Ch. 399 Thoughts on the past

Elric fell into deep contemplation about the world of the past as he sat the glass tablet on his metal desk. His thoughts swirled around the information contained within the research notes recorded on the glass tablet. They were both disturbing and exciting due to some of the light it shed on what the world was like before the Great Disaster that forever change the fact of Zania.

Even though the notes did not directly say it, the notes did indicate in an rather non-direct manor that the ancient citys were not a big single entity in terms of governance and ideals. They were more like a collection of semi independent City-states that had a central governing council that had some level of athoity over them. Each city seemed to have the same overall objectives, but had vastly different style of going about it, and, or different focuses all together.
