Chapter 2: Origin

As everyone took a seat the screen lit up and siayan that look extremely similar to Goku appeared on screen.

["What's wrong no warm welcome Gine?] said the siayan. A woman could be seen Chopping some meat, said woman, Gine turned around a greeted the siayan.

["Bardock your here!] said Gine as she walked toward the siayan.

"Bardock? Hey Shaggy who is that guy?" asked the Bulma as the video stopped, everyone turned to said Joestar who was munching on pop corn.

"That's Goku's Dad Bardock and the woman's your mother." This shocked them all. "Eh!? Really but I don't look anything like that guy?" said Goku being the "genius" he is.

"So that's our Grandma and Grandpa, cool!" said Goten happy to see his fathers side of the family. "Yeah but let's not forget they are blood thirsty killers." said Gohan.

["Things are sure crazy in town today."] said Bardock as his came up to him and went his arms. ["It's not very often everyone comes back.] replied Gine as she removed her gloves.

Vegeta hearing what Gine said eyes widened, but he didn't say anything. ["Where's Raditz?"] asked Bardock. [He's off world, he's in the military teamed up with Prince Vegeta.]

They all turned to Vegeta hearing what Gine just said. ["With Prince Vegeta Huh? I wouldn't want to be stuck on ship with that one. How's Kakarot doing is he still in the nursing capsule?"] asked Bardock.

["Yeah he is, I thinks its just about time to let him out now, over here!"] she led Bardock further in. The screen now showed a baby Goku floating in Yellow liquid. Chichi along with some of the others women in the group cooed at the baby Goku.

"He's so cute!" said Chichi looking at the screen. "Kinda reminds me of Goten." said Gohan, Videl held her husband's hand smiled looking at their own child.

["Still small huh?"] said Bardock ["I think he might be a late bloomer, he looks like you don't you think, he certainly has his fathers hair, for better or worse."] replied Gine.

A serious look then came over Bardock's face. ["After dark I'm going to steal a pod for him."] ["Huh!?"] Bardock kept speaking ["We're going to send him to another planet."]

["What are you saying!?"] She asked in shock. ["Gine I'm serious."] ["How could we abandon our son like that, he doesn't even know how to talk yet!"] She said angered.

This came to a surprise to some, as they thought they saiyan's were a bloodthirsty race of people. "Well will ya look at that, the saiyan's aren't as bad as we thought." said Roshi.

"Their not all bad, where do you think Gohan gets his pacifism from." said Shaggy but he continued.

"Gine couldn't become a warrior due to her kindness she couldn't kill her targets, honestly she and Bardock are a rare case in their species as they actually love each other." said Shaggy.

"So their good people?" Asked Trunks. "Well yes but no, as we've seen with the video the world isn't black or white." said Tien.

"Good point dude!" said Shaggy with a smile on his face.

["With his latent ability he's destined to be sent away, probably somewhere horrible. So we're going to see it He grows up on a decent planet."] said Bardock.

Seeing this Goku placed a hand to his chest, he never thought that his saiyan family would care about he didn't have a good experience with Raditz.

Almost everyone looked at the screen in sadness they all now know, the fate of his parents. It was truly saddening.

["No he's too young for that!"] said Gine Bardock turned to her and replied ["I don't think we can afford to wait any longer."]

["What does that mean?!] said Gine [It's Freiza apparently he's afraid of the legendary super saiyan or whatever.] said Bardock.

"So this is how Kakarot got sent off." said Vegeta solemnly.

["But that's just...that's just a children's fairy tale Bardock."] she shouted. Some of them could only think how ironic that was.

Bardock in response smiled awkwardly and said ["I know, but I don't think Freiza will take any chances. I get the feeling that death is on the way for us."] said Bardock as a serious expression tightened up on his face.

The camera cuts to baby Goku, then the two the saiyans jumping with a space pod out in the middle of nowhere, with a crying Goku in it.

["Is this the only option? Let's think about this."] asked Gine any good mother would he saddened by this. ["No there is not, if I turn to be wrong, I'll go for him."]

["Then why can't we go with him?"] said Gine hoping she could be with her child, but Bardock shot her down. ["We can't they'd track is down with those damn scouters."]

Then Gine asked "Bardock why are you going through so much trouble, it's not like saiyan father to worry over his children?"]

Hearing this, the others in the stand can't help but notice this in Goku and Vegeta.

The video went on ["I don't know maybe because I'm always fighting, destroying, maybe I'd like to save something for once, especially someone who's judged to be a Lower class warrior. Like my Kakarot."] said Bardock with a smile on his face.

Bardock words resonated with the crowd, Goku especially, his own son.

Bardock then set the pos down ["I've programmed it to be sent to a planet called earth, the people on that world has low power levels and aren't too technologically advanced. I think he'll be able to do well there Gine.]

["Good thing is it's not an extremely valuable world, so it won't even show up on the Freiza forces radar."] said Bardock.

["If your father is wrong about this we'll come get you immediately okay!" said Gine tears threatening to burst from her eyes.

["Do everything you can to survive okay son."] sais Bardock as he placed a hand on the pods window, baby Goku in response placed his tiny hand at where his father's is located.

This brought a tear to them all even Majin Buu.

"Mr.Satan why are they sending tiny Goku away?" said Buu. Mr.Satan replied "So he can be safe Buu." said the champ sadly.

As the pod started levitate Gine ran to and said on last thing to Goku. ["Dont forget us Kakarot!"] Those words rang out like a bomb in Goku's head.

He cuffed his head with his hand and thought 'But I forgot, how could I!"

All of his friends and family placed a hand on his back. "It's okay Goku it isn't your fault." said Shaggy.

The recording continued and the pod shot off into the night sky, the camera shifted to see Goku's pod flying outer space then, to Gine who started crying.

The camera again shifted to see Frieza firing off his death ball and Bardock firing off his own beam trying to defend his planet but he failed.

"He tried to fight back." said Krillin. "Bro that just." said Yamcha at loss of words.

Bulma, Chichi, Videl and 18 felt sad for Gine, they under stood how she must've felt.

"It pisses me off." said surprisingly Tien. "Chaotzu we're upping our training until we can beat Freiza." he said pissed.

"Mind if I join." said 17. "17 you were here?" said Krillen suprised at seeing his brother enlaw.

"I guess I'm sorta forgettable."
