Chapter 20: The Planet Vegeta!
"Planet Vegeta..." Vocada said, looking at the ground as the realization that he would be leaving this planet kicked in.
"Yeah, however, we will have to request for another pod to be sent here. After all, we won't all be able to fit in just two." Lettus said.
"Yeah, and I don't share," Gangal said placing his hands on his hips.
"Anyway, how about while we wait, you treat us to something to eat!" Gangal then said, looking at the dead monster that Vocada had taken out, licking his lips.
Vocada snapped out of his thoughts at the mention of food, agreeing with Gangal before he picked the beast up by its tail and floated into the air.
"Follow me," Vocada said before he took off, flying into the air and getting both Gangal and Lettus to follow him.
The three Saiyans flew through the air, allowing both Lettus and Gangal to get a better look at the planet, flying over some of the old ruins of a city.
"Looks like you were busy after all," Lettus said, tapping his scouter to see if any other life forms were around.
"Yeah, looks like one hell of a party," Gangal said with a wicked smile.
-Beep-
"Looks like we have a hit," Lettus said as his scouter picked up on a small group of power levels ranging from 5 to 60.
"Looks like you missed a few," Gangal said, having a wicked smile perk up on his features.
Suddenly, Lettus and Gangal blasted off toward the power level's location, causing Vocada to change his course soon after, already knowing what they planned to do.
Soon enough a small village came into view, with the Vubrothians having rebuilt a small settlement after Vocada's rampage for the survivors.
Vocada had no idea that the village was here, not having bothered to explore the planet for any survivors.
"Oh goody, there are some left," Gangal said as he and Lettus came to a halt, looking down at the village and the Vubrothians.
Vocada also arrived, still holding the Thoroxicor by its tail in his hand as he looked down at the village.
"Come on, let's have some fun," Gangal said, cracking his knuckles before he floated down toward the ground, being followed by Lettus as the two Saiyan's touched down on the sand, causing the locals to look at them funny.
Vocada followed them, landing behind them before the locals spotted him, freezing in fear.
"I-Its the monster!!!" They yelled, dropping their things as they screamed and ran for their lives.
"Looks like they remember you, eh kid," Gangal said, watching them run with a smile on his face.
"Hey, where the hell are you going!" He suddenly yelled, shooting a purple energy blast at a group of them, watching as it exploded and killed them.
"HAHAHA, that's what you get for running away!" Gangal yelled.
"Come on, let's get this over with," Lettus said, watching as some of the other warriors ran toward them, while many of the other civilians started to run away.
With a simple flick of his wrist, Lettus shot a wave of Ki that killed all of the warriors with hardly any effort, before Gangal dashed to cut off those who were running, killing them all once after the other, covering his body in their blood with a smile on his face.
Vocada watched the horror before him with the other Saiyan's got the job done, looking like they both enjoyed it, not even taking a moment to think about killing them.
Soon enough everyone was dead, leaving only Lettus and Gangal standing while the village burnt behind them.
"Ahh, that was a good warm-up," Gangal said, looking at the crisp body of one of the Vubrothians before he ripped its arm off, taking a bite out of it.
"Oh, nice! Tastes good!" Hey yelled, taking another bite of it.
"So, Vocada was it? How about we head to your place now?" Lettus asked, ignoring Gangal as he walked over to Vocada.
Vocada didn't say anything and simply nodded, floating into the air before he led the way.
"So this is the ruthlessness of real Saiyans..." He thought to himself while he flew through the air. He paid no mind to it, not wanting their killing to affect his emotions.
The group soon arrived at Vocada's makeshift house, with all three of them touching down on the sand.
"This your place?" Gangal asked, looking at the sandstone building.
"Yes, I built it myself," Vocada said as he dropped the monster down onto the ground.
"Not too shabby." Gangal then said after taking a better look at it, seeing it was rather impressive considering he was here alone.
Vocada had built his house next to the sea, giving him access to fishing and bathing whenever he wanted, as well as a nice view.
Vocada went into the house and fetched his sword, using it to cut off the Thoroxicor's large tail before placing it over a fire he set a light with a small Ki blast.
