Hand Fasting day 2

Seo Jun walks down the stairs not sure where to go. He sees a tanned skin woman, her long black hair in a single braid. Her clothing is strange to him, her dress looks like it is made from soft animal hide. The woman turns and smiles brightly at him .

"Don't be alarmed I'm Lotus ,Lilli's sister. I am not staying I just needed something I forgot. Here let me take this back to the kitchen." Lotus takes the tray from Seo Jun and motions him to follow her.

"Your clothing I have never seen a dress such as this." Seo Jun tells Lotus .

"This is a ceremonial dress of my ancestors. We are descendants of an indigenous people in America. I am a shaman of our tribe. I have a wedding to preside over today. I brought my herb bag when I came to help yesterday and forgot it. " Lotus sits the tray on the table. Lucian is sitting with Uzil eating breakfast.

"Don't let her fool you. She left it on purpose. She just wanted an excuse to come to take a look at you. To get a feel of who you are. Now I know our Lotus won't lie so I'm sure she has a ceremony to perform. I just know that her herb bag is always on her person." Lucian smiles at Lotus as he stands giving her a tight hug . Lotus smacks his arm before kissing his cheek.

"I was hoping to only get a glimpse of Jasmine and him. " Lotus rests her head on Lucian's shoulder pouting for being found out.

"It's ok I bet the others are wishing they were here as well. Now you better hurry it's nearly time for your ceremony back in America." Lucian opens a portal with a wave of his hand . Lotus waves bye and walks through quickly.

"I thought that Lilli was a twin, the two do not look alike." Seo Jun says as the portal closes.

"They are just one takes after the father and one the mother. The family lines can be confusing but in time you will begin to understand it. " Lucian motions for Seo Jun to follow him and Uzil. They walk through the side door of the kitchen and into the garden. Seo Jun is amazed at how big the garden is . Shiro sees the three men walking out and goes to greet them.

"Seo Jun did you rest well?" Shiro asks.

"Yes thank you, your garden is simply gorgeous. The array of trees and plants is not what I was expecting. " Seo Jun says as he touches a flower he doesn't know.

"That is a dogwood, we brought it from my wife's home . We have plants and trees from all over the world. Some are gifts from people I helped over my lifetime. Some we brought from different places we have traveled to. Each flower bed represents those places. This one we are standing by is representative of my wife's home. The cedar tree we decorate for Christmas, the dogwood, Cherokee roses, and mountain laurel are from America."Shiro explains as they walk towards the area of the ceremony.

"If you will excuse me I need to go get your bride. "Shiro heads back into the house to get Jasmine leaving Lucian and Uzil to take care of Seo Jun.

"I have wanted to ask, if you are the beginnings of their blood line your mates must have been human. Did you ever get over the loss?" Seo Jun asks because he knows Jasmine will leave him someday.

"My mate was Jasmine's great grandmother,she is still living though quite old. She will be celebrating her ninety six birthday this year. It will be her last , I have not told the children yet so keep it a secret. I do not know what life will be like once she is gone. I don't even know what I will do once she goes to the afterlife." Uzil tells Seo Jun sadnesses heavy in his voice. Lucian pats Uzil on the shoulder in comfort.

"I am lucky, my mate is Jasmine's great great aunt and she will be with me for eternity. She passed this mortal realm a few years ago and the father granted my wish for her to stay with me. As long as she does not see the horrors of my duties as the god of the underworld. She will be allowed to stay with me, when she misses her family to much I open a mirror for her to see them . It makes her happy, to see them. She knows she has passed the mortal realm and just believes that my home is her heaven. " Lucian tells Seo Jun as they have reached the spot for the ceremony Seo Jun gasp's at the beauty.

"Lotus and Lilli did this yesterday. Lilli is a light barer so she controls all elements. Lotus is an earth element. She made all of the stone and wood furniture. She designed each piece with the two of you in mind. The flowers are Jasmine's favorites. They did use some dragon flowers mixed with the star of jasmine for the table arrangements. " Uzil explains as Seo Jun touches the carving on the chair. It's a dragon wrapped protectively around a small fox with a star above them.

"It's truly amazing that she could do this and in such a short time." Seo Jun walks to the archway. Where a table with the binding threads are laid out.

"Uzil these are exquisite, I have never seen such a beautiful pair of binding threads. Thank you for your hard work." Seo Jun dares not to touch them before time.

"You are welcome, City told me the basic design but we are talking about my baby girl after all. So I had to make them as special as possible. He said normally a ring with the design is in the center. I wanted there to be no break of any kind in the threads. So I made it all one piece. I incorporated the required design but added a few of my own. There is a few protection Symbols added. " Uzil shows Seo Jun the symbols he means. The guest begin to arrive as GiGi Morrigan and Uktena arrive. Marbas, Selene,Aria ,Inari and of course the father arrives in a golden glow. Out of nowhere music begins to play. Seo Jun looks around and a group of musicians simply appears. Seo Jun looks at Lucian in surprise.

"Don't worry they are not mortal. These musicians are celestial beings. In fact they were once called the nine muses. Father asked them to come. " Lucian takes his seat leaving Seo Jun standing to the left of The Father. Uzil takes his place on the other side everyone stands as Shiro comes to the edge of the clearing with Jasmine. Her dress seems to be glowing like the moonlight in the day. The veil completely covers her like a silver cloud. Once she stands beside Seo Jun he sees just how transparent the veil is . His bride is breathtaking , his heart feels as if it could stop with feeling. Selene lifts the veil to reveal Jasmine to her groom. Seo Jun cannot think past how beautiful she is.

The Father clears his throat to get the couples attention. They both look at him.

"My child I understand that he is your groom but you must never forget to greet your creator. Even on such a day I may get jealous." The father winks at Jasmine playfully. Smiling Jasmine kisses the Father on the cheek.

"I could never forget , after all you are my grr." Jasmine is not allowed to finish sentence as the father placed his finger over her lips to hush her.

"I'm satisfied with your greeting. Now we will begin.

Entering into a joining is a life decision one that cannot be undone. Before I perform the ceremony I have a few things to say. Seo Jun I can feel that you already love my little Jasmine. Loving her is not all there is to being her mate. You must allow her freedom to be herself in all things. You must protect her even if it means your own life. You will have to stand up for her and to her when it is needed. You will face many obstacles over the next year. During that time you cannot waver in your love and faith in her. To do so could mean the end for both of you. Jasmine my precious little one I am both happy and saddened by this joining. Happy because I know that you already love Seo Jun though it has only been a blink of an eye since meeting him. I also know you will want to run into danger to protect him. This you will need to be more careful of doing. Seo Jun has never felt the level of love he is going to experience over the next months. Which could lead to misunderstandings. You must keep the faith you have in him and yourself. Especially during the times you will be apart. Remember that he belongs to you after this day and you to him. That no matter what things look like they are not always what they seem. You will need to be patient with your groom as he learns to deal with his feeling and your family. These are all new to him and he may get frustrated. So I am going to give the two of you one hour to talk things through to ensure your both willing to still go through this. If so we will continue in one hour." With this The father walks away heading towards the house everyone else followed behind. They leave the bride and groom alone staring at each other .
