Chapter 15: A Hare-Raising Problem

Goku, Bulma, and Oolong were cruising down the road in their Capsule Car, with Goku leaning out the window and enjoying the breeze. Bulma was grumbling as she checked the fuel gauge, while Oolong sat in the back, looking nervously over his shoulder for any sign of trouble.

"We're almost out of gas," Bulma muttered, adjusting her sunglasses. "We need to stop soon."

As if on cue, they rolled into a nearby city, bustling with people and noise. The tall buildings and crowded streets were a sharp contrast to the quiet countryside they had just passed through.

"We'll stop here and fill up," Bulma said, pulling into a gas station. As the car came to a stop, Bulma hopped out and started refueling. Oolong followed her, his eyes darting around nervously.

"I don't like this place," Oolong mumbled. "Feels sketchy."

"You always think something bad's going to happen," Bulma replied, waving him off. "Relax."

Goku was busy staring at a bunch of street vendors selling food nearby, his stomach growling loudly. "Hey, Bulma! Can we get some food? I'm starving!"

Before Bulma could answer, two tall men wearing bunny ears approached them, looking smug. They strutted up like they owned the place, eyeing the group with a mischievous grin.

"Well, well, well," said the first man, cracking his knuckles. "What do we have here? A pretty girl and some weirdos."

The second man snickered. "Why don't you hand over some money, and we'll let you go without any trouble?"

Bulma rolled her eyes. "Oh, great. Thugs." She put her hands on her hips, unimpressed. "You picked the wrong girl to mess with."

Goku blinked at the men, confused. "Why are you wearing bunny ears? Is it a holiday or something?"

The first man scowled. "It's none of your business, kid. Now scram before we make you!"

Oolong, hiding behind the car, whispered to Bulma, "Uh, maybe we should just leave. These guys look crazy."

But Goku wasn't listening. He stepped forward, grinning. "You want to fight? Sure, I love a good fight!"

Before either of the bunny-eared men could react, Goku leaped into the air and delivered a powerful kick to the first man, sending him flying into a nearby fruit stand. The second man barely had time to blink before Goku sent him crashing into the ground with a swift punch.

Bulma smirked. "Nice one, Goku."

But the victory was short-lived. The two men scrambled to their feet, bruised but not beaten. "You're gonna regret that, kid!" one of them shouted. "We're calling the boss!"

They pulled out a small communicator and, moments later, a large shadow loomed over them. The boss had arrived—Monster Carrot. He was a giant rabbit wearing a sharp suit, his long ears twitching as he walked toward them with a confident stride.

"Well, well, well," Monster Carrot said in a deep, smooth voice. "Looks like we've got some troublemakers."

Goku blinked again. "Whoa, a talking rabbit! Cool!"

Bulma, however, wasn't amused. "What kind of ridiculous villain has bunny ears?" she muttered, stepping forward. "Listen, pal, we don't have time for this. Get lost."

Without warning, Bulma raised her hand and slapped Monster Carrot across the face. Goku's eyes widened in shock as the giant rabbit grinned menacingly.

"Bulma, no!" Goku screamed.

But it was too late. In an instant, Bulma vanished, leaving behind a small, bright orange carrot in her place.

"Huh?" Oolong said, scratching his head. "Where'd Bulma go?"

Monster Carrot smirked, holding up the carrot in his paw. "I told you, kid. Anyone who touches me turns into a carrot."

Oolong stared in disbelief. "Wait… that carrot is Bulma?!"

The two bunny henchmen snickered, moving in to take advantage of the situation. "Now that your friend's out of the way, let's see how tough you are!"

They lunged at Goku, throwing punches left and right. But Goku, undeterred, dodged each attack with ease, his movements swift and fluid. With a grin, he grabbed his Power Pole from his back and extended it, knocking both henchmen flat on their backs in one swift motion.

"Is that all you've got?" Goku said, twirling the pole around before pointing it at Monster Carrot. "Now, turn Bulma back, or else!"

Monster Carrot's grin faltered. "You little brat!" He lunged forward, but Goku was ready. With a powerful swing of his Power Pole, Goku sent Monster Carrot flying into a nearby wall. The giant rabbit slid to the ground, groaning in defeat.

"I give up! I surrender!" Monster Carrot whimpered, clutching his head. "Just don't hit me again!"

Goku stood over him, holding out the Power Pole. "Okay, now change Bulma back. I'm not kidding."

Monster Carrot shakily got to his feet and, with a wave of his paw, turned the carrot back into Bulma. She blinked in confusion, still mid-slap when she reappeared.

"Wait, what just happened?" Bulma asked, looking around.

"You were a carrot," Goku explained cheerfully. "But I got you back."

Bulma's eyes widened. "A carrot?! Ew! That's disgusting!"

Monster Carrot, still trembling, raised his hands in surrender. "Please, just let me go!"

But Goku had a better idea. He extended his Power Pole high into the sky, grabbing Monster Carrot and his henchmen by their ears.

"What are you doing?!" Monster Carrot yelled as they were lifted higher and higher.

Goku grinned. "We're going to the moon!"

With a mighty leap, Goku extended the Power Pole all the way to the moon, dragging Monster Carrot and his lackeys along for the ride. When they landed on the moon's surface.

Goku smiled, hopping back onto the Power Pole, leaving the terrified rabbits behind. When he landed back in the city, Bulma and Oolong were waiting, both looking thoroughly confused.

"Well, that was weird," Bulma muttered. "But at least we're done with those guys."

Goku laughed, patting his Power Pole. "Yeah! And we got rid of the bad guys. Now, let's get some food!"

As they drove off, the trio couldn't help but laugh about the absurd events of the day. Goku had once again saved the day—this time, from a gang of bunny-eared villains. And despite the chaos, Bulma and Oolong were just happy to have avoided becoming snacks for a giant rabbit.