"Seems that you made yourself comfortable on this world," Lettus said, taking a seat in the shade of the house, seeing that it had all the basics, including furniture that Vocada had salvaged from the city's ruins.
Eventually, the food was ready and all three of them sat down to eat, with Gangal eating like a wild animal, while Lettus had better table manners.
Only one day passed before the space pod arrived, allowing both Lettus and Gangal to explore the area and kill any other survivors for sport. Lettus used his controls to bring all three pods over to their location at Vocada's house, one the spare pod arrived.
"Here we are. Looks like we can finally get off this rock and get back home." Gangal said with a smile, watching as the space pods touched down.
"Do you have everything you want? I mean, you can only take what will fit in the pod." Lettus asked, looking at Vocada.
"Yes. I have everything." Vocada said, only having the clothing on his back and his sword, happy to leave everything else on this world.
"Alright. The pod is programmed to take you back to Planet Vegeta, should take around 48 normal hours, so feel free to engage the hibernation settings." Lettus said, showing Vocada how it worked.
"Come on, Lettus. Stop babying him and let him do it himself." Gangal said, growing impatient as he climbed into his own pod.
"Thanks," Vocada said, getting a nod from Lettus before he climbed into the pod, pressing the button for the door to close.
Vocada could see all of the controls and display screen, surprised to see that it was all in English for him to read, being very convenient.
"Beginning launch sequence in three, two, one..." The Pod's computer said, causing the pod's energy to hum to life as it lifted into the air slowly before all three of them blasted off toward the sky.
Vocada watched out of the window as they broke through the planet's atmosphere, slowly climbing into space, giving him a view of the planet that he had called home for all of these years.
"Say goodbye kid. I doubt you will ever have to come back to this dump again." Lettus said through the scouter communication device.
Vocada couldn't help but feel a tad of sadness towards leaving the planet. After all, everything he knew and had done had been there so far, causing him to worry at the thought of the unknown awaiting him.
"Night, night folks, see you when we get there," Gangal said through the scouter.
"Yeah, see you soon." Lettus also said, going in for the long nap.
Vocada looked at the controls, seeing that the autopilot was engaged and the controls were locked before seeing the option for hibernation, deciding it was best to press it.
"Activating hibernation..." The computer said, releasing some gases through the air vents, causing Vocada to slowly drift off, watching as the planet Vubroth faded away in the distance, with Vocada knowing it was likely the last time he would ever see it.
The next thing Vocada knew he was being woken up by the computer's voice, releasing another mix of gases to wake Vocada up from his hibernation.
Vocada slowly opened his eyes and yawned, attempting to stretch out, forgetting how cramped the space pod was as his hands hit the ceiling.
"Arg... My head." Vocada said, feeling strange from the mix of gases that had put him to sleep and woke him up.
"We will arrive at the planet Vegeta in two minutes." The computer said after a moment, giving Vocada an update.
Vocada looked out of the window, seeing that he was still travelling at light speed, only seeing shooting flashes of stars and light lines, looking like something he had seen in Star Wars before.
Slowly the space pod slowed down breaking from its fast travel to a more comfortable speed as the planet Vegeta came into view, revealing a large Blue planet with a large land and ocean mass. (Basing the planet Vegeta off the new reveal in Dragon Ball Super Broly, as that is canon now.)
Vocada's spacecraft broke through the planet's atmosphere, engulfing the craft in flames before flying down toward what looked like a space station, finally crashing into an impact absorber built for the small round space pods to land in safely.
Vocada had to admit that the landing was a little bumpy, however, he quickly shook it off as the pod door opened, allowing him to step outside and take in the view of the Saiyan's home world for the first time.
Suddenly as Vocada stepped out of his pod, he was met with the planet's intense gravity, being ten times that of Earth, and Ten times that of Vubroth too, causing Vocada to feel the intense weight upon his body before using his Ki to balance himself.
"Haha! I told you he would be alright!" Gangal said, laughing before he punched Lettus in the arm.
"Yes. Not many Saiyans who return to the planet after being sent away as children are able to adapt to the planet's gravity right away." Lettus said, admitting that he was wrong.
"Still, with a power level as high as yours, I didn't think you would have any trouble," Gangal said.
