Chapter 7: A New World Awaits!

On a vast, dark, snowy field, lined by snow capped mountains. A small group of white-furred creatures, each resembling four-meter-tall muscular monkeys, were running quickly through the snow. Running not towards something, but away from something. Running from a massive ape, titanic in girth and at least fifty feet in height. The large ape seemed to have no intelligence, it wildly chased its prey, occasionally slowing and looking around as if someone were calling out to it. While running, the ape kept swatting at its ears, while shaking its head side to side.

The gargantuan ape stopped, standing stark still as it shook its head fiercely, a sour expression on its monstrous face, almost like it lost an argument with someone. Seeing the beast pause the fleeing monkeys believed it was letting them go, realizing moments later they were very wrong. "RRRAAAAOOOOORRRRRR!!!" Its body suddenly shaking with rage, a mighty roar shook the snow from the distant mountain peaks, as the monkeys started running yet again, the ape's mouth began to glow with a horrifying yellow light. Moments later a tremendous beam of energy vaporized the fleeing lifeforms, the bright beam illuminating the night.

Its rage slightly abated the massive ape began to stride forward through the snow towards the distant mountains. After nearly reaching them, large shards of ice made their way towards the ape. Emanating from caves along the mountainside, the ice shards were thrown by dozens more of the large monkeys. The mountains seemed to be their home, while the ape was clearly an intruder. Just as the ape was about to lash out again, it lowered its head, coming to a complete halt. After going still, the apes harsh breathing finally calmed, as a voice echoed from its mouth.

"My…body! This…is my body. Mine!" Coming back to his senses, Arlic seized control, grimacing at how long it took him to do so. He had spent four years training his body and mind to achieve this, disregarding the incubation pods teaching that the rage he felt was a Saiyan's true strength, and with no senior to teach him. That said, he was still fighting the instinct to go wild. Looking around him, he noticed he was being attacked. Though he couldn't feel any pain from the attacks, he did feel something else, amusement. The Yeti, as he called them were so tiny in comparison to his current height. When he came across them before, he was the dwarf.

Closing his eyes, he tried to control the energy now running rampant throughout his body. With a steadying breath, he brought balance to his emotions and with them his rampaging [Ki]. With a deep sigh, his massive frame began to float. Still facing the mountains and the onslaught of attacks being hurled at him, he gently floated toward the sky, soon arriving above the field he came from. Arlic opened his eyes, now filled with cold indifference. Holding out his palm towards the sky as the snow continued to fall, a large ball of violent red and white energy took shape. Glaring at the Yeti infested mountains, he raised his [Energy Sphere] above his head. Doubling in size as he fed it more Ki, he tossed it at the mountain range.

Grazing the top of the mountains, the sphere destroyed the Yetis home without killing them. It landed behind the mountain, a massive explosion demonstrated what the sphere could have done, leaving a massive crater in the ground. Floating menacingly in the sky with his arms crossed, Arlic thought about how strong he had found the Yeti just a few years ago. Almost all adult Yeti had a power level of >250, yet with nothing but sheer effort he had overcome their entire race. He could only delight at being born in this reality as a Saiyan, to be a member of a powerful warrior race. Looking up at the false moon in the sky, he reminded himself that pride was a dual edged sword, it could cut both ways. Sighing, he spoke a code phrase he set up beforehand, the moon in the sky dissipated, a spherical spacecraft taking its place. He set the phrase up so that he would have no way out, not until he succeeded anyway.

Looking down briefly he saw the Yeti's now kneeling in fear. Arlic's form shrank, reaching his normal childlike appearance. Still floating in the sky with his arms crossed, shaking his head at the Yeti's he flew towards his [Space Pod]. Reaching the craft, he stared at his own reflection in its round hard glass window. A young child with black eyes and medium length spikey black hair returned his gaze. He hadn't seen himself lately, touching his hair he thought about cutting it.

"It's time to leave. There's nothing left for me here." Climbing into the round ship, he grabbed one of the violet-colored fruits he had packed inside a makeshift satchel for his new journey. Munching on it, he set his next destination, [Planet Yardrat]. His ship had a database covering nearly seventy percent of the known universe. That was a lot of worlds, among which Earth and Namek were included. Arlic only had to pull up the relative coordinates and his ship would take him there; it was very handy. While he didn't care much for Frieza personally, he had to admit that the [Galactic Conqueror] had access to some amazing resources and technology.

Out of all the planets he could choose a teacher from, Yardrat was where he could find the person who could help him most right now. His ship leaving Planet Kreme's atmosphere, Arlic engaged the stasis function on his [Space Pod]. This journey would take him just over four and a half weeks. As slumber took him, he had restful smile on his face.

*************************************************************************************

On the surface of rocky yellow world, a short humanoid with reddish pink skin, tinged with light blue splotches was running toward a large city. Nearly arriving the lifeform placed two of its fingers to its forehead, and suddenly vanished.

Within the city that same short figure appeared among a group of slightly taller green and blue skinned humanoids, all standing before a large building. Even though the humanoid appeared among them out of thin air, no one in the group was shocked. A few only nodded their heads in greeting, while the figure that had appeared walked into the large building.

Walking through large halls filled with what looked like training students, the figure walked up to a large, bulky form that towered over everyone else present. The figure approached and in a humble voice, asked a single question. "You called for me, Elder?" The large bulky form turned toward the newcomer. "Yes, I did Inaki. We will soon have a young visitor around your age. I would like you to show him to me when he arrives." Looking down from above the Elder asked. "Do you understand, Inaki?"

Inaki responded quickly. "Yes, Elder Pybara!" Nodding his head, Inaki asked a second question. "Can you tell me anything about this visitor, Elder?" Donning a mirthful smile, Elder Pybara responded. "Well, he'll have a fuzzy tail." Inaki could only sigh at the Elder's lack of specificity. "I'll keep that in mind, Elder." His mouth twitching, Inaki bowed before walking away.

Final edit of Chapter 7 is done. I did not have to change that much thankfully.
