Chapter 79

Mira POV.

Mira-'I didn't expect his power to get so high, my time is already up, I need to finish this battle quickly.'

Looking down at the Saiyan I came to eliminate, I stop suppressing my ki, intending to take this battle seriously and defeat him as quickly as possible. But the moment I do, the Saiyan turns his head right in my direction and looks right at me with his pupil-less eyes, and when he does I feel a shiver run through my body, along with my instincts warning me of the being in front of me.

The next thing I knew, he launched himself straight at me with a speed that shouldn't be possible with his hulking frame, putting my arms up, I block his first attack and retaliate with a punch, hitting him in the jaw and sending him flying, flying after him, I start launching deadly attacks at his vitals, but when I was going to deliver a finishing blow, he grabs my hand just inches away from his heart, before he lands a brutal punch right in my stomach. Coughing out spit from the force of the punch, I quickly flash away and manage to dodge a ki attack from his mouth.

Getting back into a fighting stance, the Saiyan charges right at me and we get back into our relentless battle, as I'm constantly dodging, blocking, and attacking. One thing I've noticed while fighting the Saiyan is that at the beginning of the battle my attacks would injure him, but as time went on, my attacks seemed to be having less and less effect on him, even when he doesn't block or dodge my attacks.

Mira-'His ki, it's growing! I need to finish this now, or he will get too powerful.'

Dodging another attack, I flash behind him and roundhouse kick him, smashing him into the ground beneath us, while he's in the ground I charge up a Full Power Energy Wave. Right, when I finished gathering enough energy, the Saiyan emerged from the ground, and he seemed to have slight injuries at most. Watching him charge at me, I wait until the perfect moment before releasing my attack, only when he is 5 meters away from me do I release my attack, completely enveloping him.

I could sense that the Saiyan was getting pushed back from my attack, but when he was about 20 meters away from me, he stopped moving and started slowly making his way to me, walking straight through the middle of my attack. Sensing him approach me, I increased the output of my attack to the maximum and but even when I did that it didn't slow his approach one bit, when he arrived within 2 meters of me, I was about to stop attacking and gain some distance, but before I could I saw his hand suddenly come out of my ki attack and grab me by the neck. When he grabbed me by the neck, he started squeezing tightly which caused me to stop attacking, and when I did I saw a huge towering figure of pure muscles with almost no damage on him, but what freaked me out was the big smile on his face, It didn't look like a smile full of happiness, no, it was a smile that radiated cruelty beyond belief.

As I was still being held by my neck, I unleashed a vicious kick aiming for his liver, but when my kick landed I barely got a reaction out of him. I was about to kick him again when he suddenly grabbed my right arm with his free arm, and he started pulling, at first it didn't hurt too bad, but as he continued increasing the strength, I could feel my arm slowly getting ripped out of my body.

Mira-"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

When my right arm was finally ripped out, I saw him bring my arm close to him before he took a bite out my arm and started chewing, although that didn't last long as he spits it out with a disgusting look on his face. Throwing my arm away, I thought he was going to rip out another limb when I'm kneed in the sternum, breaking several bones, and a few of them even puncturing my lungs, causing me to cough out large amounts of blood. Letting go of my neck, I was too injured to react in time when he grabbed my other arm and smashed me to the ground, trying to get up when I suddenly feel a force threatening to rip my body in half, coughing some more blood, I look and find the Saiyan has dropped his knee right on my stomach, causing me to black out.

Gaining consciousness, the first thing I see is the cruel smiling face of the Saiyan, and the second thing I register is the huge amount of pain that flooded my brain. Not even being able to move my body to try and retaliate, I helplessly watch as he constantly bombards my body with attacks strong enough to cause me immense pain, but none strong enough to cause a killing blow. I don't know how long this continues but after a long time when I no longer feel any new pain being inflicted on me I open my one eye and check the amount of damage I have received.

Mira-'No limbs, no working organs, one lung, part of my brain destroyed, missing lower jaw, and holes all over my body.'

Resting my eye, on the hulking Saiyan standing atop of me, he is no longer smiling, and if anything he seems uninterested. Grabbing me by the neck, he lifts me up before throwing me in the air, when he does he creates a ki sphere in his hand and launches it right at me, when it hits me it explodes and destroys most of my body in the process.

While it destroyed my body, my soul is still alive and is currently being contained in a small piece of my body that was not disintegrated from the earlier attack. I couldn't see, or sense anything outside, but when I felt someone make a connection to my soul, I figured Towa had managed to get me.

Towa-'Tsk, well this has slowed down my plans, it will take a long time for you to regrow your body, you know.'

Mira-'I knows, but after everything that happens, my soul needs a rest, I'll start the process to regrow my body once my soul is in a better condition.'

Towa-'Fine, just don't take too long.'

That was the last conversation that happened before my soul went to rest, making sure I'll pay back that Saiyan making me taste defeat for the first time.
