The twins, Rasin and Lakasai were both standing in a lab surrounded by monitors. Rasin was carefully watching the readout on an isolated [Genetic Reconstruction Pod]. Lakasai was standing nearby watching a set of monitors, he had been observing those same monitors for hours. Looking back at his brother, Rasin asked Lakasai a question. "How are the other tests going?" Lakasai answered while keeping his eyes on the monitors in front of him. "The [Saibaman Soldier] project is nearing completion. In relation, the [Saibaking Soldier] project still requires more time for completion."
Rasin nodded his head. "Within expectations. What of Daiz?" Lakasai grunted in response. "Why ask me? Cacao is watching over him." Sighing, Lakasai switched the display on one of his monitors, after which he begrudgingly answered his brother's question. "Looking at the readout, he should achieve genetic stability within mere days." Rasin nodded his head again. "Lord Arlic will be pleased when he awakens. Hopefully Díaz's genetic modifications will be as effective as Cacao's and our own." Arlic had made certain that Rasin and Lakasai were rewarded for all their efforts so far, he even watched over them personally. The boon they received from the pod was less than those Cacao received, their race was not made for combat from a genetic standpoint, after all. That said, the benefits they received were still incredible.
They had both become slightly taller, while their previously plump forms had thinned out somewhat. They now had well defined musculature and their skin had become a lighter shade of purple. The biggest benefit, however, was an increase in their mental abilities. They were intelligent to begin with, but now, they were outright geniuses. They could both now use [Telepathy] and [Telekinesis] intrinsically. They also achieved a new racial ability. Before, they could only [Merge] to become stronger. Now they could achieve [Multi-Form] at will. What is more, they retained their original power level when doing so. The only drawback was that it took a good bit of stamina, as such they had to use their new ability sparingly.
"You wanna grab some lunch? I doubt Lord Arlic will come out anytime soon, it has already been seven months after all. I doubt that h..he…!" In the middle of asking his brother a question, Lakasai stuttered. He felt an insane power level begin to surge about inside Arlic's pod. Sensing it himself, Rasin spoke while backing up. "He's waking up! His power level…!" Rasin activated his [Hard-Light Scouter]. He couldn't believe what he was sensing, so he wanted an actual reading. Which only served to shock him even more. "It's already over five Million and it's still rising!" Rasin and Lakasai both fell on their backsides at that startling revelation. Quickly rising to their feet, they got to work stabilizing Arlic's pod. Sparks flew as monitors blew apart around them, as they hurried in order to activate pre-installed [Containment Field]s. Arlic had warned them, as well as prepared countermeasures ahead of time. That said, they didn't actually believe him. The equipment around them was built to withstand massive amounts of energy, not to mention the fact that it was insanely durable. Seeing is believing however, they realized now that they should have listened to their Lords warning's.

Arlic opened his eyes after a long sleep, only to be greeted by wreckage all around. The ten-inch [Diamond Glass] he created to line his pod was completely shattered from the inside. He quickly realized that the mess around him was most likely his own doing. He had taken precautions, but there was only so much he could do in such a short amount of time. Arlic soon decided that he would have to come up something better in the future. Looking around he saw that the [Containment Field] he created, had done its job, keeping the damage from spreading. Peering beyond it he spotted Rasin, Lakasai, Cacao, and a very naked Daiz staring back at him.
Not wishing to waste time with the field, Arlic placed two fingers upon his brow. He quickly appeared before the others using [Instant Transmission]. Looking Daiz in the eye, he asked a question. "You are Daiz, correct?" Arlic barely recognized him. Daiz was a well-built man before, but now, he looked as if he were molded from metal. Even his skin had taken on a slight metallic hue. His dark-green hair, which before had been styled into a fade cut with a ponytail, was now hanging below his waist. His head was now a little shorter, before it was a bit oblong. His eyebrow ridges had shrunk somewhat and now had dark-green eyebrows on them, whereas before he had none. The most startling however, was his eyes. His eyes were black before, now they were not only onyx-green, but they also glowed slightly. The transformation was staggering.
"Yes, my Lord!" Clearly confused by the question, Daiz answered him with a "What do you mean?" look on his face. Scratching the side of his face, Arlic materialized a silver hand mirror for Daiz to see for himself. Taking the mirror and peering into it, Daiz's eyes went wide. "Please, excuse me Lord Arlic!" With great urgency, Daiz rushed towards his quarters, most likely to examine the other changes. Looking towards the others, Arlic spoke again after he materialized both a standing mirror and a towel for himself. "Give me an update. And someone explain Daiz's current form. His change should not have been that drastic." He examined himself in the mirror as he finished speaking.
His own looks had changed drastically as well. After incorporating [Ancient Saiyan D.N.A.] into his own genetic structure, he expected as much. First, was his hair, it was still black, but had grown longer, just above his knees in fact. His hair had increased in volume as well. Second, his body had grown broader, his muscle becoming more clearly defined. Third was his eyes and his tail. His eyes, while still black, now appeared slightly red when the light hit them at a certain angle. His tail had turned from brown to black, the same color as his hair. Aside from his looks he had upgraded a few of his physical traits as well.
Among them were enhanced tolerance to poison and venom, a strengthened immune system, increased lung capacity, stamina and [Ki] capacity. The only thing other than his bloodline that he had changed was his mental acuity. He had gotten the idea after seeing the D.N.A. structure of Rasin and Lakasai. It provided him with far greater thought speeds, as well as natural [Telepathy] and [Telekinesis].
More so than anything else, he sought to purify his bloodline, to become a different kind of Saiyan, something new. He knew now that he achieved just that. By locating the [Ancient Saiyan D.N.A.] on [Planet Sadala], Arlic traced his own genetic code as far back as he could. At the same time, he augmented what was already there, while activating a few dormant genes within his genome. The result was a brand-new type of Saiyan, one that before him had never existed before. A [Neo-Saiyan], so to speak. Controversial, yes, but effective none the less. His only concern with the procedure was the amount of time it would take to achieve, it had to be done carefully or his genome could have unraveled. Done inspecting himself he turned to Lakasai.
Seeing that Arlic's attention was on him, Lakasai answered his lord's question. "My Lord! It has been five months and ten days since you went into the pod. All other projects meet expectations." Lakasai cleared his throat before continuing. "As for Daiz, I will look into it personally and give you a full report when I know more." Nodding his head, Arlic sighed. "Very well. What of Vampa?" Lakasai answered swiftly. "The [Salvation] is still close to [Planet Vampa], per your instructions we have not approached it yet." Thinking for a moment, Arlic turned his gaze fell upon Cacao. "Cacao! Move us towards [Planet Vampa]. It is time to begin." Stepping forward, Arlic went towards his own quarters. He needed to change for his first meeting with Broly. He was unable to hide the mischievous grin that appeared on his face as he walked.
"It was now [Age 742], he was now ten years old, and now that he had a way to edit and reconstruct D.N.A., it was time to meet Broly." Arlic soon arrived at his quarter's, just behind his throne room, that's right, he had a throne room. Arlic walked into his bathroom, discarding the towel wrapped about his waist, Arlic took a long, hot shower. Afterward he walked in front of the mirror above his sink, there a display appeared. It gave him different clothing and hairstyle options; he chose to simply comb his hair instead of interacting with it. He planned to add more features in the future. Swishing a cup of [Teeth Cleaning Solution], he decided on what to wear. Spitting into his sink, he settled on something other than battle armor. He snapped his finger's, smiling as the clothing took shape around him.

