This is the English version of my novel. As English is not my primary language, I apologize in advance for any errors. Awakening in a silent and forgotten forest, a young man with no memories faces the perplexing task of discovering his past. Abandoned and clueless about his identity, he ventures on a challenging journey.

My body? Your mind? (2)

-"How beautiful the sky is..." Kael murmured as he lazily floated in the water. Specifically; in a lake

-"How the heck did I get here... Ah! Surely that voice has something to do with it! Hey, answer me."

...Of course, he got no answer. Irritated, Kael turned around, sinking his face as he continued to float.

- "Glup glup glup glup!!!" For some reason, he started shouting curses, in an attempt to let out the stress of the last few days. He stopped after a few seconds.

- "At least I have water to drink and wash myself." He slowly swam to shore, undressing and leaving his clothes in a place to dry. Completely naked and with his little friend hanging proudly, he waded back into the lake up to his knees and began to wash himself.

- "The water is freezing cold... but it's better than nothing." About 10 minutes later, he climbed out of the lake and shook himself like a dog to get the water off himself.

- "Mmm, I think having a campfire wouldn't be a good idea, the smoke might attract unwanted 'guests'." He simply sat down near his still wet clothes, waiting for them to be dry enough to get dressed again.

For the first time since arriving in the forest, he could see more than just the Beasts: small birds skimming the sky and deer drinking the lake water began to appear. A small smile graced Kael's face.

-"It's good to see animals other than those beasts." He continued to watch for a few more moments before standing up, still without any clothes on.

- "Very well! I'll explore the place a bit in case I find something." He walked around for about 20 minutes, but decided to turn back when he found nothing.

- "I might as well sleep until my clothes dry... Or not, I don't want that bastard to take control of my body again." And so he simply stared at the sky until it got dark.

- "They're dry at last. Time to get dressed! Although I'd gotten used to being naked by now..." For some reason he regretted a bit about getting dressed again.

Once he finished dressing, he went to get something to eat: a deer. With the knife in his mouth, he went a bit deeper into the forest and climbed a tree, though not too far. He waited for about 2 hours until what looked like a couple of deer were about to pass by him.

-(1... 2... 3...) On the count of three, he jumped out of the tree and stabbed the head of one of the deer with the knife, killing it almost instantly. - "That's it!"

The deer dropped dead and its mate escaped at full speed.

- "Sorry buddy, looks like you got dumped." Kael said to the dead deer.

Before he could even lift the deer, black smoke began to envelop it and after a few seconds, there was no trace of the animal left.

- "That was my dinner, you fucking smoke!" Gritting his teeth in frustration, Kael returned to the lake, where he spent the entire day next to his clothes.

It is worth mentioning that "thanks" to the black smoke, Kael's fatigue and wounds are healed, as well as his hunger. However, Kael still wanted to eat properly.

- "No food and on top of that, I have to stay up all night... Haaa..." A sigh of resignation escaped from his mouth. When he reached the lake, instead of staying and wasting time, he decided to continue all night, after all, if he found Beasts on the way, it would help him recover.

He walked all night and killed several Beasts, and before he knew it the sun was already peeking out of the sky.

"Is there no end to this forest...?"

Just as he was about to stop to rest...

-"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!! HELP!!!"

- "¿¡!?" Not far away, he heard someone screaming.
