Chapter 2:

I didn't know what's happening, I don't know who killed you or whatever they need to us.

But I promise Uncle, I will take revenge. Promise I will seek justice for your death.

My tears were dripping, the rain seemed to sympathize with how I was feeling.

I was standing on a hill that was still part of our land. Here, I buried Uncle's body.

I glanced at the dagger he handed me.

I think I have no choice but to follow.

For the last time I looked at his grave.

My tears flowed "I'm leaving Uncle, I'll leave you here for awhile." I wiped the tears from my cheeks. "I'll be back soon."

I turned around and started walking.

I wandered around for a few days and asked some people about where the person I was looking for could be found.

When I found the exact village where she lived, I felt relief. It was a very tiring day.

Luckily, she is famous in the village. She is known as an healer.

I walked for more than half an hour before I saw the last house of this village. For sure, that is the house that the man I asked had told me.

It is an old house, at first glance you would think no one lives here.

They said that Mylene Hermes, the person I had been looking for a few days, lived here.

I was a little hesitant to enter because it looked scary.

Is there really anyone who's living in there? If you look at it, it looks abandoned.

It looks scary. But there seems to be nothing I can do. Here I can find her, I better take a look inside to see.

I walked closer to the door and was about to knock when it suddenly opened by itself.

I was shocked by what happened. My feet moved backwards by itself.

When it opened I immediately noticed the woman standing inside.

"Hello. How can I help you?" He said.

She's wearing a red dress, she has straight and long brown hair. Her lips are red and her eyes are blue.

She is beautiful, I guess he's only 21 years old.

"I'm Paul Nicolo Ramirez. I have a purpose for you. "I said.

"Come in." She started walking inside the house and I Followed her.

When we got inside we went straight to the living room of the house.

I'm amazed because you wouldn't think it was so beautiful inside because of its old look on the outside.

It's a house full of hantic furniture, you can see it everywhere, you can see it in every corner of the house.

In the living room. We talked about where I came from. She was a little surprised because the village I came from was far away from this village.

She's so talkative, you won't be bored when you talk to her because she always have a topic.

She also talked about her life. She's living in this place for 6 years.

She's always asking me if I've been here before, she said I'm familiar, she just can't remember when because of the number of people she meets because of her job.

But later on, there it goes, we talked about what my purpose is, and why I'm here.

"So you mean, I’ll gonna take you to the Golden sanctuary? ”He asked.

"Yes. My Tito told me that your the only person who can help me to get there." I answered.

I handed him the paper my Uncle had given me.

It is an old paper that is thick and rough. It is brown in color because it is so old. I decided not to take a look at what was in that paper.

"I see, I know what this is. Where did you get it?" She asked.

"It was came from my Uncle. "I showed him the dagger that Uncle had given me.

"That dagger. I know who that is." It looked at me as if asking a question. "What's your name again?"

"Paul Nicolo Ramirez."

She agreed to my request . She's always calling me "You're majesty." I do not understand why.

We discussed that she would take me to the border. But only on the border. She said she's not allowed to go in that world. She was not able to take me to the Golden sanctuary

What does she mean world? She also asks me if I am ready for my decision to go to that world.

Makes me wonder what place I'm really going.

The next morning I immediately got ready because she said we had to leave.

I noticed that she was anxious as if she was restless.

She was walking rapidly. We went to a forest and we had been walking for about 5 hours.

I don't know where we're going. "Where are we?" I ask.

"We're heading to the border. Quick." She said.

I felt tired because we had been walking non -stop for 5 hours.

It's been 5 hours and there's still no rest. She said we can't waste time and we are close to the border so we must hurry.

"Are we close?" I asked again and again.

"Yes." Her always answer.

"Can we take a little break?" I walked slowly.

"We have no time for that. I must get you in there as soon as possible." She answered.

I wonder what happened when she became quiet and stopped walking. She looked around as if she's looking for something.

"What’s going on? ”I felt nervous because of her reaction.

Whatever is going on, I need to be alert. I took the dagger that my Uncle had given me.

I suddenly felt my knees weaken. In a few moments, I fell to the ground.

"Nicolo!" She ran over to me and she helped me to stand up. "What happened?"

I tried to stand but I can't. My knees are shaking and weakened.

"I don't know. My knee suddenly weakened." My answer.

She looked at my leg and ripped the jeans I was wearing.

"Fuck!" She looked around. I was shocked when her eyes lit up.

It looks familiar, it was the same as the man who killed Tito, the man has black colored, but Mylene has white colored eyes.

He touched my leg. "They know we're here." She said.

"Who?" I asked confused.

"The one with the man who killed your uncle." She said.

I can't believe she knew about that. I screamed when she pulled something from my leg.

"They are trying to trace us. You need to hurry. They are close." She said.

She was holding something that seemed to be an insect that I think was dead, I'm sure she killed it.

"It's a sorcery.They have a powerful sorcerer." I was dumbfounded by what he was saying. "You still have a lot to learn about yourself, so if you'll die, I won't let that happen now. "She said and helped me stand up.

We continued to walk even though I could barely stand.

As we walked it was getting better and better I feel. I can feel it, when her hands touch my skin I feel that the pain I feel in my body disappears.

"Don't be surprised, I can read your mind. Three times you've witnessed a magic in your own eyes. Don't be scared, this is how your life will be in the Golden sanctuary. You are one of us Nicolo, and you are more stronger than me. It's going to be messy now but you'll understand it someday." I heard Mylene's voice in my mind.

After he said that, my eyelashes got heavier and it slowly went down.

And it was dark all around.
