Hide winced, as Tsuki began wrapping his wing with aloe leaves, and thick cobweb. She handled his wing with a gentle touch, and within minutes, he was bandaged.
"There you are. I'll get Takashi to apologize." Tsuki said, her tail slightly slapping Takashi's paw.
"No, no it's alright. I'm sure he doesn't even want to anyways.." Hide said, rubbing his eyes.
"No, he will. I insist. It's the least I can do for you. Now you head up those steps and get some rest. Me and Takashi need to talk anyways." Tsuki said, motioning to the steps behind Hide, with her feathered wing.
He got up, and limped away to the smooth stairs, while Tsuki and Takashi went to the ledge outside the den.
"Tsuki, I'm not apologizing to him. He literally intruded our home, the home you finally found. We've finally found somewhere that makes both of us happy. I finally found a place that's far away from my home, and you finally found a place that's closest to your own home." Takashi said, his ears sinking into his head.
"Takashi, please. You literally blasted him, when he clearly can't see in the dark and looks very young. He was flying around aimlessly, trying to get to the cave entrance as fast as possible! You injured his wing, and his body, so now he's going to have to take time to heal. I can tell he's from the moon kingdom, and that means the kingdom wasn't abandoned like you thought. Which also means, I need to ask questions, and he has to stay. End of discussion." Tsuki argued, her feathers slightly fluffing up.
Takashi shook his head, flapping his long wings.
"I can't apologize to him. Sorry." Takashi said, his angry expression never slipping from his face.
"Cut him some slack! Escaping the moon kingdom is harder than anything we've ever done. First, he would've had to smooth talk the guards, which Arison is impossible. Unless he went through the southern gate. But even that's difficult. Then he'd have to walk through the village outside of the castles outer wall, without being noticed. And that's not mentioning what his family had to say about that. He's clearly tired, and very scared, and you're making it worse. Start thinking about the hell he's had to endure to get this far away from the kingdom." Tsuki snapped, flapping her wings, and storming into the cave.
Takashi's scales looked purple in the blue night sky, making him look like a delicate, dark purple flower, just barely surviving on the large cliffside.
Tsuki jumped up to the perch, then slowly walking her way over to Hide, sleeping soundly, as he held his wing.
Tsuki looked lost in thought for a moment before shaking her thoughts away. She fluffed her feathers to warm herself in the cool night before sitting next to Hide, her tail curled around her talons.
She looked outside to see the three morning suns in the sky. It had become a fade of beautiful pinks, purples, blues, and above it all, were the suns rising from the south.
Hide yawned, blinking the peaceful sleep from his eyes. He slightly stretched his right wing out. He looked over to Takashi, who was sitting at the cave entrance's ledge. He didn't realize he was staring for a moment.
"Yeah. He's beautiful, isn't he? You may not have been able to see him, but even at night, his scales sparkle like a chest of jewels." Tsuki said, extending her wings.
Hide jumped, and covered his face with his right wing, caught off guard that someone had noticed his elongated glance.
"No need to be shy. This is what he does every morning. He sits in the sun to recharge his energy. It must be strange to see, since you probably recharge your energy in the moonlight or darkness." she said, motioning for Hide to extend his left wing for a moment.
"Oh? How would you know that stuff? My mother recharges in the moonlight, and when she's at full charge, she's even able to make a large, moon shaped spotlight, that scorches whatever is underneath it's light!" Hide informed her.
Tsuki paused for a moment, her feathers lying flat on her head.
"Interesting. Tell me, why did you run away from the most profitable city in all of Solia? The moon kingdom is beautiful, why leave it?" Tsuki asked, taking off the old aloe leaves from his wing.
"My mother tried sending me to the kingdom of ice. I'd done nothing wrong, but she trusted her guard, Arison, more than me. Y'know, her son?" Hide said, his tail slightly swaying.
"Well, I'm sorry that happened to you, but you're with us now. You don't have to worry about getting hurt when you're with us...Well, more with me. Takashi has a hard time letting his guard down; just give him time." Tsuki said, wrapping his wing in three aloe leaves, and some cobwebs once more.
"I don't mean to be rude, but why only three aloe leaves? Last time, you used five." Hide said.
"Well, aloe helps a dragon's scales heal faster, so even over the span of three hours, your burns have healed considerably. Three, for right now, seems to be the ideal number for your burns until your fully healed." she said,
Hide nodded, then turned back to Takashi, now with the three suns fully risen, He could see Takashi's crimson scales, and a few glints of gold. His scales shone in the light like a ruby chain, with gold specks.
Takashi was a large dragon with wings just as large as he was, which were very long, with gold spirals on the inside of them. He had beautiful amber eyes, and a long tail, with a very sharp spike at the end. It looked like it could pierce a ravagers skin.
"Well? What's with him? His eyes are closed, and he looks like he's sleeping." Hide said, staring at Takashi for another moment.
"It's called listening. Get a clue, moron." Takashi said, his eyes opening.
"Oh, sorry.." Hide said, looking at his bandaged wing.
Tsuki looked at Takashi, her sky blue eyes practically setting him ablaze.
