3 Naming?

Realising my proximity to the school I 'skilfully' dived under the carriage praying that no one noticed me. Luckily the boy was still enchanted by the castle and the couple were lost in nostalgia, lucky me. The short journey left to the castle only took 15 minutes more, arriving at the outer gates I was met with a sight that quite frankly terrified me.

The entire Hogwarts staff were standing at the gate except it wasn't the same as the movies or books, no just busy looking at them I could tell they were far more powerful. And in the front stood the 4 founders, they all seemed to be waiting for the arrival of this boy. Now this boy has my attention too, thought he was just some Nobel brat but the founders surely would never do this for some random Nobel. The carriage came to a halt and the family got out and greeted them. The following conversation shook me to the core but also cleared my suspicions.

"Why hello there, you must be the little monster I've heard so much about." Spoke a tall blond man with a lion crest on his chest and shoulder that I guesses was Godrick Gryffindor."yes sir, my name is Merlin Emrys it's an honour to meet you" spoke the rather tall boy with black hair with light hints of blue and eyes of pure purple. "Hahaha no need to be so formal as we all hope to teach you personally"

Now that one was a huge shock, big enough for me too let go of the bottom of the carriage causing a loud thud. It was not even a second after I had stood up again that the carriage I was under was lifted up and all wands were pointed at me.

"well this is awkward" I spoke nervously

""it's a dragon!!"" They all exclaimed at the same time. Some of the teachers looking eager to fire a few spells.luckily for me."STOP!" It was merlin who shouted. He nimbly walked over to me and placed himself in front of me, it was a nice attempt if I wasn't 2 feet taller than him." What's the meaning of this Emrys?" one of the teachers spoke out.

"I'll talk to him, he must have a purpose," He confidently spoke while turning to me " what is your purpose here dragon?" He spoke in a language I have never heard before but I understood it instantly and the rest of the language popped into my mind instantly. I was frantically trying to come up with a reason before deciding the truth is the best option. "I have none, I hatched a mere 6 days ago (is that right, correct me if I'm wrong) and your carriage caught my interest so I followed." He looked at me baffled before relaying this information to the others.

"hmm interesting" spoke a slim tall man about 6,5 in height who I recognised as Salazar Slitherin.

"Curious indeed." Spoke an eloquent lady adorned in blue who I assumed was Rowena Ravenclaw. "What's your name dragon?" Deciding that Tim isn't exactly a dragons name I replied in kind with "I don't have one." At that Merlin seemed to become ecstatic.

"If you don't have one would you mind becoming my familiar?" he spoke fast but I heard him clearly.

"What does this entitle boy?" If I am going to accept I need to know what I am getting into.

"It would mean you serve me and help me when needed, but I cannot force you to do anything. Also it would mean you gain a name exponentially increasing your strength as names for magic beasts hold power, and you would have access to anything I can provide for you." He carefully explained. I must think carefully about this, i would be giving away a very small portion of freedom for exponential power growth. After milling over the pros and cons I have decided to accept.

" I agree to your terms, what is your name boy?"

"Its Merlin Emrys"

"Well then from this point on I swear myself as the familiar of one Merlin Emrys, and swear to faithfully protect him with my life." I spoke power and magic emanating from my voice. It was natural as if I always new the words.

"Well then boy what shall my name be?"

"Your name shall be…."

hahahahaha you thought I was going to tell you his name, no chance. Mostly because I haven't thought of one yet sooooo it's your job now if anyone has a good name please comment if no one does I'll probably come up with something shit so I hope you do.
