Kyren didn't even get to see the notifications after the evolution notice and he collapsed with a large thud. He was still in his dragon form because he was unconsciously confident that his evolution would destroy his brand new clothes.
The pain reducer was in full effect but his body still yearned to pass out or just give up on life entirely. The process of his cells getting destroyed and rebuilt occurred more times than last time, on a bigger scale too, because of his evolutionary skip and mutation. He felt so much anguish that he couldn't consciously feel his body or mind yet there was still somehow pain.
The old man looked towards the direction of the sudden and severe pressure spike and he was petrified. His draconic disciple was writhing around as choked screams/roars of suffering tried their best to escape his muzzle. Kyren's body inflated and warped as bright purple veins grew all over him, making him speculate that he somehow came into contact with the ichor like the creatures did. There wasn't a golden glow coming from beneath his scales so he quickly ruled that out.
As he was still stunned and guessing on what to do, the dragon's body began to grow and mutate like a monstrous aberration. A new pair of wings sprouted and intimidating horns/spikes jutted out of his scaly hide.
NPCs hardly ever go through instant evolution like the players so he was at a complete loss on what to do or what was happening. Usually, evolution was discreet, slow, and methodical with no or little pain involved.
Rayna did go through instant evolution but it was far different than what was happening to Kyren. Typically, blood pacts would notify the other of any pain on this level but since they were in entirely different dimensions, she was clueless while she carried out the task her master gave her.
The old man settled for using his mana and spells to try and aid him. He also noticed his disciple's power grade growing rapidly as though it was suppressed by a curse or restrictive spell before.
"*Sigh* The gods must be playing tricks on this poor old man's heart..."
.....
The thousand-year-old Void Master had the honor of being in the presence of the overworld's strongest individuals before they went extinct during the Void Armageddon. The Transcendent Realm beings, in particular, were like stars compared to even the strongest of mortals.
But the power level that kyren finally stopped at was a grade above even histories finest. Since the Transcendent Realm was so depressingly difficult to reach, those who did soon realized that going to any higher grades of power was just too incredibly arduous. This resulted in a generalization of Transcendent Realms with the first level of power being the commonly accepted limit.
Every recorded transcendent in history has only ever reached the first grade of their realm, the T~grade which is right after the Mortal Realm S~grade. Kyren on the other hand easily surpassed them and set foot into the next grade, the U~grade.
Kyren started to calm down after hours of torture and he was getting his bearings, slightly dizzy and shaky from using so much energy to evolve. If he didn't have that huge meal with Rayna during their date, he would be in a far worse state.
Now that his mind was somewhat clear, he noticed irregularities with his body. The most apparent thing was his new size, it wasn't as large as the continental dragon but his current physique was worlds stronger and more intimidating looking.
His overly thick scales were now a further stunning metallic-obsidian black with each scale being so intricate, they all looked like works of art.
Two pairs of wings spread out on his back. The ones close to his shoulder blades were humongous while the two on his lower back, close to his hip, were smaller but not in any way lacking compared to his main pair.
An extremely long and muscular tail slithered in the air behind him with miniature spikes lining the sides and top. On the tip were some lethal-looking large spikes that weren't there before.
The horns on his head multiplied both in number and detail. Although all of them were exceedingly menacing, his two primary horns were the most domineering. They extended out of his forehead towards the air in front of him but then turned backward, making a "C" shape.
Some other differences were his mouth and chest. The originally normal jaw was able to open far wider than before as the corner of his lips reached a third of the way past his cheeks. Extraordinarily big, sharp and faintly serrated teeth lined his jaw.
His torso was more robust and grand as it puffed out slightly more. In the center was a captivating onyx black crystal the size of a yoga ball and in the shape of one of those "Boom" or "Kapow" speech bubbles in superhero comics. This crystal was only a small fraction of his creature-core which he didn't expect to appear externally.
His appearance changed drastically and this would take even more getting used to. Other than that, he felt quite normal despite the already diminishing weakness in his body. He thought he would've felt different from the insane power boost he gained, but he felt completely natural.
He raised his right claw to make a casual wave to test out his new power but a voice stopped him cold.
<Don't do that!!>
'Leo!?!'
<Now that you've somehow gained transcendental power, I was able to force myself awake..... By the way, I know you have the highest quality growth potential imaginable, but how did you level up so ridiculously fast?!>
'I'll tell you later. Why can't I test my powers here?'