"Father!" Hearing Broly call out to him outside the cave they called their home, Paragus walked outside. "What is Broly? Why have you stopped your training?" Looking at his son who was wearing a stained green pelt, Paragus noticed him looking upwards. Tracing his gaze to the skies, Paragus nearly fell on his backside out of shock. There, among the stars outside Vampa's atmosphere was a massive metallic sphere. On its surface was what looked like large domed cities, and there in its center, sat a giant blue star. Paragus had never seen anything like it.
"Father, what is it?" Broly was fascinated, his eyes were as wide as saucers. Paragus didn't respond, he was completely lost for words. Just as he was about to fly up for a closer look, Broly crouched on the ground. His son was completely alert. "Someone is coming." Just those words put Paragus on guard, it also let him hope. Hope that perhaps that massive thing was a ship of some kind, that it might allow him to finally take his son from this accursed world. They had been stranded for too long, he was beginning to lose his sense of self on this mud ball of a planet. Looking up again, he half prayed his son was right, that this would be a way out for them both. "Might I have a word with the two of you?" Paragus jumped in shock, he had not heard the voice of any but his son in ten years. Looking towards the cave he had come out of, he discovered the origin of that voice.
What he saw was a boy, one who looked the same age as his son. He wore baggy white pants with a red sash covering his waist. He tied it all together with armguards, boots, and a belt, each made from a gold alloy topped with a blue gem. And how could Paragus miss the long black furred tail swaying beneath his sash. Paragus couldn't help but blurt out. "You… you're a Saiyan!?" The boy laughed at that, responding with thinly veiled sarcasm. "What gave it away?"

Arlic must have caused Paragus quite the shock. The look on the man's face was priceless. Broly was more composed or most likely just cautious. It still didn't stop him from half walking around him occasionally sniffing at him. Broly was inspecting him as an animal would. It didn't bother Arlic though, not so long as Broly remained calm, that is. Arlic kept his gaze instead on Paragus instead, who was carefully watching him in return. Paragus finally broke the silence. "Who are you?" A bit disappointed at the man's unimaginative question, and a little angry on noticing the collar around Broly's neck, he answered out of courtesy if not anything else.
"My name is Arlic." Holding up his hand for silence when he noticed Paragus about to speak again, continuing. "My men and I were passing by and noticed life signs similar to my own on this small planetoid. With our technology we determined your location rather quickly, our sensors detected no working spacecraft on this backwater world. I came down to see whether the two of you were stranded here. If so, I can offer you a ride off world, though I am afraid that you will find returning to [Planet Vegeta] to be impossible." Arlic waited patiently after his small speech as Paragus absorbed the information, ready with the answer to the question he suspected Paragus might ask. "Why would returning home be impossible?" Paragus asked the question apprehensively, sensing from Arlic's tone a portent of finality. "It will be impossible because our planet and our people were destroyed by Frieza." Replying calmly, Arlic let the fate of their race be known.
