely stronger than everyone, the reliability of the results was practically guaranteed.
So long as they weren't totally corrupt or had bad intentions, he would only put them on Maya's watchlist at most, only letting go of those that seemed like liabilities. For those that seemed trustworthy and had great potential, they would be given more resources and the ability for higher positions, even if they did some wrongs in the past.
This would finally allow the girls to promote people under them to higher positions so that their workload would decrease.
He was going to use an adapted version of the present-day Monolith Foundation to structure his organization so everything could operate smoothly when the business started up. They handled military, business/financial, and political affairs among countless other things so they were a magnificent reference for him. All he needed to do was mold it so that it could work in this vast fantasy world.
He didn't plan on using people for menial labor which would make up a majority of the jobs, but instead the super high-quality golems and silhouettes that Maya's been continuously buying up anonymously. They were breathtakingly expensive even for a high noble, but was money really a problem for him when he could sell his body parts? Plus, the maintenance was far less than real people and they never got tired as long as they had enough mana and people to oversee them.
Monolith also had the Pillars of Monolith to manage specific aspects of the organization which they greatly depended on to create a firm structure. He would probably do something similar once the scale of his operations expanded to a certain point and he found those he trusted. So far, Maya and Krista were the only major leaders under him and that's all he needed for now.
If everything went as planned, he and his organization's future was blindingly bright.
.....
The last few people sat down and glanced at each other with excitement. All of them were of many different races and origins so the crowd was unique. Even though the arena could fit tens of thousands of people and only a few thousand were seated, the positive atmosphere seemed to fill the entire colosseum.
Maya has done very little recruiting or hiring besides Havoc's player party, who wasn't present, so everyone here were mostly the ex-slaves that didn't go their separate ways. They all either idolized or revered Kyren with a small few worshipping him. They were slightly nervous to see their big boss for the second time.
Up high in the most luxurious balcony where the arena's sponsors and influential individuals would usually sit was Krista, Maya, and Rayna in their dragon mask disguises along with Darien's family. One seat in the middle of them was vacant and grander than the others.
Suddenly, the mana in the surroundings fluctuated incredibly and became energetic as it surged in a synchronized rhythm. A considerably large gate appeared in the center for all to see and everyone's hearts stopped and they made faces of awe.
Out walked a man with a vibrant purple and metallic black dragon mask. It was far more majestic and tyrannical than the girls' masks. It was beautifully paired with a black suit that seemed to suck in any light and an exquisite lavender and purple striped tie. A decorative band was slung over his left shoulder and it was made of faintly glowing purple dragon spikes. His figure was stunning and he gave off a mysterious air of dominance and prestige like no other true noble, or even high noble they've ever seen.
He stretched his arms out wide and the crowd erupted. They didn't recognize his appearance but his familiar aura was imprinted onto their minds ever since that day, so they immediately knew who it was.
As soon as his hands lowered, everyone quieted instantly with only a few hushed whispers passing through the crowd.
He turned around extremely slowly as he seemingly looked at every individual person, making them feel special and recognized. After Leo memorized every single cryptic number above each head, Kyren began to speak in a magically disguised and deeper voice that reached every ear loud and clear, "I personally welcome you all to our first annual meeting! Thank you all for coming..."
<The proficiency [Charismatic Leader] has upgraded to [Advanced Charismatic Leader].>
There was a brief round of applause before he continued, "With both your hard work and my undivided support, I not only strongly believe that this recently birthed organization will become a giant of the Alvestine Empire, but a behemoth of the entire continent of Lumeria! You have my word that I shall not rest until I see that day.
Our unstoppable destiny awaits the firm grip of your hands. All we need to do is devote ourselves to working hard to grasp it tight and let no one take it from us. Whether it be financial or armed power, we shall not lose out, but go above and beyond everyone's expectations!
No longer are we an organization without structure or purpose. No longer will we hide in the shadows for today is our birth. No longer will we sit idly by as we watch others take the unclaimed riches and fame that you all so rightfully deserve. No longer are we an organization with no name. The foundations have been laid and the framework has been put up. We shall rise to challenge those at the top and keep growing.
Thank you all for choosing to help Draconic Genesis to a brighter future. You may all call me Violet Dragon or Lord Angevin, whichever you prefer..."
He gave a long pause to let his charismatic and influential words sink in. Around twenty seconds later and a thunderous cheer and applause shook the ground with even more excitement than before. Not only were they finally given a name, but also a future to look forward to. A common goal or dream would go a long way for future morale and he knew this all too well.
"On a serious note....." He began to talk about the organization's internal structure, current and future operation, pay and the value of merits or actions, punishments for corruption or abuse of power, along with many other things that helped them visualize the path they would take. They showed the same astonished reactions to the stunning quality of the internal structure as Maya and Krista did when they first heard it. It was based on one of the greatest and most powerful organizations on Earth, so it was a given that it was unreasonably sturdy and promising.
Once he finished his speech, he used [Teleportation] to appear on the balcony and sat down. Because this was an arena, why wouldn't he pay for some entertainment to increase cohesion even if it was only slightly? The main events were fights between beast ranked creatures and other beasts or hired gladiators. It was slightly barbaric for his taste but everyone seemed to enjoy it, and due to the presence of magic, it was much more colorful and safe than without it. There were also a few plays, races, and other forms of entertainment that the arena officials prepared. Gold coins went a long way.
.....
It was nighttime and everyone left extremely satisfied. Kyren's inner circle headed to Darien's place through a [Gate] because his wife offered dinner, so everyone happily obliged.
Nobles and other big shots would be starting to arrive over the next few days before the meeting date set by Maya.
They were all seated around the humble dining room table while harmoniously chattering and eating good homemade food.
Kyren chuckled at the inviting atmosphere, "Hehe, I don't like speeches all that much, but I believe I did a fine job today."
Maya joyfully laughed along with him as she raised her drink, "That's a given! Shall we toast to Draconic Genesis and our bright future?"

Serena was sent to bed and they proceeded to drink the night away.
