Chapter 4: The Daily Life of a Saiyan

A few weeks later....

Location: Outside the Kingdom of Sadala

Sounds of multiple shockwaves can be heard in the landscape surrounding the area. Two silhouettes can be seen clashing against one another while giving one another multiple punches and kicks but the larger silhouette quickly overpowers the smaller one in a easy but simple fashion.

The silhouettes are Nira and Kakarot with this being their fifth time sparring against one another. The reason being is that Kakarot despite having multiple bruises across his body is both determined and too stubborn to give up while Nira just considers it a warm up since their power levels are too far apart from each other hence why it's basically no effort on her part. But over the past few weeks since she brought him to what he'll call home for the next few years ,he's been growing stronger at a rapid rate and add on to the fact that in three years time, he'll have to go to the Sadala Academy once he hits the age of six.

Their home can be described as one would call a cottage but the inside of it has around four rooms with two of them being their bedrooms along with a kitchen and a bathroom.

Back to the current situation, Kakarot is seen attempting to land several jabs and kicks towards Nira but all she does is dodge them with little to no effort with a smile on her face showing the gap between their power and experience as she was a soldier for the Sadala Army for a couple years.

Having to retire early because she had to raise Kakarot on her own and she wasn't willing to leave him all alone at her house. Maybe she could convince her old friends who live a few miles away since they also have a kid of their own who is around his age or at least that's what Renso told her when she last saw him a year ago. But she decided not to do that because it would be considered abandonment on her part due to some missions taking years to finish due to the amount of wars happening across the Universe.

On the bright side, due to serving for close to twenty years in the Sadala Army, she was well known for her kind-hearted nature to others while in the battlefield and had gotten a particular young Saiyan boy named Renso recommended for the Sadala Defense Forces due to her knowing his parents since she met them both at the academy. She gets a monthly income because of this and she can live freely while nurturing her son t--!

*POW!!!* Too focused on her thoughts, Nira is caught off guard just when she looks to see Kakarot's fist on her face as he can be seen with a smile on his face.

"Finally got you, mother! Now you can finally teach me how to fight properly." He exclaims causing her to giggle at his shenanigans but couldn't help but be proud at his resolve to become stronger which was a characteristic he inherited from his father.

"What's wrong mother?" Watching his mother's seemingly stoic expression staring at him for a while he couldn't help but ask what was on her mind while he retracts his fist from her face and he sees that his punch had no effect on her which further fueled the fire in his eyes to be even better next time.

"Nothing much, Kakarot, I just have a lot on my mind that's all. " She responds with a kind smile. "I'll train you in everything I know so far starting tomorrow. For now why don't we celebrate with a feast since you managed to land a hit on me." She finishes off with Kakarot wagging his tail in a excited fashion since he enjoys food almost just as much as his love for training.

"Alright!" Kakarot then quickly speeds off into the house then deciding to take a quick shower to clean his bruises while he waits for Nira to cook. She then looks at the surroundings then gains a sweat drop over her head noticing that she and Kakarot may have gone a little to far seeing the destruction of the landscape that their sparring session caused.

'At least I haven't showed any of my ki techniques or else this would've looked a lot worse than it already does.' Nira then proceeds to head off into the house heading towards the kitchen area while preparing a meal which would be considered a feast for beings with average metabolisms.

A few hours later....

Many different types of food can be seen displayed with aroma being pleasant enough as Kakarot can be seen drooling from his mouth from the sweet sense of smell and before he could gobble it all in his stomach, he is stopped by a glare from his mother whose smile does not match her closed eyes.

"Ara~Ara~ What did I ever tell you what happens if you don't wait for me? Do you remember what happened the last time you ate without me?" Kakarot pales in immense fear from the memory of what she is referring when she found out that pulling his tail essentially immobilizes him.

"To never eat without you and to have manners when eating in front of others." Repeating her words, Nira nods while giving him permission to eat as they both then at a fast pace eat up all the food on the table that is about 70 course meals in total.
