'Can't believe that damn truck hit me, I had just bought my tickets to the new Dragon Ball movie too' I think sighing sadly as I float through a seemingly endless abyss. 'what's that bright light over there?' I think to myself when suddenly a light appears a good distance away. I freak out as I'm suddenly pulled quickly towards the light and the next thing I know I'm laying down somewhere I have no memory of, I find myself on a small cot in a mostly barren room "where the hell is this?" I ask myself in a cold sweat. After looking around the room for a moment longer I look at my hands and notices they are now way smaller than I'm used to them being, "damn, did I get reborn like in those fanfics I used to read or something?" I ask myself before suddenly screaming due to hands down the biggest headache I have ever had crashes over me as unknown memories start to appear in my head. The door leading out of the room bursts open and a pretty lady in familiar-looking armor steps in "you alright in here Zucchi, what was all that screaming about?" she asked with a worried look on her face. "I'm ok mom, just fell off my bed and hit my head is all" I lie holding my head in one of my hands after I make use of my new memories and learn that this woman is this body's mother. "all right then, remember that you father is coming home later today from a raid, so you might want to get ready for him to test your training progress," she says with a smile as she leaves from the doorway heading towards what my new memories are telling me is the kitchen.

After she leaves the room I stand up and walk towards the mirror on my wall (I don't know if Saiyans have actual mirrors or not but I'd hope they do if they have stuff like space pods) "good lord" I say looking over my reflection noticing the black tail swaying to and fro from my lower back, "damn, I hate that I'm a kid again but no way am I gonna let that get in the way of me being happy that I'm a Saiyan", I then remember my new mother's words and walk to my closet and pull out my kid-sized armor. After putting it on I walk out of my room and into the main living courters to see my mother talking to a lady holding a baby with unmistakable hair. 'ah that's baby Goku no doubt about it, so that must be Gine then' I think walking towards them "hey Aunt Gine, you brought him with you this time?" I ask as she looks at me. "that's right Zucchi, I brought Kakarot over with me, I almost forgot you haven't seen him since he was born" she says holding a sleeping Goku. "he's getting bigger" I say with a smile as he unconsciously grabs my finger in his sleep, "Any chance you know if Raditz is waiting for me outside?" I ask my new Aunt. "yeah, I believe he said he was going to wait for you at wherever you two run off to every so often" she said before continuing her conversation with my mother, I then say goodbye and headed towards the place in the wilderness that my new memories are telling me that Raditz and I have been using as a training area since a couple of years ago.

"hey Raditz, sorry for the wait, I woke up a little late" I say after spotting him shadow boxing, "whatever whatever, you wanna spar today?" he asks as he stops and looks at me. "not today man, I gotta show my old man how far I've come with my training later, I wanna conserve all my strength In case I need it" I say before I start my daily stretches, I then skip daily training for the day as no last minute increases in strength would help in the is case anyway. "oh yeah, our dads get back today, I totally forgot that, I wonder if he'd agree to a little spar when he gets home?" says Raditz as he sits down on a rock beside me. "well I only came to stretch and tell you not to wait on me today so I'll be heading back home now, I'll see you later Raditz" I say deeply breathing in the air around us and begin walking back to the house, "heh, yeah, see you around Zucchi" says Raditz as he walks in the direction of his home as well. that night my father told me my current power level (his being around 4,000 and mine being about 156 since I'm only like 5 and still a growing boy, Raditz being about 465 as he has been training for a little longer than I have) and sparred with me till I was black and blue, and told me he was satisfied with my progress. from my calculations, Frieza doesn't destroy Planet Vegeta for at least another year or so, when it starts to all go downhill I'll just follow Goku in a space pod to earth or something. I just need to get as strong as I can before then.