<You'll be severely punished for obliterating a sizable chunk of the Turbulent World. Moreover, I don't think you want to kill the old geezer over there.
You might not feel any different now, but a decisive strike to the air by you can be far more devastating than any nuclear weapon. Not to mention your void related abilities which will cause even more destruction.
That's how big your power jump was. Don't get too cocky though, some hidden monsters throughout this world don't make themselves known to the public like those transcendents from the war. You might be the strongest in the books, but I'm sure there are still some stronger.>
'Dang, killjoy. I was just starting to feel special.'
<Pffttt, do you realize that you were JUST a C~grade in the Mortal Realm a couple of hours ago!! I'm 99.99% certain no being has ever had such an absurd power jump... ever!
I want you to understand that since your beyond level 1,000, it'll be a little harder to level up from now on.>
Kyren turned to the old man who was slightly downcast as all of his life's hardships flashed before his eyes. He gave him a warm and respectful smile as he asked, "So what are we doing now?"
"You w-wish to continue training?! I'm no longer qualified to call you my disciple!"
"I might be stronger than you now, but I don't know as much about the void. Plus you're my senior in almost every way."
*Sigh*
The old man expected to be training in comprehending the elements so he booked time for around a week. He planned on doing the rest of the training on the outside if there wasn't enough time but since they still had time, it would be a tremendous waste to not use the resources here.
"By the way, I never caught your name Void Master, I go by Kyren."
"It's Lucien... I wanted to ask how you comprehended the void so quickly?"
"Hehe, the magicules are everywhere and nowhere, everything and nothing, existent and nonexistent. How do you think that's possible?"
The Void Master has heard these phrases before as the Grand Magus Ulysses himself uttered them to him more than once along with a few textbooks and scrolls. He tried his best to understand but it made no sense to him at all.
Kyren chuckled and began to vaguely explain his experiences in a manner that could still let Lucien figure it out for himself but help him out immensely.

Meanwhile, the celestial beings that witnessed the entire event were agitated as Kyren made obtaining power look so easy.
Even though they externally disliked Kyren for showing most of them up growth-wise, internally they were abnormally curious about his future. Since the beginning of time and the creation of the original Gods by the Primordial Beings, not a soul has successfully reached the Celestial Realm. Offspring of Gods didn't count as they were born with innate power from their family. Even the beings with incarnate bloodlines have never accomplished such a feat.
Right now, Kyren has shot his way up to around the top of the list of potential candidates for the Celestial Realm. Due to hardly anyone knowing anything about him, no one immediately offered him their incarnate bloodline. They would observe him until they were certain he was worthy of their blessings.

As Lucien meditated and tried to digest his words, Kyren was receiving instructions from Leo on what he must do with his new power.
He crossed two major milestones when he leveled up more than a thousand times. The first was surpassing B~grade strength to the next level.
Once someone becomes an A~grade, their aura goes through qualitative and quantitative changes. This aspect of the game also starts to get more serious and important at this level of strength as it becomes a large part of one's lifestyle and combat. a physical aura, by definition in the game, is the imaginary projection of a being's mental will, overall intent, and power/danger level that the user can display with just a thought.
Kyren didn't have a physical aura yet so he would need to conjure one now. He was ordered to relax his body and mind for a few seconds before tensing up and going into a hyper-focus within a single moment. After repeating this process dozens upon dozens of times, faint colors started swirling and crackling around him, preparing to form around him.
Depending on his sense, intelligence, energy, and charisma attributes, his aura would receive slight bonuses. Because his weighted attributes, or attributes affected by talents and abilities, were extremely outrageous, his resulting aura should be frightening beyond compare.
Sadly, his physical aura would be far too powerful at one hundred percent so it would be difficult to maintain without guzzling his already massive mental energy. If he toned it down to a point he could tolerate then his strength should still be terrifying so he didn't get distraught.
The colorful and translucent ribbons, swirls, and fireworks around him started condensing and synchronizing into a single shape and color.
He flew numerous miles away to a dense crystal cluster previously so Lucien wasn't accidentally annihilated. Auras could be used for a range of things such as inflicting internal and/or mental damage to induce a huge assortment of debuffs like [suppresed] or [weakened]. The greater the grade or power disparity is, the more lethal and potent the effects and damage would be.
Kyren halted the aura control practices to assess his results and was immediately dumbfounded, "I know little about auras... but I know for sure this isn't normal!"
