Chapter 116

When I finished talking, both of the Supreme Kai's looked at me wide-eyed, though I can confidently say they both had different thoughts going through their head.

Gowasu-"You know you shouldn't speak like that to a Destroyer."

Whis-"Hoho, he's got you there Sage, with how you act any other Destroyer would've killed you by now."

Sage-"Hmph, so what, this is how I am, and I'm not going to lower my pride by acting submissive when in the presence of a Destroyer, same with you Angels as well. Besides someone weaker than me doesn't have the right to tell what I can and can't do."

Once I finished my speech, I was no longer looking at Whis and was now focusing on the old supreme Kai, and when he was about to open his mouth, Zamasu beat him to it.

Zamasu-"You should know your place mortal, this is a conversation between Gods!"

Hearing Zamasu speak, I smirk at him before provoking him some more, hopefully, he will get angry enough and attack me.

Sage-"Tch, you supreme Kai's always with your god complex, I find it quite funny considering all you Kai's are pathetically weak, with how weak you guys are I wouldn't even label you guys gods."

When I finished speaking, I saw a frown form on the old supreme Kai's face, and Zamasu looked like his face was about to catch fire with how red it was.

Zamasu-"SHUT YOUR MOUTH FOOLISH MORTAL WHO DOESN'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A MORTAL AND A GOD!"

Seeing how angry he got from my mocking put a smile on my face, walking forward, I stand right in front of Zamasu and look down at him before bringing my mouth next to his ear and whispering to him, causing him to panic before finally attacking me.

Sage-"No wonder you planned on using the Super Dragon Balls to switch places with Kakarot and kill off all the Supreme Kai's before-"

I didn't get to finish my sentence, as Zamasu instantly attacked me after he realized what I was saying, he created a ki blade in his hand and then instantly tried decapitating me, though he was too weak, so when the ki blade touched my neck, it just shattered, causing Zamasu to get shocked.

Putting my hand on the spot where he attacked me, I massage it, before mocking him some more, as It's kinda fun messing with someone, by giving him hope that if he kills me his secret will stay safe, not even knowing that his chances of surviving today are almost 0%.

Sage-"Ahh, that felt good, how about I turn around and you massage my back next."

Although before Zamasu could attack again, I sensed Beerus's presence suddenly appear right in between me and Zamasu and grab his hand, stopping his attack.

Zamasu-"L-Lord Beerus, can you tell-"

Beerus-"Cut the crap, we already know that you're going to use the Super Dragon Balls and wish to swap bodies with Goku from our universe, then you're going to kill all the Supreme Kai's, causing our deaths as well, and with that, no one will be able to stop you from interfering in your eradication of mortals."

Standing beside Whis, we watched as Zamasu's face slowly morphed from shock to panic, then anger, before eventually, his expression settled on despair, all while Beerus exposed all of Zamasu's plans.

Gowasu-"T-This has to be a lie, Zamasu, no, a Supreme Kai would never do such a thing!"

The old Supreme Kai didn't want to believe anything that was happening, and I honestly didn't care enough about him to explain what was going on, so I just continued watching Beerus.

Beerus-"So do you have anything to say before I destroy your very existence?"

Zamasu didn't say anything, Beerus seeing that was going about to finish destroying him, but suddenly Zamasu started laughing like a crazy person, while his eyes had a deranged look in them.

Zamasu-"HahahaHAHAHAHAHA, you're right, I was going to do exactly that, but for you guys to have figured out my plan, my future self seems to have spoken too much. But it doesn't matter even if you destroy me now, it won't change anything, and after my future self finishes his mission in that timeline, he'll go visit every other timeline and repeat the same thing. This means you've already lost, Beerus, you're only living on borrowed time now, good luck. HAHAHAHAHA!"

When he finished with his monologue, the old Supreme Kai had fainted in shock, Whis seemed surprised at the revelation, while I was slightly surprised at the change of events from what I remember.

Sage-'It seems like my presence in this time has already changed things, and it wasn't merely a minor change either.'

Beerus-"Ohh, that's good, with you finally admitting it, I can now destroy you without overstepping my boundaries as universe 7's Destroyer."

Zamasu stopped laughing and stared at Beerus shocked by what he said, but before he could do anything, Zamasu's body started turning into particles until he was nothing, not even leaving his clothes. Once Beerus finished, he wiped his hands before walking over to us.

Beerus-"It's done, now let's return Whis, I want to take a nap."

Whis-"Alright, but will you just leave Gowasu like that?"

All of us looked over to Gowasu who is laying face first on the ground after fainting in shock from learning the truth of Zamasu, but we didn't do anything.

Beerus-"Yeah, he'll get over it, now come along Sage, unless you want to get stuck in universe 10."

Compiling, I grab Beerus's shoulder with my tail, and right after Whis taps the ground, shooting us through the sky into the direction of universe 7.

It's been a couple of hours since we've arrived back on Earth and those two continued enjoying the food Earth had to offer, I, on the other hand, was standing next to Kakarot, Vegeta, and Trunks, listening to Bulma as she explained how the time machine worked, although she was mainly talking me, Kakarot and Vegeta.

Bulma-"Now, that's everything you need to know to operate the time machine, and I'm sure you guys can tell but I've added some slight modifications such as making it bigger to accommodate all of you."

When she finished talking, she threw the keys to Trunks and kissed him on the cheek before backing away.

Bulma-"Now, make sure to defeat those bastards."

Trunks-"Thanks, mom. So is everyone ready?"

Goku-"Yep, let's hurry, I want to fight that guy again."

Vegeta-"Let's get this over with already."

Sage-"Yeah."

When we all replied, Trunks smiled as he walked to the time machine and hoped inside, with the rest of us following right behind, and even though Bulma had increased the cabin size, with 4 men inside it, it still felt kinda cramped, especially when the hatch closed, locking us inside.

Sage-"Who's the bastard that just grabbed my crotch!?"

Goku-"Hehe, oops sorry, thought it was a handle."

Sage-'I swear I'm going to beat the shit out of him when this is over.'

A little bit later Trunks managed to turn on the time machine, and he gave us one last warning before activating it.

Trunks-"Alright, get ready."

Immediately after saying that he flipped a switch, activating the time machine which caused it to float in the air for a little bit before we eventually disappeared from the backyard of Capsule corp.

We went through the same weird tunnel that I went through when I first arrived in this timeline, and it took longer but we eventually made it to Trunks's timeline, which looks as if the apocalypse had happened, and it kinda had.

Trunks-"We've arrived."