Vocada could see that they had landed first, coming over to meet him on the landing dock. He could also feel the strain on his muscles, but with his Ki control, he was able to lighten the load, allowing his body to slowly get used to the gravity without being forced to.
"Lettus, Gangal, you guys came back rather quickly." A small alien wearing the Saiyan armour suddenly said, walking over to them with an iPad-looking thing.
"Yeah, well we found this guy. He already completed his mission, meaning we had nothing to do but pick off the stragglers." Lettus said with a wave of his hands.
"Waste of our time," Gangal said with a chuckle.
The alien looked at Vocada, noticing his tan and well-built body, still wearing his makeshift rags with his tail flowing freely behind him and the sword on his back.
"So, your name is Vocada?" The alien asked, clicking a few times on the holography pad he was using.
"Looks like there is a record of you being sent to the planet Vubroth as an infant. However, it says here the signal from your pod was lost over 11 years ago." The alien said, reading the information on the screen.
"Yes. I damaged my pod by accident once I transformed." Vocada said, causing Gangal to laugh.
"That's what happens when we transform kiddo, hard to maintain control like that." He said.
The small alien also laughed a little, knowing how terrifying the Saiyan's transformation was before he pressed another button to close the pad.
"Still, I am surprised that this one is so calm." The small alien said, looking Vocada up and down again.
"Most of the Saiyan infants that survive being sent away usually come back rather savage." The alien said as he scratched the back of his head with an awkward smile.
"We thought the same thing. Bit of a special one this kid is." Lettus said, smiling at Vocada.
"I see..." The alien said as he scanned Vocada with his scouter, seeing his power level before he started to tap on the display screen of his pad.
"I have registered you as alive and your mission iscomplete. Of course, you will have to report to the command centre of the state to register yourself as a Saiyan citizen and complete the formal paperwork."
"Yeah, yeah. Don't worry, we can take him." Gangal said.
"After all, we found him." Lettus then said, flashing a smile toward Vocada.
Vocada nodded his head toward Lettus, not really having a clue what was going on while he took in the sights of the area.
He could see that the spaceport was busy, with incoming and outgoing pods with other ships making their way into space. Many other Saiyans were also walking around, with many aliens of different kinds, also wearing Saiyan armour and scouters.
"Come on kid, let's go get you registered." Lettus then said, snapping Vocada out of his daze.
"Sure," Vocada said, watching as Lettus and Gangal floated into the air, following their lead before he jumped and flew into the sky.
As Vocada got higher into the air, he was able to see the size of the spaceport, built atop a large cliff that was surrounded by lush wildlife and trees, dark green in colour. The planet looked very similar to Earth except for the light blue skies and green lush forests around the area. Mountains could be seen in the distance, along with a wasteland that houses a village full of other Saiyans going about their daily life only a little further from the spaceport.
As Vocada followed the other two Saiyans, Vocada was able to see a large futuristic-looking city coming into view, guessing it was one of many on the planet.
The buildings were large and impressive looking, clearly built out of a material very different from what we used on the planet Earth. Many other Saiyan's were also flying around the city, either alone or in groups as air travel seemed to be the normal way for them to get around.
Both Lettus and Gangal touched down on a walkway that looked like a normal street. Vocada touched down with them, noticing the looks he was getting from many of the other Saiyans, laughing at his appearance and pointing at him.
"Come on kid, follow us," Lettus said, showing Vocada toward a dome-shaped building before walking through the automatic glass doors.
Vocada followed them both into the building, seeing that it looked important, having desks and offices with a small line of Saiyans waiting to talk to one of the members of staff behind a desk.
"Well, this is as far as we go, kid," Lettus said, pointing for Vocada to join the line.
"Wait in line here and tell the person behind the desk your story. They will sort everything from there." Lettus said.
"Okay. Thanks," Vocada said, getting a nod from Lettus.
"Try not to get lost, kid. And hit us up some time once you get settled." Gangal said, punching Vocada on the arm, bidding him farewell.
With that Vocada watched as Lettus and Gangal walked out of the doors, leaving him alone to wait in this queue, wondering what would happen to him next.
