Chapter 2: I'm BACK!
"I am Raiden, at your service Mr. Lemo!" Those were the energetic words of a 15 years old teen named Raiden.
At first, Lemo thought he would just be another one of those 'disposables' who would jump in a fight in the name of injustice or coward up against the harsh reality of being in Cooler Force.
However, the human teen surprisingly held firm and absolute even in crisis or danger.
Phew!
Raiden, who had just killed two enemies much stronger than him, was shot dead before his eyes. He knew Raiden was young but sometimes got impulsive. He never thought such a bratty kid would sacrifice himself like a hero.
'What an idiot…' Lemo gritted his teeth in frustration. He was disappointed, not with Raiden but in himself.
There were many assholes in the Cooler Force, so internal conflict such as this was normal. Lemo could have negated the situation had he investigated the details of this mission.
But now Raiden was dead. Even though his death wouldn't mean anything as Lemo and the rest of his people would die, Lemo had to say Raiden looked really badass in the end.
"GUAHAHA! When you want to be a hero, don't!" The Boss Grunt laughed as he delivered the cringiest line Lemo had ever heard.
Lemo gritted his teeth and wanted to get up to fight, but the kick from before probably broke his spine. He had already sent a Destress Signal, but it was implausible that any help would arrive.
"Let's wind this up, Peeps! Kill all of them! Guaha!!" The Boss Grunt signaled his goons to kill all of Lemo's race.
"Khh!!!" Lemo wanted to stop them as the remaining of his people would be slaughtered before his eyes. He wasn't a good person or a hero, but he even wished to save his people from complete destruction.
This was the end of his race and him.
However…
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Three KI blasts hit all three of Boss Grunt's goons. Two had their heads explode while the last one was hit on the chest and dropped unconscious.

Both Lemo and Boss Grunt had their eyes wide open. They slowly turned their head to find the source of those KI blasts.
They found that single humanoid person who had just received a heroic death.
It was Raiden.
"Hehe! I'm back b!tches!" Raiden smirked.
Since this person, a slight smile curved on Lemo's face. He didn't know how Raiden returned from the dead, but he looked hella cool.
"Humph. Freaky brat…"

Objective: A warrior shall rise again and claim back his pride. Kill all 6 Cooler's grunts (2/6).

"So this is a gaming system…." Raiden muttered as he saw all these screens.
It seemed like time was stopped, so he wanted to take his time to ascertain his situation.
Raiden was well aware of gaming mechanics as he was also a gamer in his high school days. He also had some idea of how it would be going to work. However, it was the first time he encountered this gaming system in real life.
Raiden wasn't surprised, considering reincarnating into DB world, getting his planet destroyed, meeting Lemo, and finally dying.
"Let's check the status…." With just his mind, another screen popped up.

Raiden had many questions about his new cheat system, probably about this [Foreigner]. This likely won't affect him for now, but he will face three events: Android Saga, Cell Saga, and Black Goku Saga.
"Let's forget about this for now. Hmm, what's this?" Raiden decided to ignore the problem as he saw many other windows.

"Now, this is some thick juicy beef!!" Raiden grinned. After a second, he slowly stood on his feet. He felt a gush of foreign power entering his body. He felt like a he was now a mountain compared to an ant he was before.
Time started to start as the Boss Grunt made his cringe villain lines.
Raiden knew he had to make some quick decisions. He could either kill Boss Grunt with his Ki blast or sneak and kill the three grunts holding hostage of Lemo's people.
Since Raiden didn't know if he could kill Boss Grunt with a single shot, he was at least sure to kill low-level goons. He wasn't a hero type, but he wasn't in favor of the extinction of a race. It would leave a bad taste on the first day of his cheat awakening.
Their attention wasn't on him, so he quietly generated two Ki orbs on both hands. The feeling was exciting, but he had to be level-headed. Plan was simple. Shot four blasts in case one of them misses.
After locking his aim on his targets, Raiden released the Ki Blasts.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
To Raiden's luck, the first two were perfect headshots. Their skulls shattered like glass while the last one took the hit on his abdomen.

There was nothing more fascinating than seeing those Level-Up windows.
'Oh, right lines.' Raiden cleared his throat and grinned as Boss Grunt and Lemo looked toward him. "Hehe! I'm back b!tches!"
"What the… how…" The Boss Grunt had horror on his face, while Lemo just smiled and shook his head in relief.
"Sorry, but I ain't gonna answer some cringe-ass mob who is about to disappear from this world!" With that, Raiden kicked the back of his food and leaped toward Boss Grunt.
The Boos Grunt grunted and pointed his Beam Gun toward Raiden. However, it was hit by another shot. He turned around and saw Lemo pointing his spare gun toward Boss Grunt.
"Just drop dead, you cringy-ass no-name wannabe villain," Lemo smirked.
"Hey, for ya info, I've got a name! Its-"
"Too slow."
Before Boss Grunt could finish his words, Raiden was already in front of him. He swung his sword and severed Boss Grunt's hand clean.
Boss Grunt was so stunted by this that he forgot to scream.
Raiden raised his hand and smirked, "Say Holla to those German Ogres in HFIL."
"What…"
BOOM!
And the no-name mob was blown away to be never seen again.

'God, this level up gives me an orgasm~!' Raiden smirked as he felt stronger with each level up. His power level also grew exceptionally.
The boost also wore off, adjusting his stats according to his level.
Finally, the danger was over
"Brat… you are one son of a b!tch! You almost gave me a heart attack…."
Raiden turned his attention to Lemo, lying on the ground, his eyes in tears.
"If my spine wasn't broken, I would have hugged you with my full might!" Lemo smirked.
"Ugh, don't even think about it. I don't want to ruin my day." Raiden grimaced, but then both of them began laughing. There was no better joy than living in this vast universe of Dragon Ball for another day. However, was that just the end of Raiden's game?
